They were really nice and helpful. They put the kayak on my roof rack for me. Then one guy (the owner I think) came over and offered to let me use some kayak straps instead of the ratchet straps I had. He even showed me how to use them. Definitely recommend

I love that they carry Patagonia since its a brand that will last for years. You can tell the quality is excellent when you pour coffee on yourself-- and it wipes right off (lol!). So I was stoked to see Escape Outdoors carrying this brand!The customer service cant be beat either. I called in earlier asking if they had Baggies in stock (they do!). The guy who answered the phone asked me what I needed (how nice!). When I told him I just needed some mediums, he went and looked through their selection for me. Mediums in almost every color! :)It also helps that theres a cool cat that hangs around. My little boys always love seeing him!Just an overall nice store and a fun place to walk around.

My shoe fell apart and they were the closest locally owned place that carried shoes. Grabbed some On Cloud runners 5 min before closing and fell in love with this brand immediately. Nice place with friendly staff

Very chill place with everything you need to kayak, hike, run, and look great while being outdoors! The staff was very helpfu and knowledgeable with products. I would like to see more kid friendly products like cloths, kayaks, shoes, and/or putdoor equipment.

They are very knowledgeable about their outdoor products and they will give you their honest opinion about any product you are interested in. An old wooden cabin motif that makes you feel like you are stopping at a shop in a small town on the way to an outdoor trip like camping, white water rafting, or kayaking. Plus, they have a shop dog which adds to the outdoor feel. Good customer service and helpful staff. The selection of is okay, but good luck finding your size if you find something you like.

I love this store they have the nicest new stuff that you can find nowhere else except for escape Outdoors Ross and T.J.Maxx started trying to sell some North Face stuff here and there but if you want Patagonia and North Face M the newest Salomon shoes are the nicest bikes hats little knick-knack type things for your bicycles are hiking or keeping your waterproof phone they have good discount Sun really nice jackets right now stickers its a One-Stop shop for the hip hiker really nice polite employees highly recommended I will go back best book bags in town

They have a nice store. Always have an animal in there and prices are high but that type of stuff is always priced high.

Great little place

Unfortunately not that pleased with experience in dealing with Escape. I would give them 1/2 a star if I could but will give them 1 since Rental experience went okay, but since then Ive bought 3 Yaks at Academy. Could just be asking to much to expect them to have a bolt on rudder for a yak. Could just be asking to much to expect them to carry Scotty mounts. Could just be asking to much for them to order a Native Titan 13.5 since they were a Native dealer, I thought they were the place. Guess not, since they are not going to carry them in the future. Guess they make their money in rentals and spend their money on the three employees sitting around doing nothing in an empty store. Suggestion, buy any accessories you need off Amazon better to wait a couple days and get what you want than have to pay twice the price here for limited selection. Good place to go if you want a T-shirt or to waste time or want one of their high end Kayaks that they have in the store. Dont expect them to want to sell it to you tho. Suggestion, buy a boat take someone with you. Dont waste your time or money here unless you want to rent, and there are even cheaper options in the area at the Savannah Rapids area.

Good selection of outdoor clothing, but seems to be geared more for style than utility. Nothing wrong with that, it is a retail store. Young female clerk was nice and offered me help picking out Chacos for my wife. Manager just kinda sat at his computer and never looked up to say anything to me at the register a couple feet away from him. No thanks for business or the like. Overall moderate experience, could be much more engaged towards their customers.

Love this store. They switch up inventory often, have exclusive stuff I can’t find anywhere else in Augusta and are reasonably priced.

The employees were extremely helpful, I had no idea what I was shopping for l, just the name patagonia! The staff helped me out fast and effectively, and their knowledge on the latest trends were useful!

I cant say enough, we rented kayaks from this location and they were extremely helpful and professional. The kayak rental was exactly what we were looking for, it was the only place in town I could find that would rent kayaks with a stress free agreement. Our trip started at the head gates/Savannah rapids and ended downtown, the river was a little low but we only had to get out once to get over a mlow section of rocks. The rental agreement was stress free in that they realize that contact between the kayak and rocks is unavoidable when going down the river as long as the damage wasnt major it was all good. They helped load and secure the kayaks to my vehicle and the price was just right for the take any where factor most places I saw had restrictions on where and how you could use their kayaks. Escape outdoors does not as long as you dont destroy their equipment. Pickup and return was quick and easy. I will defiantly rent from here anytime we have another epic kayak trip. Thank you Escape outdoors for being awesome.
