Dr. Spencer is FANTASTIC! I am a person who asks lots of questions, and she does a great job explaining everything. Shes also great with my kids. They are middle and high school aged, and both really enjoyed their interactions with her.Whether filling out paperwork or choosing frames, the office staff is really helpful. Everyone is courteous and professional. Honestly, one of the best customer/patient experiences Ive had.
Kind of rude. My daughter called to ask if they fitted for colored contacts and the woman gave her a curt no and hung up. Sorry, but we dont do colored contacts would have been a better answer and wouldnt have taken but a second longer. How about some of that good ol Southern Hospitality I always hear about?

I have been having eye irritation from allergies so I called them this morning and was able to come straight in. Everyone at the place was very nice and a total delight! I was extremely pleased with the service from everyone especially Dr. Roland! They have gained a new customer!
I have been a patient of Dr. Rolands for many years receiving the most professional and friendly service from her and her entire staff. I have had numerous positive experiences where they have gone above & beyond such as seeing me for a last minute appt., providing me pairs of contact lenses when I did not place my order in a timely manner, allowing me to contact them on the weekend when I was having an eye emergency, and most recently they made another huge positive impact on me and those I work with. I needed a students eyeglasses repaired quickly and cheaply so I stopped by and asked if they could help. Not only did they repair the eyeglasses quickly, but they did not charge for the repair. I immediately shared this awesome experience with my coworkers at school and my family & friends. It meant so much to me that they did this for one of our students. I highly recommend them for all your eye needs.

I bought my glasses here almost a year ago and have great service and care. Last week my glasses broke and I took them back to see if they could repair them and the customer service I received was amazing. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes with a brand new pair of glasses and I wasn’t charged a dime! My glasses were still under warranty and I had no idea! They were so sweet and efficient and I will never go anywhere else for glasses or eye care. They really do go above and beyond.
Dr. Roland is very personable and takes the time to listen to your concerns. She is very thorough and clearly cares about her patients. The office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about different types of contacts, frames, and lenses (and they are really nice). It also helps that they are actual licensed opticians and not just a salesperson trying to up-sale you on everything. They are very honest about what you need and dont need. I had a great experience and will definitely be going back. Highly recommend.

I am VERY frustrated with this business. I feel like they have really taken advantage of me monetarily and I should share my story. It all began when I went for my first visit and had all paperwork filled out prior to arriving. I had a phone conversation prior with Mandy (nothing was verbally stated) and I read all paperwork properly. I had checked the box marked “dilation” of eyes. This procedure is a free service included in the eye exam versus paying $45 for the machine to read your eyes. My eye tech, Cynthia, immediately tells me that due to Covid-19, there is no eye dilation currently. Should this not have been told to me beforehand? Not only did I have to miss part of work to come to my annual eye exam, but now I have to spend an additional $45 out of pocket. Okay, I agree to this. I made an eye exam for two reasons: I hadn’t had one in a long time and I had a persistent eye infection which hadn’t cleared up after seeing my primary care doctor twice (being on two different antibiotic drops). Dr. Roland is very kind and professional. No issues there. This issue I have is that I told her all the issues I had been having with my right eye for nearly a month by this point and offered to show her initial pics of the infection from the start on my phone. She declined. She looked BRIEFLY at my eye, told me it was an allergic reaction, suggested preservative free artificial tears and handed me 4 individual packages of lens wipes. I call the office for an appointment a week later because my eye was still very bothersome and the eyelashes I was losing was still a lot. They fit me into the schedule, but I had to miss more work. Dr. Roland checked more thoroughly at this appointment. She checked for a stye. There wasn’t one to her knowledge. She ‘thought’ it was cellulitis and prescribes me antibiotics. I take the entire bottle of antibiotics and my eye is still not healed. I call my ENT doctor and he fits me in. He looks at my eye for literally two seconds and tells me it’s blephritis. He prescribes me eye drops that I was told to take 3 times a day for 7 days. The infection is healed! Back to contacts. I not only had to miss more work to see my ENT, but had to pay a heafy bill. I requested the manager from Dr. Roland’s office to call me, in which she did. Her lack of compassion for the situation tells me exactly what kind of business this is. It’s all for the money. I highly suggest looking elsewhere for your eye care. Dr. Broome is excellent. He just couldn’t squeeze me in and I needed to be seen ASAP due to an eye infection.

At the reception procedures were as usual.Once our daughter (12) was attended by Dr. Roland Casey and her optician Elizabeth Ann Sullivan we were more than satisfied with their service. The follow up appointments were as impressive. We all have different worries and needs to which they acted patiently, caring and effectively.Since our daughter is a pre-teen, I would recommend Specs Eye care for any age.

Ive moved from the state of Ga. and cant make it into their office. I just called in for a pupil to pupil measurement and I was told they dont give it out and dont have to. She (didnt get her name) said if I were to go and order glasses online I could order the wrong ones. I said Ill take that chance, mine were just broken and my insurance has already paid for an exam. She again said they dont have to give it out. Ridiculous! Poor customer service.
