Jim and Ruben came to my house about 8:45am to install an automatic garage door. After a few fun stories about my experiences with John McEnroe, they started to work on tearing out the original wooden door that had long ago stopped working. I came back a few times to check on their progress and at about 10:30 I had a new, insulated garage door with two remotes, a beautiful automatic light inside the garage, and a snazzy key pad on the outside of my garage. I’d been interviewing potential garage door replacement candidates for the past three years and was unbelievably impressed with the teamwork, professionalism and speed at which the garage door was installed. Arguably, this has been the single greatest improvement to our house. Because of COVID, we’ve all been jammed on top of each other and this extended our living space tremendously. I would highly recommend the Garage Door Man to anyone considering putting in a new garage door.

I obtained several bids on replacing a 30 year old heavy wooden Garage Door including online Home Depot and an attempt from Costco. Jim from Garage Door Man of Escondido was one of two written bids I obtained.I found Jim both knowledgeable and easy to talk too. His offered product matched what I was seeking. His bid ended up being exactly half the price of the other written bid and was hundreds less than Home Depot.FYI:Costco finally returned my original call a week later.The end result is that we have a beautiful new roll-up garage door that meets our HOA requirements and a very efficient LiftMaster Garage Door opener. On time, quick and quality work. Julie scheduled us quickly and Hector did quick work replacing the two garage springs on our double garage door. He also inspected and found side cords fraying and a broken hinge which he replaced for us. He also gave us recommendation to replace the LED light that could intefere with our garage door use. Will definitely call for any trouble on future and recommend to family and friends.

Pleasant person on phone took my information and price was in ballpark of others so I gave them a try. The owner of the company did the work same day and it needed a little extra TLC and he did it at a very reasonable cost. I really like them and would do business with them again. One of our doors stopped functioning last night, I could tell that the cables had popped off their pins. Thought the torsion spring was done. Jim came out first thing in the morning, found out that an incorrect bolt was used, rubbing on the drum that eventually caused the cables to pop. He had it fixed, greased and working more quietly than it ever has in about 30 minutes for far less $ than he originally estimated. An honest man. Help me program the remote as well! Can not recommend highly enough.

Jim gave me a quote over the phone, and came to fix my door on a Saturday. He arrived prompt, and not only fixed the problem, but also tuned my entire system in about 10 minutes. He charged me the amount he quoted on the phone. I discussed with him an issue I had when having my current opener installed, and he confirmed my gut feeling that I did not need to spend more than double what I had already spent on the installation and opener already. Since Jim was so upfront and forth coming - I would trust him again and highly recommend him to anyone in the future. He did a great job at a convenient time for me!

Hector and Gino came out right on time as the girl on the phone had told me, They were very helpful. They had my new door after I installed it working in 5 minutes, charged me for a service call, But spent an hour doing extra things like reprograming my 2 cars which have the built in remote along with my from gate reprogramed and my key pad re-programed all for the service charge. Very honest company.I would recommend them to anyone.
