We live in New Jersey and we were looking for a specific kind of car on line and Mitchell Dodge had that exact car a 2018 yellow jacket Challenger with the Shaker package we have never bought anything on line that was that expensive but after my husband talked to the sales associate Paul he explained everything to him and my husband and myself were put at ease Paul is the kind of person that he was as honest as possible and he told us every detail about the car and sent my husband as many pictures of the car we asked for I was nervous about sending that much money to someone on line but my husband reassured me that he talked to Paul many times and he said he trusts Paul and the dealership and there not going to try to scam use Paul said hes sold cars as far away as Michigan and then we spoke to Catina the sales accountant and she knew exactly how to handle the sale and she was great she made sure we were going to be able to get our car and the title as soon as possible after the car was now ours Paul has retired drivers he employes to deliver vehicles to the customers and we got a fantastic Guy Named Jeffrey and he drove our car 1.028 miles and delivered our car in perfect condition the people are top notch at Mitchell Dodge from the sales person Paul to the account Catina and finally The driver Jeffrey the are a trustworthy dealership with people that know how to treat a customer and to earn your trust
This was my fourth vehicle purchase from Mitchell CDJR and Chad Thrash. I cannot recommend this dealership enough! They are very professional and treat you like family. They definitely go the extra mile to make sure your car buying experience is as enjoyable as possible. A nice experience with good people. Could use some work on communication as I sat in the lounge for almost 20 minutes after my truck was finished. (I understand that they can get busy but perhaps they could send out texts to the costumer as part of the process as they are closing out their paperwork. Just putting it out there. )
This is the 3rd vehicle that Paul has sold me. The service was first class. I got to the dealership at 3pm and was done with financing by 3:35pm. He even took me home to take my truck I drove there back.. I sent Paul my order request and he kept me update weekly on the build and shipping process. Ordered the Jeep on August 25th and it was delivered October 14th. Very quick. The experience was great as a whole. Was in and out of the dealership in about an hour and a half. Excellent service all around.
I am still waiting on a refund from Mitchell’s. I purchased a key fob and to also get the one I had re programmed. Got all the way back to my home state and it wasn’t re-programmed and the representative tried to tell me that they didn’t charge me for it, but they charged to reprogram the fob I purchased. Why would I purchase a bring new fob where they have to cut the key and all and a programming wouldn’t come with it.I didn’t like how they handled the situation. After I had to to await 2 weeks just to get a call back saying that they didn’t charge me to re-program the initial fob that I had a problem with.

Weird experience. I went there to purchase a brand new $74,000 vehicle but the salesmen didnt even try to sell it to me. They showed me a price and said hows this sound? I asked them to break down the rebates that took the price down to $68,000 but they wouldnt. Then I said that was a little too much and then that was it. No selling, no haggling, no trying to entice the customer, nothing. So I walked away. A true salesmen would have got me at $64K. But they didnt even try. So weird. Maybe theyre used to nothing but overpaying, uneducated, suckers.
7 years years ago I got Dodge Journey with my dad here and was so Great experience and I’m Huge Jeep lover and always wanted my dream Grand Cherokee and really Brought back memories for me with my dad so buying my new 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee Saturday was excellent Experience. We will never recommend this place nor will we ever use them again. We made an appointment to take our jeep in to fix a check engine light. TWO WEEKS later they still have not fixed our jeep. Their excuse is we are short handed. Then WHY make all these appointments in the first place? We went and picked up our jeep and was told it would only take an hour or two to fix. This was the worst service we have ever received.
UPDATE: Went to drop my vehicle off yesterday to be serviced this morning. The staff was fantastic and was actually able to service my car right away and I didnt have to wait. The staff was fantastic!Although we did have to reschedule because they forgot to pick up my vehicle on the original date, the staff in the service center was extremely courteous and completed my service quickly.
Received excellent and courteous service from all the service center staff. I had a problem with the driver side door scrubbing against the fenderwell when it was opened and closed. Problem was worked on but did not fix the problem. It still rubbs and is causing the paint to chip away.
Everyone was professional and explained everything in detail, no unexpected charges!! It took a little bit to get the work done but I was far in the queue, I expected it. I was kept updated on everything going on and the price from the get go, did I mention no unexpected charges!! Thank you again for getting my wifes car up and running again.

My 2018 JKU is/was a project Show Jeep which IS indeed Sponsored. I also use this jeep for social media sites such as YouTube for how-to videos and such in hopes to help my fellow veterans a way to cope using rec therapy as a way to cope with PTSD and Depression. Because I had visited with a woman named Tomi at an 5k run Event on Fort Rucker, AL.. I thought I would check out and see what kind of deal I could obtain on the white Rubicon they had at the event and on their lot, as I was also in the market for a 2019 Rubicon for my wife, possibly two of them. The other would of course be mine. I had made an appointment for my JKU to get an oil change, tire rotation, and possibly have a small coolant leak looked at. Appointment was at 1130 on Febuary 13th, 2019. I decided to get there earlier and drop the jeep off while I dealt with the sales people. When I walked in, Tomi immediately had me speak with a salesman. This salesman Stan Starks was a typical up seller- however; way to much pressure to attempt to get me to commit to a deal. He kept preaching about what a great deal he could get me and I couldnt refuse. When he came back with a proposed offer for my jeep and this DEAL It was indeed full MSRP minus $500 mil rebate and only offered 25k for my pristine garaged jeep that had never even seen rain before (10k miles)..let alone dirt, mud, ect. This experience was sub par- and I walked away from further negotiations then allowing the service department to begin their work on my Jeep..it was about 1030-1100am. I witnessed them take my Jeep, put it on the lift. After 30+ minutes I decided to call a friend for a ride out for lunch, so I left. After lunch assuming they would be done, I noticed my jeep parked outside in the lot in a heavy rain storm (first time seeing rain since I had owned it). I went to follow up on the progress as it had been well over an hour. Service desk told me they didnt rotate the tires, and were still going to look for coolant leak. Shocked- I then decided to leave again and Every hour there after I called to check on jeep and was told, they went on lunch, or they wasnt sure about my jeep ..what sounded like excuses. By 3pm I HAD to get back home for my children after school. So I showed back up at the dealership. Then I was told my Jeep was still not ready and they were steam cleaning it as they had spilt some oil in the engine bay and still hadnt checked for a leak. This was a red flag to me knowing close to 5 hours had passed for just a simple oil change at this point. Getting impatient and worried, I walked around the parking lot only to see what appeared to be a very greasy dirty guy wearing regular clothes, taking a cold water power washer to my engine bay (not a steamer). This same guy drove my jeep back up to the service area and he hopped out of my jeep covered in oil and grease. I immediately walked over and could smell the oil from 20 plus feet away. I then lifted my hood to then see my worse nightmare. OIL was everywhere including outside the jeep, body, fenders, in the air intake, and on my S-PoD multiple light controller and all the wiring.(I have photos) and at least 60% of the undercarriage. The dealership attempted to hand me my jeep back like nothing was wrong. I told the service manager and she requests I bring the jeep back Friday to have it cleaned??? Just Cleaned? I have aftermarket parts scratched and damaged/painted on- and a garage floor and driveway covered in oil now. This dealerships negligence is far beyond anything I would have ever expected from a certified Jeep dealership! I now have parts now rusting and carroding all the sudden. They expect me to just let them attempt to clean it? Well I did- They did get the engine bay semi cleaned up- but now have stained parts from the oil, still a scratched S-POD Cover- and the undercarriage is still dripping oil all over my driveway and garage floor. They have had my jeep for over 5+ days in total and still cant get things right..
The service department was outstanding from the time I dropped my vehicle off for service to the time I picked it up! The technician came out and explained everything they found and fixed and gave me total peace of mind that if any issues were to arise I would be taken care of. Thank you sooo much and you can bet I will be back again!

I just arrived from overseas. After I picked up my Dodge Durango from the port, the AC was not working, there was an alert icon on the dash lights and I wanted an oil change. The techs were upfront that there were several diagnostic messages to work through before they could resolve the AC issue and correct the alert. It was an almost all-day process (seven hours). I waited as this was my only car. I was provided updates and, by the end, everything was resolved and the cost was less than $100. All messages were resolved, no more alerts and the AC was frigid. I was advised if there was another issue with the AC, a new compressor might be needed. A month later, it is still chilling my bones. The only reason I did not give a fifth star was that I was never told that it was possible for it to be an all day process. I would have taken a ride home and came back upon completion. Otherwise, I am very pleased with the service compartment. I would also like to state that I wandered the lot, looking at new and used cars. Nice selection and, once I established that I was just passing time, I was not hassled by the sales staff. I will consider buying a car / truck there in the future.
Mitchell Dodge service desk and their staff are friendly and always helpful. The technicians have been great in taking care of both of my trucks. When I have work done I always get to talk with the technician about the work being done. As I have said before best in the wiregrass.

Great Service Department. I had some front end issues on my 2010 Dakota with 125K on the odometer; a lot of noise underneath, vibrations through the steering column. Mitchells Service Department got it running as smooth as the day I brought it home new. Got some new tires while it was there; Toyo High Country. They look great, deep soft tread; I couldnt be happier with how my Dakota is running and looking.
Had a good experience with buying the truck, but got told later that I wouldnt get a free first oil change and checkup.EDIT: Shortly after this review was posted online, Mitchells internet manager called and asked if there was something she could do to fix this. I replied that its simple: You buy a new $50k vehicle, the usual complimentary first oil change and quick checkup (to see if the vehicle is performing as it should) is expected. It shouldnt HAVE to be asked for or bartered. She was going to talk to the general manager about it and call me right back. That was over a week ago. Im assuming that were being a tightwad on the small matter of one simple oil change and a check on the truck. No matter. Ive already got Mobil-1 synthetic running through the engine. I doubt they would have paid for it. I know I should have went to Tallahassee Chrysler/Dodge.....

I recently traded in my ram and no longerneed to package so I basically over paid for the oil change. It is worth it if you decide to keep the vehicle

This place is very unprofessional and the service is a joke and rip off especially when they think theyre dealing with a lone woman. My wife took our 2014 Jeep Patriot to be repaired and they have now messed up our entire engine and is trying to lay the blame on us. I would advise everyone to take your vehicle elsewhere if you want quality service.

Chad and Paul were EXCELLENT in regards to communication and exploring all options to make the sale happen! However, a couple of other factors were subpar in regards to my prior experiences with purchasing vehicles from dealerships. The truck was not filled up with gas prior to leaving the lot, the truck was not detailed prior to leaving the lot (still had a lot of pollen on the exterior, a sticky substance in one of the cup holders, etc.). Also, make sure to thoroughly review your sales contract before signing. The finance person had added $899 gap coverage on a vehicle I have quite a bit of equity. It was not agreed upon prior to him putting it on the paperwork. That ended up causing my delivery being negated because I had to return to the dealership to get the paperwork re-done before I could sign. Again, Chad and Paul were GREAT (they deserve 5 stars), but the rest of the experience did not live up to previous experiences.

All of a sudden in this Alabama Summer heat my 2018 Jeep Renegade fan/ac just stops working. I take it up to the dealership because I know I am still under warranty but it was around 3 on a Saturday and the service department was gone. A few of the guys suggested that I look up in my manual about fuses as that could be an easy fix to my problem. Then, this gentleman named Justin came out of nowhere and asked for my keys to see what he could find out. We went outside with him to see what we could do. He was so nice and so patient explaining what he was doing. He stood out there explaining and helping until sweat was dripping off his nose. I have never had customer service like that at this dealership. I didnt even see where his office was but he heard my issue and came out to see if he could help. People like Justin are few and far between. Mr. Mitchell, give that man some recognition. And people of the Wiregrass area, ask for him if youre ready to purchase a new vehicle or just need some help.
I would highly recommend that you buy your next Jeep from this business. When you stop by to look at the vehicles, make sure to ask for Paul to show you around. Paul will make sure that you are taken care of during your visit!

I am sitting here now ... was told be here at 7 am for 4 new tires and alignment...let them know I had to be at work at .... at 8:10am I notice the lady working on my tires is just standing there talking to a salesman (laughing)... I go to the service person and ask I am going be out of here and make it to work by 9 like I was told....few minutes later... nope not gonna happen, 8:39am took photo of not one tire on my truck yet AND to get a front end alignment my truck will be taken to ANOTHER dealer...

Definitely not what I’m used to in service and customer care. Went in for an oil change and have some lights checked out that showed up after our move. Turned out to be something more that I was expecting, no biggie. Wasn’t called about the issue until 430pm less than a half hour before they were closed when they had my truck since 1030 on Monday. Was informed they would have the parts in on Thursday if I told them what I wanted to do my Tuesday 1pm. Thursday came, I wasn’t called, I called them to see if my truck was done and was told parts weren’t in. Turned out they didn’t get the part/s not sure until Friday. I called Friday as they didn’t call again to see where they were on my truck still no where and weren’t sure the would be done until the following week. Following week (Christmas) Wednesday I called as they haven’t called me still to see when I can pick it up, was told it’s finished and ready. 45 mins later they called me back saying they didn’t install one piece that was to be replaced and was going to be couple hours. Good thing we had plans to leave town that day, didn’t leave on time at all. Went to pick up my truck and was used to service back home, when services my vehicle is washed and cleaned on the inside and the def is refilled. Not the service I was expecting or used to, with the few phone calls and not complete servicing.

Went in to replace battery in key fob and make an appt for airbag recall..Jan realized I lived 40+ miles away and had a technician open. Was asked if I had an extra hour to wait, if so it could be done then. Of course I jumped at the opportunity. Instead of driving back next week, accomplished my needs today. Jan and others employed there were all very congenial and professional. Highly recommend Mitchell for their employees and service!
Seem like really good, honest people. They were really patient and understanding while maintaining a professional attitude, and although we werent able to come to terms on a particular vehicle, I think that I will probably start here when shopping for a new vehicle in the future.
Typical Dealership Service, do not recommend.I brought my 2014 Ram 1500 in to get some recalls taken care of and have my rotors and brakes replaced IF they needed it.I received a call that my brakes needed immediate attention and that it was going to be $650 for parts and labor. I turned down the service and was going to replace them myself. Well today, I replaced my brakes and they had well over half the life left on the pads, yeah the pads were a little rusted, but no where near how bad they said it was. Mitchell said that it required immediate attention. I attached a picture to show what the consider immediate. Enterprise folks, and service members do not do business with this dealership.
Well after reading the reviews online I was skeptical to take my vehicle there for service. But I did in the end and definitely do not regret it in the least. The staff were extremely courteous and professional and took care of every issue I had with my vehicle. I will definitely be coming back.

THIS BUSINESS IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS WHO USE FEAR AND INTIMIDATION.I took in my 2014 Chrysler town and country for some warranty covered maintenance and it was terrible from the start. I had to take my vehicle in on two separate occasions because the kid at the counter told me that my appointment was Thursday and when I brought my van he said I meant next Thursday.While annoying I could deal with this incompetence. Things got far worse when I went to pick up my vehicle. First they told my all inclusive warranty came with a $100 deductible. I made a small argument but was in a hurry so I was just gonna pay it. Then they told me that I was also being charged fifty dollar labor charge. I was angry and asked to talk to the manager of the repair shop. The guy that came out was completely unprofessional and told me that my issue was not his problem.I then asked to speak with the general manager who came out with the same answer. When I argued with him (while in my Army uniform) he threatened to call my commander (boss). When I told him that I was I fact the commander he was panicked. He then threw out a random name and said he would call and report me to them. To which I responded go ahead. On the way to his office he again threatened me by saying he was cutting me a break and could in fact charge me more for the services. I had to leave to get to an event so I paid the $150.I since got rid of my Chrysler and will never do business with them again! I would caution anyone who is considering doing business with these crooks, they are sleezy, rude, and try to scare you.
This place is awesome. Brent goes above and beyond to make sure all customers are taken care of and the service department is awesome as well and they really take good care of your car. We used to only buy Chevys but Mitchell Dodge made me a Dodge person!

I would not recommend this dealership for any reason. I specifically asked to have my brakes looked at. Instead, Mitchell Chrysler decided to change my oil without my knowledge. I was charged a great amount for this change despite what I asked for. My brakes are worse now than when I took my car to the dealer. After expressing my confusion, the service manager was disrespectful and unwilling to admit the brakes were not checked. This is a poor reflection of Mitchell Chrysler and the management team at the dealership. Do not recommend anyone use Mitchell Chrysler for business.
As a previous employee, and life long customer, I couldnt ask for anyone to treat me better!! My current sales experience was more than I could ask for and my service is always taken care of in a timely fashion. Today I took my 2006 Dodge Dakota with a newly rebuilt transmission to their shop to get codes cleared off the module. I told them thats all that needs to be done, but they insisted that I needed a new seal for the front pump and wanted over $700. They continued to disagree and I still had to pay the $98 for diagnosis. Later I took my truck to a local mechanic and he cleared the code free of charge and guess what it runs perfectly fine now. Do no ever do business with these a******.
Straight shooters and when I have an appt they get er done. Very helpful service dept. I always feel like they know what theyre doing compared to other places working on my truck.

I made my appointment last week with the nicest lady. This morning I took my truck in and had it serviced. They checked it and found there was a recall. Then completed the recall maintenance and a complete check on my truck. The report was excelent. The service was absolutely excellent! The price was great also... much less than what I expected.

They charged me $100 bucks to hook it up to a computer and tell me it needed a new turn signal switch and windshield wiper switch for $800 more bucks.I said well that sounds funny. But whatever Im not giving it to you.Took the jeep home and unhooked the battery and hooked it back up. Take a guessThe signals and wipers work again.Wheres my $100?Im coming back for it! Bet on that!Anyone looking at this place for service or to purchase a vehicle should read all negative reviews first. They are not lying!
I enjoy the clerical service in the Maintenace department. The clerks are always familiar with my name which makes me feel valued and appreciated.
Excellent service. I had an issue with the door locks and the vehicle was just out of warranty. They covered it anyway. They will continue to get my business.

Took my truck in on May 7th and still have no answers. Service light was on, needed oil change, exhaust leak and recall. Had to call them on 9th to find out parts ordered and would be ready on 16th. Called again to check on truck to be told they were waiting on warranty department. Seems either new heads or new engine. Adjuster was sent only to tell them to remove camshaft and he would return to decide what to do. Here it is the 26th and I have no clue what is going on with my truck. Being in construction and traveling for work I need my truck but I have had to turn down 2 jobs since I have no transportation. How hard can it be. If it is broke fix it. I have lost 2 weeks of work and still losing money but they dont care about that. I will never deal with them again.
Service department is courteous and attentive. Brent was my salesman and did everything he could to get me in the right vehicle.

Went to check on 2010 Challenger, after giving all my details and waiting 3 days for car to be ready had to sit and wait 2 hours to find out that they couldnt get me approved went to another dealer next day they had me approved in minutes for different car now just waiting on them to locate it and bring it in. If you want to play games go ahead waste your time with these guys. If not go somewhere else...
I would rate this dealer 1 out of 10.I took my 2015 vehicle to install some factory accessories and the mechanic installing the components did it all wrong, when asked the service manager, he replied “that’s how we do business here”. The service manager is very ignorant and the biggest worthless of all, besides he lies in your face and has no balls to face it when he is wrong, which is 99.9% of the times. Don’t even bother bringing your issues to the higher management, because they are as worthless as the rest of the employees. Take the time and drive a little, but take you vehicles as far away as possible from this place.Oh by the way, their slogan “For the People” maybe it should be changed to say “Against the people”.Mr. Whitehead, remember that your business depend on retaining customers not your presumed model, to take as much as possible from one customer, hoping tomorrow another one is going to fall in the same trap.

I took my truck in for transmission problems. Just picked up with a new dent in the door. Also as soon as I started the truck the change oil light came on and it shows a turn signal light out. You would think these things would have been brought to my attention. I a curious how they expect to keep customers when they are rude. The service advisor was rude acted like I wasnt important enough for her to deal with. Then I had a questions and The Parts manger Michael was extremely rude. SO the moral of the story. Make the trip to Dothan its worth it.
Do not give them your number! In order to view their inventory online you have to provide contact information, which was our first mistake. If youre out of options or curious about what they have, I recommend putting in false contact information. Their dealers called us again even after I said Ill call them if I found anything. They tried to push a vehicle on us that was outside of our budget even after we persistently said no.They are pushy dealers and while trying to get a few thousand more out of us, they lost all business from us.Also, their radio scripts are canned scripts every other dealer uses across the country. Theyre not a dealer for the people, its just their gimmicky ploy. Theyre a joke.
