Great selection, some prices are really high. Research before you buy, the do have fair prices on some stuff so look it up before you buy. Bargain with them.

The guy was a bit quick to look at the stuff I had and he basically told me that my stuff isnt worth anything. I just wish they were a bit more friendly here. But my experience with any card, comic book, game type store is that they are rarely nice or friendly. I would probably come back if I had some stuff for him to check out but I never look forward to going into these kinds of stores.

Shady business practices. Their prices increase after I get off the phone and drive down from Murrieta to buy. They sell previous year product based off eBay, on the spot!! Gonna buy off eBay instead of making the trip to this place. All respect lost, shame considering such a tight knit market... New store in Temecula, check it out!!!!

I recommend Lion in The Sun to all brides that are looking for a stationary store to design their wedding invitations. I was very nervous and indecisive about my invitations but Danielle was amazing from our first meeting until I put the invitations in the mail. She helped my fiance and I decide on a design and offered us many options to keep the cost down.Our communication with the shop during the proof process was super easy and a fast turn around.The invitations came out absolutely beautiful and I cant wait for our guests to receive them this week.Thank you Lion in The Sun and Danielle for a wonderful experience and high quality and stunning wedding invitations!

The guy is rude the woman has an attitude but after being in the store for a little while they warm up to you.. of you try to buy something they look the price up on ebay so no way of getting a decent deal

They have a good selection of trading cards. I go for Magic and they have a bunch of old singles that are reasonably priced. Good customer service as well

Just rediscovering the addictive world of baseball cards and stumbled upon this hidden gem. Tons of inventory and lots of fun exploring the boxes, packs and single cards from every era. Al is a down-home, friendly and trusting owner who made me feel like a long time friend. I will be back!

Ive gone here to buy cards a few times and each time I was severely disappointed. The owners seem like every time you come in, youre just inconveniencing them, overprice their cards, and its a cramped and cluttered environment that makes trying to shop for anything difficult.Cards that arent worth anything, hell try to haggle with you over. I once went in to try and sell all my pokemon cards just to get rid of them. I wasnt even looking to make a lot of money off of them, and he still wanted to sort through and take what few cards he thought were worth anything even though I expressly said I just wanted to get rid of them all and didnt care how much I got in return for them. Needless to say, I took my cards and left.I wont be going here again for any of my card game needs.

Its just great to see a card shop still in existence. This shop is loaded with all sorts of stuff sport cards, pokemon, garbage pail kids, magic and those other card games I know nothing about. Lots of packs that are priced fair. Singles are overpriced from a Ebay standpoint. Maybe the owner negotiates?? Idk I just bought packs. Go and enjoy this gem while it last. Not many true card shops left.

2013This place is horrible I tried to call this place for a 3 days straight no answer .So we decided to go there and when we got there he was trying to swindle us also his prices are insane. Its amazing he is in business but i guess if your ripping people off all the time you can stay in business. IF I COULD PUT -0 THAT WOULD BE MY RATING

Well Im kinda a hot head and in my feild of work I deal with a lot people who devalue my items I have for sale with comments and mostly made up b.s so they can purchase my stuff at some ungodly low cost. That being said I found this place and had a ton of baseball cards I wanted to sell. So I went to this place with a very low price in mind to sell them. When I showed my collection it was about ten seconds before I started hearing about how these were not worth anything because they were so over printed and everyone under the sun had them Wich makes them almost annoying to even have them at all. Of course I dont quit so I continued to bug these poor people until one day the owner Al took a entirely different approach with me . I was the only one there at the moment and he took me on a tour of his closed boxs Wich were all over. He spoke very kindly to me and showed me thousands and thousands of cards exactly like the ones I was attempting to sell. Although it was still a bummer they were patient with me and very cool and to the point proving that what they were telling me was truth.....I now only deal in comic books and I go there as often as I can afford to get some really cool books. I have a great deal of respect for them and hope they can tell. My advice to anyone would be to jump right in . If you are looking for ANY KIND OF CARDS WHATSOEVER, THEY GOT THEM! And if you want an idea of what you have for card value bring your cards down there. Youll get the facts straight away wether its good or bad news its the truth and they have my hard earned trust and respect! A+ shop

Walked in there after work and I wanted to get a Derek Jeter Card. Couldnt find anything because it was so un organize. Cards all over the place. Cramped asf. Im surprised that they can stay in business everything there is over priced. Im not hating. Im a collector myself and there not collectors. There just horders. Dont shop here at all. There cards look like reprints. Shop on eBay or offerup. They put a disgrace on collecting. It made me sick walking in there. Half the stuff they have they dont even know what it is. At least go through everything and look at the prices than make it a decent price that people can actually afford. Please people dont waste your money here. The owners are a-holes and think they know everything.

Worsf place ever guy is a a-hole couple friends and i walked in about 4 of us first thing he said was why did you bring the whole neighborhood also it seems like your not even able to go in there to just look, he makes it seem like you have to buy something...... AND worst of it all if you change your mind of a purchase he said well what changed from here to the door like maybe your attitude made me not wana buy.. Would not recommend going in there,

I went in with a lot of old very nice Pokemon cards and he spent about 15 minutes going through my stack a few times choosing the ones that he wants. Then he takes my 1995 lapras card puts in in the middle of his deck then says the most I can give ya is 15. These arent very good cards. I saud no then took it all back then a guy outside that saw my cards inside asks to see my cards then he ends up giving 45 bucks for less than half my deck. That guy is a Rip off.

Place looks like a hoarders trailer home and the old white guy swore like we were trying to steal everything in his shop. The only theft going on here is the 50 cent magic cards they have priced at 15 to 20 dollars, they are running a freakin scam.

I had my nephew take me to a nearby sports collectable store in Escondido CA. Im a collector of baseball autographed by MLB HOFers. I quickly noticed several items I liked, looking for Tony Gwynn, found it but a little bit more $$$ than the going rate. I also noticed 3 forged Mickey Mantle autographed baseballs, with the classic banana Ms. Easy to spot, would take them off the shelf immediately!! I only buy JSA, PSA, Beckett or SGC authenticated items.

Big variety, but thats the only good thing they have there.

Very rude owner hovers over each and every customer. When I politely asked to remove the card from the top loader prior to commiting to a purchase he seemed insulted. Beware some cards sold are in incredibly poor condition and are masked by even worse top loaders. Also check prices online prior to shopping at this location.

If the owner was nice this place would be an easy 5 star rating however he is always super grumpy and acts like you are inconveniencing him if you ask him to let you see anything in the store. It is actually sad because I feel like the main owner is a good guy at heart but is just grumpy because of his age.

Great customer service. They have a huge selection of not only sports cards but Pokémon, Magic, Star Wars, My Little Pony etc. Small store cramped but all good stuff.
