Hands down the best music shop I have ever been too.excellent customer service,very knowledgeable staff(that are actually musicians),the greatest guitar set ups and repairs I have ever had.if you dont buy,get repairs from this store you are truly missing out.

Just checked this place out today. I read the reviews and gave it a shot and I dont know what these people are complaining about, I had a great experience and found a sweet brand new Jackson electric guitar for the price of a used LTD ESP on Facebook. These people got my future business, they also made me feel at home unlike World Of Music!

My experience today at Key Note Guitar was a disaster. I was excited to go in there the first time but the woman was made me feel that I wasnt welcome. Awe-full experience. She needs prozac or something. Im never going back and I will not suggest going there.

I like supporting local but I will not in this case. A few years ago I brought in a EVH Wolfgang for adjustment. I was told how awful and overpriced these guitars are. Now I see Keynote is an EVH dealer. Pretty big turnaround. Is it garbage or not? Is that your business model to insult customers gear?

Had a great experience found a great solid wood acoustic guitar. Great price for solid wood hand made guitar. Great staff friendly. Guitars you cant find in Erie.

I finally decided to buy a guitar because Ive always wanted to learn how to play. Ive been calling around asking how much lessons are at different places. Every place I called the employees where very nice until I called Key Note Guitar. The lady was very rude and abrasive as she told me we dont do lessons, if you want to learn go on YouTube. A simple sorry we dont offer those services here would have sufficed.

I had Key Note Guitar set up my acoustic guitar. What an improvement. Lyle did a really nice job. I am very pleased with the results. It was a pleasure chatting with Ricki and Lyle. I highly recommend Key Note Guitar.

The owner, Ricki, has been very helpful to me. She took a lot of time out of a busy day to work with me. I like the style and selection of guitars and the deals I get on strings here. Keynote sells Giannini (which can be a lot nicer than you think), and various permutations of Godin instruments, to name a few. Usually nice package deals can be had if you are not a jerk and you realize that you are going into a one-person shop and not Guitar Center. I like supporting local and I like this shop in particular over others in the region. Thanks Keynote! P.S. Ricki is also very skilled at setup work and even repair work. Just in case that helps you.

This place was awesome, and the staff there were so kind to me when I cane in to get my cousins guitar looked at. He cant speak since his stroke, and music is a lifeline for him. Knowledeable technician helped us out so much. Hes there Tue & Fri They also offer a wide variety of music lessons

I have never been inclined to write a bad review but my experience today at Key Note Guitar was absolutely horrible. I was extremely excited to go into that little guitar store for the first time but the customer service I received today was beyond miserable and not at all what anyone should expect or experience. Im never going back and I will not suggest going there.

Amazing i went there to buy guitar picks and they had a nice variety of picks from .48 mm to 2.00 mm even wooden picks with thumb and finger grips. I also bought a stand it was amazing staff.

The owner rikkileigh is the most knowledgeable guitar person in erie and will get the best guitar for you in your hands at the best price.

Have a fender stratcaster in need of new strings looking to get it repaired around holidays for a reasonable price

Welp, as everything in erie is second...maybe third class, this place was tolerable...for a while, but as my cynicism/reality/false hopes have AGAIN been proven true, this place now joins my opinion of erie. it now resembles the other local erie music stores(WOM and GC), the reasons(to me) are obvious, firstly, and probably all that needs to be said is its staffed by locals...few will get it, most will not, but those who get it...know. example? ive been around the world(many times), lived from west coast to east, and in between(Denver), and erie has the most unprofessional, negative, curious attitude ive ever come across, and now this place has joined the stereotype erieite mentality. oh well,my nickel isnt going to make or break this place, but all my shopping is online now, almost zero goes to erie, except for food...
