Hmmm. What can I say all of them are working there are great people they have given me the best solution to any problem that I have had with my motorcycles. And people who are buying there first bikes especially sports bikes please listen to Boss lady and Tamara cuz trust me they have there share of stories and experience. But the best mechanics and the inventory that can be found in Fairbanks Alaska
I bought my first bike there couple years ago and although the sales staff is friendly, I’d buy from somewhere else. I say that because when I go in for parts, 90% of the time the parts staff seem miserable and give you attitude if they are busy. I went in there just for oil and I didn’t know the layout of the store. The girl behind the counter asked what I was looking for and I told her oil so she proceeded to respond it’s on the bottom shelf where it says oil...need a say more? Also when I have asked if they have a part or a new jacket, most of the time their response is “we probably do but it’s in a box in the back and hasn’t been put into inventory. Their mechanics seem pretty knowledgeable but don’t expect a quick turn around time. I fully understand the summers can be busy but to take 3+weeks just to diagnose an issue seems excessive, specially when they don’t find any issue at all after a quick 5 min ride. Most of my buddies deal with Northern Power and have nothing but good things to say about them or even the motorcycle shop in Anchorage. I remember when I bought my bike through the fun center and they didn’t even seem to care as they were just sitting around waiting for a response from 1 bank vs trying to get in touch with other banks (which they eventually did) after I asked if we could use other banks. The sales staff don’t seem that knowledgeable as well as they were trying to convince me and my other buddy who rides that the R6 is no longer made and you can’t even order them. This was in 2019 before they were discontinued the following year. They also said certain bikes are sold and they won’t be getting anymore, yet a week later they have the same models new on the floor.Rant over
Whew! Don’t tell em you “saw it on Amazon for half the price…” or they’ll promptly hang up the phone with you. There are far better deals out there folks, so do your due diligence.
Excellent service they were friendly and allowed me to check out each bike before I decided which one I wanted and they made the buying process simple. Ill more than likely come back for my next bike as long as its got what im looking for.
Tamara is awesome! Very friendly and laid back! My husband just bought his new motorcycle and he loves it! Great place to go to! Check it out!
Amazing shop, great inventory even during Covid. Entire sales process was amazing - ask for Tamara
Great customer service. Up front and cares about getting you what you want. Gabriele knows her stuff when it comes to 4 wheelers.
Purchased new bike yesterday. The ladies were friendly and a riot to hang out with for a few hours, while paperwork got straight. They went out of their way to get me a good deal. The maintenance team was quick and friendly checking my old bike and going over the new one with me. Great family business
I went in looking to buy a bike. I left looking to buy a bike somewhere else. I wasnt welcomed in the shop, and when I asked about a specific bike I wanted the manager told me it was almost impossible to order it and even if they could get it, I would have to take it in whatever color it was due to Yamaha supply issues. They were very persistent on telling me they couldnt get me what I wanted. I went straight to the other motorsports shop in town and placed an order for the exact bike and color I wanted.
Walked up to the door, they were locked. Open sign was on and someone walked by the door and didn’t acknowledge me standing outside.
My wife and I bought an ATV from there. Everyone was extremely friendly And helpful. We are really happy with our purchase. No one was willing to haggle with the price and that was disappointing, however at the end of the day we are both satisfied with the level of customer service and our purchase.
Save your time and money and go somewhere else
Bought a brand new Kawasaki Brute. Before we got it home the front right tire was flat. When I called the lady made me feel like I was lying and did it even though I had literally not took it off the trailer. They fixed it. Now the back tire is flat. Less than 2 miles on it🙄 Dont even wanna call because it’s just more trouble than it’s worth. Go to northern power sports. Absolutely wonderful customer service and a military discount that’s not made up with fees.
I came here to buy fairings for my 2012 zx6r because I was told they were the only licensed Kawasaki dealer in the area. They didnt seem to know which fairing I wanted based on the multiple clear pictures I was showing of the fairing on the bike. They seemed to solve it and ordered what they thought was the fairing I wanted. After it arrived I saw that it wasnt the one I needed. I requested a return and was told that they wouldnt return it because it was a special order. I now have a fairing I dont need, am out the money that fairing costs if I cant return or resell it, and it was not my mistake. I reccomend ordering parts online if possible, to avoid getting orders screwed up and losing money.
We bought our machine here which they were awesome to deal with, then came in to have some work done on it and service guy didn’t want to explain what was done to my machine just wanted me to pay for it. And the Maintanice guy said my battery was low but I looked over the counter and read the work order upside down and there was a brand new battery on the order which the service guy was pushing for me to pay for, before going over it with me, ( older guys that wears glass is who I was dealing with and SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL). Needless to say if I didn’t notice it I would have pay for a brand new battery and it never go out in my machine. For service I will definitely be going some where else from here on. I was looking at by another toy from them but I will definitely be taking my business somewhere else.
Excellent service, great pricing, best mechanics in town.
My experience with buying my bike was good. But I also walked in with full intentions of walking out with a new bike. And i did.But when It came to the first 600 mile maintenance, I was left disappointed. The lady at the parts desk was very nice and this doesnt reflect on her... but, they did not do half of what the owners manual requires for that maintenance interval. All they did was look it over, change the oil, and lube the chain as per the receipt. And when I got home I discovered that the engine was WAY over filled with oil (and I mean WAY over filled). I had to dump it all out and refill with new oil. Then go and grease my swing arm (since they did not) and I still need to do the valve adjustments (since they did not) all requirements for the 600 mile maintenance according to the factory owners manual. Now, to be fair, I did not go back and give them a chance to fix all this. I just dont want them to touch my bike again.
Cant say enough good things about the service I got from Dave. I was traveling from out of town and needed a new rear tire. They had my size and got me on the books to change it on my schedule. Reasonably priced. Quality work. Excellent customer service.
Had my KLR serviced there and bought a tire, helmet and bag. They were very helpful and got me in quickly as I was on a trip. Kinda expensive (it is Alaska) but I would recommend anyone in in the area to use them. Also on the trip home the bag zipper failed and Alaska fun center bent over backward to get a sales receipt sent to a local dealer to help make the warranty replacement easier.
Great selection of motorcycles and great people
Waste of time, I understand you have all of fairbanks to service, & your not a new establishment so you should be well oiled; pun intended. I had brang my ATV in for a simple, super fast, not technical, almost easier than an oil change -Valve adjustment. It sat in the lot for 72 hours in the rain not covered and never moved. After seeing it for 3 days in the same spot driving by I just opted to do the repair myself. Surely I lack the knowledge but thats what youtube is for. If they could not find the 1-Hour to service my ATV and make an outrageous $125 or more than they surely are better off and dont need my money. Or, what i suspect is they have a terrible coordination scheme, if they truly only do repairs on a first come first serve basis, that makes little sense. You could have 3 or 4 vehicles needing parts, holding up the que, or you can have an area for quick service and reliable techs. If you dont mind leaving your vehicle to sit for a week or longer, than sure, go to them. But if you live in Alaska and know that the seasons are short and time is crucial, do it yourself youll be happier. Also I had them order a part, its been a week and no delivery yet. I ordered the part myself for 70$ less on Ebay and got it yesterday. Do they even place the order when you ask?!?
Had my side by side serviced and they did a great job. When I asked about the used 4 wheeler that was SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS OVER the NADA avg retail price they told me thats the Alaska price... whatever. Ill take my Alaska money and spend it elsewhere.
Knowledgeable staff provided details of each bike I was interested in without pressuring me to make a purchase. I fell for a KLR650 as my second bike and they worked with me to tailor the bike to my riding style. Easy going, always smiling, and very current on the ever-changing two-wheeled world. Highly recommend picking their brains before purchasing any bike as the staff is well-versed, via a lifetime of riding, in all things two-wheeled (and four-wheeled, and tracked). Cant wait for the often sought-after H2.
Been there a few times. Parts people are nice to deal with. 2 of the ladies, i believe the owners daughters, were very nice to me. I also talked to the owner once. Pretty nice guy. The sales guys on the other hand....RUDE. Thought about buying a new ATV so i stopped by. The sales guy know nothing about the ATV I was looking at. When i ask him a question about the ATV him coped an attitude.Shouldnt you know about the product your selling?? Needless to say I bought a ATV at another place. So, about a year later I went in there with my brother. He needed parts for his Yamaha. While he was getting his parts i was looking at the new sleds to kill the time. A sales guy asked me if i need any help. Being nice, i told him i was not in a position to buy right now. He kinda got pushy about selling one. I told him i was just looking for now. He responded with a serious attitude, and i quote, well its a good thing we set these out for you to just look at then. I told him thats a great way to get customers, as i walked off. How do they sell anything??
Went recently for my first time and will not go there again. Ridiculous prices for one, but I would forgo that if at least they had any customer service. The employees were so unprofessional and stand offish. Do kids really need to be running around like they are in a day care, such a weird bad vibe...
Just bought a 2017 klx 140L. Tara was so helpful and patient with me for my first bike experience. Highly recommend her. Not as much to pick from as Northern but much cheaper.
Nice folks
Great shop run by a local family! Very helpful and nice. Love my dirt bike purchased there!
This place is like the owner excellent really clean good atmosphere good customer service if they dont have it theyll get it for you the repair shop whats the quickest on getting back my vehicle I give this place two thumbs up
Ive come in to this place twice. One guy both times at least asked if I needed help with anything or had been helped, but the person helping me wasnt very helpful or patient and no one else would help me.Overall, the 2 sales people at the registers seemed pretty rude and rushed and pretty unprofessional, yelling at whom I assume to be are their children.I hate to wait around quite a while and what I was looking for was finally located in a book to order but I wasnt assured that it was actually what I needed, but no refunds are possible for special orders so I had to think about it. I wasnt allowed 2 seconds to think and she was gone and I waited a while (at least 10 minutes) and she didnt return and when I asked about her they said she was tied up.So I called later and asked to pay over the phone because I decided I wanted to order it. I was put on hold for about 12 minutes (fair enough, it was hard to locate it in the system and they did find it), but couldnt assure me it was the right product and again wasnt willing to give me 3 seconds to think about it. I called back maybe one minute later when I made my decision and the person helping me had apparently left the building.Im just going to risk ordering it online because at least those accept returns and all the hassle will be on me.Also the store is overall overpriced and I dont think Ill be coming back.
Great local shop. Family owned and operated. Been shopping there for over 16 years.
I found a 2006 Yamaha grizzly 660 for a good deal its not a bad place to shop for a nice 4-wheeler
The only way to do business is with AFC I just bought my 636 from them brand new great prices... They are truly amazing.
Everyone was very helpful! We got our new bikes and everything processed with ease. TEAM GREEN
Great customer service as soon as I walked in and as I walked out with my new rig!! Very knowledgeable about each product they had. Tamara was awesome!!!
Good people good service
The lady working parts is extremely rude for absolutely no reason.
Quoted me over 450 dollars to rebuild forks, forks can be bought over the internet for 300, but still charged me 99 dollars just to get my forks back. I recommend you go to northern power sports.
They take good care of long distance motobike travelers.Good service.
After 3 tries the parts guy finally found the correct brake pads for a klr650 after selling me the more expensive and incorrect pads. Place seems to be full of idiots. Can only imagine what having something worked on here would be like.
Lots of inventory and awesome sales staff!
The employees dont give you the time of day unless you are buying a new rig. Turned down a good deal on a KLR simply so I wouldnt have to go here for parts and service.
Good, helpful, respectful, and just all around naledgable family folks.
The black haired lady was flirting with my husband while we were Just trying to load up his motorcycle, She even tried to give her number to him and Offered to have someone drive the motorcycle home, the whole situation was very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
You couldn’t find a more family oriented business than this. Great people.
Nice shop and showroom but the staff are not so friendly.
Great experience with our purchase, no issues with staff!
One star. Because Im still waiting for my atv parts since a month and half ago like what the heck is going on...
JUST dont have Gabriella, curly black haired lady, help you!I was having such a great experience until this woman got involved. She made me feel like my $8000 I was dropping on a new bike wasnt worth her time because she wanted to go home on time.. If you wanna go home, just GO home. Dont sully my experience with your rude service and then degrade one of your own associates IN FRONT OF ME because shes DOING her job in customer service... Definitely never going to recommend this place to anyone just because of her. The sad part is I think shes the office manager.. Sad to see someone like you in that kind of position...
Offers a Kawasaki military rebate $250 off any Kawasaki model - available to all Retired, Active and Reserve military!
Not very organized. When you ask about a price several people look it up and they all tell you a different number and cant agree on a final price. Very expensive place as well.
They got us fixed up and ready to go right away. Friendly, hometown feeling to this shop. Wish I had more time for more toys.
Service department staff was helpful and knowledgeable
Employees are rude and have an attitude when you ask for an update on your status of your loan, then lie to you about when Your able to get your product.
The staff here is amazing!
Knowledgeable Service and Parts
This place should be shut down as the entire staff are very unprofessional. The parts manager Brian was a complete idiot I would be surprised if he new the difference between a spark plug and an oil plug. The place is very run down and looks like nobody cares about the building or facilities.
Knowledgeable staff.
Got deal on the bike.... Nuggets said
Free coffee, friendly staff, lots of toys to look at.
Their good
Horrible service!
They are terrible
