Had cam sensors go out of our 2013 Equinox on Friday at 330pm. We were a long way from home and on our way to a family reunion with our family. Called and Cris found the parts and Dillon stayed and installed the new parts and got us out the door by 4pm!! I’ve been around a lot of dealerships in my 71 years, but none as friendly, understanding, and courteous as Robert’s Robinson! I would highly recommend this business to anyone! UPDATE...We did have an issue that was hard to get resolved but now Robert Robinson has made things right. Chris, at the service desk, has been very helpful and had a great attitude during this whole time. Twice my buick had small warranty issues and besides the one problem I had they have done good job with the repairs. They were clean and timely.Brought our 2017 Buick Enclave in to repair a defective moon roof, about 100 miles before our warranty was up. We dropped the car for repairs but the part they were putting in was defective, so we scheduled another appointment. When we got our car back and my wife noticed a rattling coming from the dash. Turns out the instrument panel had been cracked. We showed this to the service guy Chris when we brought it back in 2 weeks later. He told us those things dont break on their own unless someone was working on it. So we assumed they would repair it since they are the only ones who have worked on it. So we dropped it off again and they fixed the moon roof, but left us with a cracked and rattling instrument panel. They are now claiming that they didnt work around that area and are refusing to help pay for the $500 repair that wasnt needed until they worked on the car. Not to mention in order to access the moon roof you have to remove the A pillars, visors, and screws that are flanking and directly above the now cracked instrument panel. So, yes you had to work in that area and to say you didnt is nothing more than a deception preying on the customers lack of knowledge. Completely frustrated with this dealership, and their complete lack of customer service, integrity, and accountability. They have left me having to foot the bill for a $500 accident, that could only have been caused by one of their mechanics.

Trucks are very hard to find right now but Mary bent over backwards along with her teammates to get this truck to me. They had to make several different deals with other dealers in order to make this happen. Did not think it would but they pulled it off and now I own a nice Chevy truck in this lousy time to buy vehicles.

I like to go to the car dealership about as well as I like to go to the dentist. Roberts-Robinson was such an easy experience for me, that I actually came out a happier person that I went in. I recieved what I paid for and then some. They gave me a FANTASTIC trade in value for my Rouge, found something in my Wants vs. Needs category, and treated me like more than a lady and a customer, they treated me like an OWNER.Aaaaand then came time for the fastest in and out inspection process you have ever seen.When it comes to service, everything has been on point, and when I did have a break down and needed to use my warranty, they were SPOT ON. Everything was spectacularly clean, the people were friendly, again, treated like more than a customer. I WAS AN OWNER. They even helped me arrange all of the assistance I needed to get back and forth from the shop to the Good Samaritan, kept me cool with refreshments while I waited, and had a bad starter fixed in less than 24 hours of it coming in on a tow truck.Aaaaaand then the first oil change and rotation, which was a great deal less money than I expected to pay. Im also working out a few kinks in the truck and the service AND the sales department went waaay out of their way to get these fixed for me. I spent $600+ dollars there minus a $100 with my rewards for an oil change, mud flaps, and a bed liner. I did not was the truck before I took it in because I assumed with a new bed liner and mud flaps they would wash it before adding those things. I picked up my truck and not only had it not been washed it had tape marks from whatever they did with the liner or the flaps not sure and a big splash of white wash on the rear passenger fender. I have pictures of the condition it was in when it was done. Chris in service was nice enough to take a rag and clean off whatever it was spatted on the fender. It wasnt just a small spot. It was not acceptable. I commented to Chris I had not washed the truck before bringing it in but expected it to be clean when I picked it up. If not clean, then not worse.

We just purchased a new Chevrolet Traverse from Roberts-Robinson. This is absolutely our best buying experience in the KC area. We have purchased 2 other cars from 2 other dealerships and each of those expiences was challenging and a disappointment. We had an excellent relationship (5 stars all the way) with Copple Chevrolet in Louisville, NE and have been so disappointed in our dealership experiences in KC. We called to look at a Traverse that had just been delivered. We worked with Chris on our purchase and it went very smoothly. Chris was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. This experience definitely compared to our Copple experiences, we are happy with the buying experience, and we look forward to our continued relationship with Roberts-Robinson. If you are struggling with your own dealership experience I highly recommend giving Roberts-Robinson a try.

Poor job of servicing a vehicle. Not even checking all the fluids. My son had is car there for a waterpump, double the price of anywhere else. Had to do a trans. fluid and filter change on my truck, almost three times the cost of what it actually cost me. Thats not just gouging, thats usery. Roberts-Robinson has lost my business for service and sales!!!

Roberts Robinson was a breath of fresh air compared to the other dealerships we visited! The honest truth is we visited nearly every big dealership in the Kansas City area. Everyone of them were arrogant, unappreciative and made it clear they were only concerned with taking my money. I had several friends in the automotive industry suggest Roberts Robinson and I figured I might as well give them a try. To be honest I wasnt expecting much. With that said I was amazingly surprised! The staff was very considerate. When I talked they listened. When I told them what I was looking for they discussed options. When I stated my budget they didnt try to up sell. If I asked questions they gave me honest advice (even if it meant showing me less expensive options). The salesman I worked with (Monty) was super sincere and it was obvious he cared. Truth is I didnt buy a vehicle that day and he was the only one who didnt make me feel trapped. When I told other dealers I wasnt planning on buying today they implied I was wasting their time, was a inconvenience or a annoyance. Monty made me feel appreciated even when he knew I was only looking. I felt more like a friend or family than a customer. In no way did I feel pressured or obligated. In short dealing with Roberts Robinson was completely different than any other car buying experience. I dont know if its just small town ethics or hiring a sales team that cares. I really was surprised at the night and day difference I had seen. I had heard good things about Roberts Robinson but was sure they were exaggerated. I was definitely wrong! All I can say is that if you are in the market at least give them a try. I am confident you will be as pleased as I am. You will not regret it!

This was the easiest car shopping experience Ive ever had. I called the dealership told them what I wanted and they delivered it the next day! It took me about 15 minutes to fill some paperwork online and it was done. My Chevrolet Equinox is also my new favorite vehicle ever. Its got a lot of room and plenty of power. I haul a lot of stuff and this works perfect for me. Id recommend anyone check out Roberts Robinson before they buy because their prices are more competitive and they treat you right.

We were very disappointed in the service we received. Services we specifically said NOT to do were done. No one called about potential repairs; yet the service person said she had spoken to me (NOT true!). We are leaving on a camping trip on Monday, but were told the mechanic would be back on Tuesday to make further repairs, if necessary; which was no help at all. The experience was very disappointing in every respect, and not what we had come to expect from the dealership.

Paid $288 for a new key fob for my 2016 Chevy Malibu and then was charged 1 hour labor to program the key fob. 3 hours later after leaving the dealership I get a warning light saying that the battery for the key was 0% and then couldnt get in my car. After spending $400 you would think the brand new key fob would last longer than 3 hours.

I bought a used car back in October of 2019 and a over 3 thousand dollar powertrain warranty to go with it. Not even a year later the engine was shot and the warranty that was supposed to cover that part of the car was completely useless. In short I got taken advantage of when I really needed a car and ended up having to go someplace else to get a better car with a better warranty and a better interest rate. I know how small towns work and most of you probably love these guys but Ill never give them my business again and try and deter anyone else in need from going to them.

I took my truck in for a oil change to Roberts Robinson Chevrolet being in a hurry left my wallet on the console in the truck. Service manger took all of my info then provide a ride back to my house. Not needing the vehicle for the day took my wifes car to work when the service manager call the vehicle was ready that afternoon I thought about how I was going to pay realizing that I didnt have my wallet I panicked and remembered it was in the truck with 160 dollars in it credit cards everything!!!!! So when I went to the dealer pick up the truck I stop by it first to get my wallet to my disbelief all of the money cards were there! I went in and paid the bill the service dept had gone home for the day. So the next day I receivced a email about how service work went i waited till today to send to let Robbie and the service manager know how great there employees are trust worthy and honest they are hats off to the people that worked on my truck the service they performed and integrity that they work and live by!!!!! I highly recomend this dealership to everyone. KEEP UP THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL CONTINUE TO TELL EVERY BODY HOW GREAT THE SERVICE IS THERE!!!

Completely unprofessional! I sold cars at several much larger dealerships. These guys have a long ways to go. I wasted 3 hrs of my time and didnt even know who I was working with, or found the price of the car. Some guy with glasses no names mentioned hasnt even told us the price of the car, where the bathrooms where or anything about the place. We left, went to 69 auto up the street and bought a very nice used pickup in less then an hour. At this Robinson dealership your a number not a customer. Sorry for this review just a very truthful warning. Do not shop here. Lots of better dealerships, even in this small town. Good bless and good luck..

Took my car into shop it’s a 2 years old with 40,000 miles. The turbo is leaking coolant and chevy website said turbo is covered in power train warranty. The shop would not fix it and wanted to charge over 1,000$ for a 5$ gasket. Every unsatisfied with the service.

My review is currently a work in progress. In speaking with Brandon in the service department Ive been very pleased. Work is not done yet nor bill paid (shouldnt be to date as why review in progress). This is the first GMC product Ive owned so we will see.I have owned 4 Ford products and racked up over 200k miles on each individually and now venturing out to a GMC-with a new service department. wish me luck. We formed a relationship with Roberts Chevrolet when they were located in Raytown. Unfortunately for us they are now located in Excelsior Springs and McCarthy is within 5 miles of us. I have not been pleased with the service McCarthy provides. I was having issues with my radio in my 2016 Colorado. I was just over 40,000 and was told by McCarthy it would be $100-$149 to even diagnose the problem. I was not happy as I feel a radio should not be having issues after 2 years/40,000 miles. I emailed Mike Robinson at Roberts/Robinson Chevrolet and within 2 hours I had an email from his service manager reaching out to me to schedule a time for them to come get my truck leave me a car and so they could see what the issue was. Found out it was the radio and they contacted Chevy and Chevy said they were willing to replace if I paid $100 deductible. I was happy to do that and have my radio fully functioning again. I praise Roberts/Robinson for the way they treat their customers. They will be getting all my future business even though they are 50 miles away and I have McCarthy within 5 miles of my house. Roberts/Robinson knows how to treat their customers right!

I had to fire VAN Cadillac Chevrolet where I purchased my car. Totally incompetent, rude, and flat out lie to or ignore their customers - from Sales to Service. Ill never go back. Even took their sticker off my car.Im thrilled to have found Roberts-Robinson! Quick, correct and polite. I even happened upon a Roberts-Robinson vehicle elsewhere in the Metro area (probably out getting parts) the truck was driving responsibly, not speeding, not cutting everyone off, etc. Noted and appreciated!
