Outstanding location and selection. Clean store and great employees

Aldi is a great place to stretch your dollar. Most of the products they sell are of the same quality you get at walmart or hy-vee but at a better value. There is one line of products I personally steer clear of though: Mama Cozzis ( or Mama Grossys as I call it.) Up to you if youre brave enough but remember I warned you.

This place has great produce,vegetables and other things at w at better price than some places I will not mention. Id rather shop here then anywhere else.

Nice store with great prices! Would give it more stars if if it would be faster to check out. Seems slightly understaffed, there are 6 checkout lanes and often only 1 person, maybe 2 checking out. If this improves I’ll give more stars.

So happy there is an Aldis up here. Moved from Florida and was worried. Best place for fresh fruits and vegetables

The store is very clean and well organized. Very well stocked too.

Always super clean & everything is always stocked. Meat & cheese selection is always top notch. We like going in every so often to see if there is anything different.

Out of necessity, I needed to get medical advice at the walk in clinic. The office staff is rude and inefficient. I had to wait 9 days for my lab results. There isnt much choice in Excelsior Springs, but I will try someplace different next time.

An ok place to buy groceries

When you are on a budget but dont want to compromise quality or taste then I would highly recommend Aldis. Store is clean and checking out is quick. You do have to bring your own bags or box to box up groceries or you can purchase bags for like 5 cents each. It takes a quarter to get a grocery cart so make sure you have one handy. You do get it back once you bring the shopping cart back. The veggies and fruit are always fresh. Love this place and shop there frequently.

This is my 1# grocery store! Nice new store, neat and clean, with super good prices! Love how you can walk out of here with a cart full of groceries, without spending way too much money!I took off one star because of the produce... it all looks lovely and well stocked, but be aware! Look carefully for mold or “bad spots” before you buy any produce here! Even having done that, their lettuce has disappointed me many a time with its short life span... it’s not worth paying less for it if you have to throw half of it away!

Always very clean. The staff are helpful and nice. There is a veriety of differant foods. They have some good deals weekly. The cheesecake veriety pack is one if my familys favorites. We get all the things we need. They have a nice selection of alcoholic beverages. Wines and more. Meat, cheese, cereal, fruit, breads, and so on. Like most grocery stores. The prices are mostly good. As with most stores there are some higher prices. Hubby likes the chocolates.

We LOVE shopping at Aldi. They have a great variety and so many new items each visit.

This store is so modern and new. The selection is amazing. You never know what you will find. The prices are great. For those with young children the cart has a place for two children to ride and be strapped in. Such an upgrade from the old store.

Great prices. Love the expanded produce department. The frozen food has awesome selections. My only suggestion for improvement is to hire friendlier cashiers. Doesnt seem to matter when I go, what day or time, the cashiers never smile. They act very much like they are doing you a favor by doing their job. If I had to pick one word to describe them it would be surly.

Produce is great! We stock up monthly on other items as prices are fantastic. Staff is always helpful and friendly.

I go here at least once a week and with all the craziness of covid, aldis continues to have great prices and some of the best take and bake pizzas around!

Great, clean store. Ive shopped Aldis a long time. However, I knew prices would raise, being new facility. Still many items are priced well. Love fresh fruits & veggies. Other ones in town have mushy fruit & low quality veggies.

The new store is very nice and clean as it should be. This store is larger than the previous Aldis and has a little more selection on items. The prices on produce in particular are very good.

Great store not expensive has everything I needed. Wish there was one in Richmond, Mo.

We took a pleasant 16-mile drive from Richmond to get to this store. We just moved from Columbia. We were surprised at the full-length non-food aisle.We found the store to be clean except for the oily parking lot out front. Also found the orientation of the parking lot to be inconvenient. If the cars would be parallel to the store, it would be more equitable to the customers.We love ALDI, wish Richmond or Lexington had one.

I dont like Wal-Mart stores,

Quality food. Inexpensive price. Wide selection of fruits and vegetables. Not a lot of added stuff. Nice selection of basic wholesome food

WHY NOT ! Nice new store in Excelcior Springs. Its a grocery store, with a little bit of a few other items, that may save making another stop. Definitely better prices than other stores. They dont have EVERYTHING, but, who does ? Certainly my GO TO for a stock order.

This place is the best grocery outlet in Excelsior Springs. New, clean, well stocked and friendly. Of course its not Walmart with a huge selection of every product, but making a quick trip to pick up a few things will not only be easy, but it will save me a few bucks. Im especially fond of the German themed foods. No doubt it has brought down my food expenses since they opened. I dont mind bringing my own bags. That is what I do wherever I shop.

We like the roominess of this location over the Liberty location but theres a strong smell like manure near where you box up after checking out. Please fix it. Weve mentioned it to the staff.

I absolutely love the new location! Everything is organized and easy to find, the prices beat the local grocery stores hands down (WalMart, Price Chopper), and its never so busy as to be a nuisance to shop and get out. Theres been an Aldis here since I can remember, but Im so glad they decided to expand into a larger store in a new location.

Lots of the fruit and produce is average to below average in quality. However the prices are great. The main problem I have is based on check out. Some of the checkers slam your merchandise into the cart. Ive had bruised peaches, Apples, Avacados, even bread kinda smashed. When I confronted one of these people, they kinda freaked out a little. She said, its how we were trained, to go fast. Well if they trained you to toss merchandise from a foot above a hard metal basket into the bottom, then your training sucks.They have many great deals of food for less cost than Walmart. Some good some bad. The store is a 3 out of 5 in my opinion. I shop there 2-3 times a week. The manager is always on the side of the building smoking, but have a very large policy on how many breaks you get a day.

The old location was much better with more of a selection. The frozen meals section was small and barely stocked. Seems they are reaching out to a higher class than usual.

Some items good some not so good. They use to have eggs fairly cheap, now they cost more than any place else! I saw today they were $2.00 a dozen, I bought a box of 60 at Walmart in Independence, Missouri for $2.40! Produce is always old looking, and most of the time they don’t have the meat that was advertised!

Nice store and friendly checkout people but as far as saving on groceries dont think so. On things my husband and I buy when we go shopping prices have gone UP!!!! Some of my coworkers said they find better bargins at Price Chopper and Wal-Mart.

I think what I like the most is you never know what shell find in there theyre reasonably priced specially vegetables and theres so much cheaper than all the other stores

Never any employees on the floor to assist with questions or help find an item in this new store. Check outs with usually only 1 checker. Yesterday I couldnt find an item, no employee on the floor to ask. So I got in line to check out. The checker asked me if I found everything, I said NO. She then told me where it was located but there were several people behind me in line and I couldnt just go get it and the checker didnt offer to page an employee to go get it and bring it to the checkout out so I paid, bagged my groceries and took them out to my car. I then went back into Aldis and got the item I couldnt find and paid cash for it. As I got to the door I realized I was shorted on my cash. I went right back to the same checker and told her, you shorted me on my cash, I gave you a $20 bill. She didnt even look at my receipt and handed me a $10 bill and said, oh sorry. Ok how did she know she shorted me exactly $10 without looking at the receipt or me telling her??? Shame on you, you will get caught!

Love the size and selection of the Excelsior Springs store. I wished all could be modeled after this one.

Didnt have products I bought 2 weeks ago. Made special trip for these items that has been there for years. I was very disappointed to not even find someone to help. I do like Aldis but just not enough help.

Cheap prices, good selection, fairly easy to find things, good customer service, clean restrooms, and even tho they stay fairly busy their employees usually handle it well. Would definitely recommend it to others and I will go back in the future.
