I came in to get some ideas of costs and was greeted by all of the employees. I ended up talking with Kisha. She was very professional and friendly and gave me exactly the information I was needing. She made sure I knew price ranges, what all was covered, who the doctor was, when he was available, and gave me a card before I left, all without being pushy. Even if I do not choose to go with this option for my vision services, I still give them high remarks for their pleasant disposition and thorough knowledge. On a side note, the store was very well kept and taken care of.
I have bought several pair of glasses from Walmart Vision Center (WMVC) over the years and previously have had little problem with either the staff or quality of the product. Of course, this has changed.I bring my own frames and purchase only the lenses, which are bifocals. I placed 2 orders spaced over 3 months apart. Both orders were supposed to be glass lenses because Ive had problems with plastic lenses becoming splotchy and opaque possibly due to chemical/flash exposure, but Rebecca fouled up the 1st order and the lenses were plastic. I didnt catch it until the lenses were scratched rather easily and I had taken delivery of the 2nd pair, which were glass, and weighed almost twice what the plastic lens weighed (44g v 23g).When I picked up the 2nd pair, their rep attempted to keep my old lenses, and I took them, telling them they are mine and I had paid for them. WMVC rep was very HESITANT to give me my lenses, which were clearly mine and was argumentative. When I confronted WMVC with the evidence that the 1st pair had plastic lenses and was supposed to be glass, their rep was also argumentative and acted like I was uninformed, claiming the lenses were not plastic, but polycarbonate and that the 60 day warranty had expired. The funny thing about that was when she pulled up the order in the computer, Rebecca had entered the word plastic in the order field. WMVC reluctantly agreed to replace the plastic lenses with glass lenses if I paid the $43 difference. I agreed to do this even though it was Rebeccas fault they had screwed up the order. When the 1st pair was finally filled with the correct glass prescription, things got ugly. Rebecca would not return the old lenses and kept them under threat of keeping the entire order. The lenses were clearly mine since I had already paid for them when I picked them up in June and the new glass lenses were mine since I paid for the difference. I thought about reporting Rebecca to the the police and let them sort it out. Because of my previous encounters with picking up my old lenses, it was clear that WMVC engages in a pattern of deception and fraud to deprive customers of their property.I am extremely dissatisfied with the customer service and unprofessional and fraudulent conduct of the WMVC reps. There is no excuse for Rebeccas deceptive practices and whose conduct amounts to thievery.
Great experience! I went in with an existing prescription from my ophthalmologist, and the staff here was very patient, friendly kind and helpful. As a new eye-glass wearer, the whole process was entirely foreign to me. The staff here were top notch and made the process flow smoothly. The prices were awesome to boot! Thank you, Brian -- and the nice ladies (I didnt catch their names) -- for everything. You guys are awesome, and I had a very pleasant experience. Hopefully I will be equally as pleased with my specs once the order comes in. :-)
I’ve always had such a wonderful experience with the staff here! They’re so nice and they get you in very quickly. The doctor is so friendly, and he was great to me and my 7 year old son. An associate, Brian, even called me back to help make getting my contacts as easy as possible!
Had such a great experience here! Not only were they kind enough to squeeze me in last minute, they gave me a discount on my glasses and contacts order! Dr Parmar was quick, efficient, and extremely professional. His staff maintained proper covid-19 protocols and I felt totally safe trying on multiple pairs of glasses as I could see them being disinfected before and after I tried them on. Additionally, everyone was wearing their masks properly (which is so important). As I am from out to town, they helped me get all my items shipped directly to me. Overall one of the best trips to the eye doctor that I have ever had!
The staff members here are so wonderful and the wait times are reasonable. It’s relatively inexpensive (like why would you go to a big fancy optometrist that charges an arm and a leg when this service is better?). When I wanted to try contacts, everyone was very patient and flexible and made me feel comfortable. This is a really great service!
We absolutely love this vision center! Dr. Parmar was very nice and we barely had to wait at all. The exam was quick and the staff there was super helpful with the whole process of picking out glasses. Ms. Rebecca went above and beyond to help us get the best fit and best deal possible for both glasses and contacts. Would definitely recommend this vision center to everyone I know!
Excellent customer service! I Highly recommend them. Ms. Rebecca was extremely helpful and very professional.
The staff there are very kind and respectful. I definitely recommend Dr. Gurinder Parmar, for starters.
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZZZINGGGGG!!! Thank you so much to Rebecca that helped me with getting my glasses. You were so patient with me as we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for the Stanton people to give me my Rx. I will be recommending you to everyone I know!! My glasses are so cute and my vision is great! Barely cost me anything! Again, thank you SO much!!!!
This vision center is great. The employees were very friendly and the service was great. The eye doctor did a great job. I would definitely recommend this place for glasses and contacts.
Worst experience ever at a vision center. Went to drive to pick up contacts but had to wait over an hour to actually pick up contacts I already paid for since no staff was there during opening hours. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
The staff is friendly but their exam is whack. They insist my prescription is correct but Im unable to see the road signs as I drive and it makes me very uncomfortable. Im going to have to get a new exam somewhere else because most of my shifts are evening shifts and driving home in the dark when everything is blurry makes me feel unsafe.
There should be an option to rate this vision center ZERO stars. I had purchased my sons glasses from another Wal-Mart vision center before we were transferred here. I had to argue with the emplorees and manager at this vision center to honor their warranty on the glasses. Finally they agreed...2 WEEKS later NOT hearing from the vision center, I called to see if my sons glasses were in. The lady said they were in so my husband picked them up just before closing. My son puts them on and realizes THEY HAVE NOT BEEN FIXED! They kept my sons glasses he needs FOR school 2 weeks and never fixed them! I could have went ANYWHERE else and gotten new ones by now...which is what I am having to do now!Long story short, DO NOT BOTHER DEALING WITH THIS WAL-MART VISION CENTER! Their customer service is the WORST I have EVER dealt with in a business!
Every time I have called up there or went up there, they are all rude! Then went to get glasses alittle back and the lady wasnt there and said I couldnt get them yet, and I was confused why do I asked and the lady got rude and mad and ended up giving them to me anyways.
Dr. Parmar is great!
I came to pick up my sons glasses and the licensed technician went home early. I specifically spoke to her and she said to come before they closed. Now I cant get my sons glasses until Monday.
