I’m glad I found out about this place from a friend❤️ A man answered and he was full of energy and you can tell he’s a very good coworker who communicate very well, he make sure that you got everything before you bring your car in. And the lady in front desk was very kind, she make sure that your comfortable and even made coffee for those that’s waiting on their car.. good staff and good price, they’ll put a smile on your face once you walked in…definitely RECOMMEND THIS PLACE❤️❤️ I’m gonna come back whenever I wanna get my tires change.

The place was very disorganized and was very short-staff. There was a 3hour wait due to staff not showing-up on time. After tires were installed, because they are rushing with the work, the worker forgot to put air in the tires. Spent 3hours waiting, $1,190.00 without offer of apologies or discount. I would not recommend the place.

We came in from out of town to North Pole and somehow got nails in the tires of our two vehicles. Giant Tire made the time to fit us in during our time of need and had us in and out and back on the road, within the hour. Best service in FAIRBANKS!! I love this place (if you can love a tire store). Super chill attitude. Everyone has a can-do spirit. They just get it done and want to help get you back on the road. They will sell you a used tire if that is all you need. No pressure. They dont nickle and dime you but just quote you a price for getting the job done. They have a very alaskan attitude with I really appreciate. This place is all about getting you the right tires and wheels for your working rig.. not looking pretty.

They were pretty quick with the work but the lady was grumpy at first then she apologized. Ill go there again for my tire needs.

Called a day earlier for availability and price.Drive an hour and a half. Got charged $100 more per tire.I called 4 places that day. Took careful notes on each.Totally feel like it was a bait and switch! I Wasnt informed until I had waited an hour for my turn. 2 acres of used tires and she wanted to charge me for tire disposal.

No need to go anywhere else in town for tires. They have a great selection. A friendly staff who actually cares about the well-being of their customers. Reasonably priced. And inconvenience themselves willingly to bend and comply with customer needs. Great staff great business. I will be returning for years to come.

If you need a tire swap done and you cant wait 3 weeks for an appointment, Giant Tire is one of the best places to go to. They will get you in at the earliest convenience and the people who do your tires are good at their job. They dont make rookie mistakes that leave you driving home with a flat.The only real pain point is the convenience fee: You have the convenience of having your product or service in a timely manner, but youre paying substantially more for it.

This place was awesome and quick. I just showed up this morning after having slipped and slided my way around for the past week trying to find some place to put on my winter tires. I couldnt get an appointment anywhere... I walked in to Giant Tire at 10 and was out of there by 1030. The lady at the front desk was pleasant and the service was exceptional, Ill definitely be coming here for all my tire needs.

The guys at Giant Tire were awesome I originally went to a different shop when I first got here and was turned away because they couldnt do what I needed safely which was just change my TPMS on one wheel and recalibrate it. Mind you I have 33x12.5 on a 20x12 wheel the other shop said it was stretching my tire. But when I ended up finding Giant tire on google and decided to give them a shot. The guys over at Giant Tire had no issue doing that for me, although the new TPMS I ordered wouldnt calibrate to my truck he offered to try and put the old one back in and maybe see if it was just the previous installers fault. Sure enough that was the case, he did double the work than he had to which I felt bad about but they are an honest shop and as long as theyre around they have a customer for the next 3 years! Thank you for such honest work thats really hard to come by nowadays.

Charged me $160 to put my new tires on rims. They did not tell me they decided to charge me that much untill after they had already changed the tires otherwise I would have gone to GCR. The reasons they stated was because I had bought the tires new somewhere else. Last year I had ordered new tires and brought them to giant tire and was only charged $60 ( thats why I didnt ask how much before hand ). I dont know if I just looked like a mark this time or what. They have lost my business permanently and I have been changing tires with them for 10 years now. They do a good job but will apparently rip you off if you dont cover your bases before the tire change.

$160 for a tire swap. Wont be back

American tire and auto gave false info. Leading me to believe I’d get my tire changes not to mention they were rude called American tire and they flat out said they didn’t have time. Called Giant tire welcomed to over and had my car pulled back within 15 minutes after arriving and not to mention it was cheaper. I would give 10 gold stars if I could. EVERYONE was so nice and professional. Thank you 🙏🏽 I really appreciate the fantastic customer experience.

WalMart charged $370 for the wrong tires last night and luckily caught it before the install.However, I arrived at 7:30 and they called me at 11:30 and I made another trip to exchange them and they didnt have the right ones.So I called giant tire and they had 2 used ones that matched the other three that I had for 100 bucks each+ $75 for the install. So $ 275.00 total & its local.

Visited Alaska for first time. My car had a tire with an unusual problem. Another more popular and fancy tire shop in the city told me nothing and nobody could fix that problem, only solution was to purchase and install a new tire, close to $300. Fortunately, I visited Giant Tire and they said, no problem we will fix it, total was $50, tire has been flawless since then.

Excellent business. They do quality work at an affordable price with great customer service. I have been a customer for years and I go to them with all my tire needs. No complaints!

Awesome service! I called to see if they had my trailer tire size in stock I needed a rim as well. They called me back not even 30 minutes later saying it was being put together and to come pick it up. In and out of the store in less than 5 minutes. Very friendly and fast service

Wouldnt waste my time here, called for a quote on a specific tire listed on their website... did not receive initial quote rather was pushed towards another tire I didnt want, upon telling them I did not want that tire and asking about a 2nd option seen on their website. Was not helped really, as I still do not know what the tires I had requested prices on go for, but they were more than happy to sell me $790 of tires that dont match my needs.

Awesome customer service! Went in to get winter tires put on my rig. Didnt even have to drop it. They got it in right away and I was out of there in just over an hour with the new tires put on. The lady at the front desk is super friendly. Theyll be my go to for anything tie related from now on.

THE WORST FRONT DESK COSTUMER SERVICE. I’m a FBX/NP local and always try to support local companies, even though the wait time is longer than most and the price is a bit more I still chose Giant Tire. On Saturday I had an emergency and needed to get a set of tires ASAP. Was put on hold for 23 minutes (more like on speaker because I could hear everything) than was hung up on. When i called back the representative basically said they could not help because they close in 7 minutes. During the 23 minutes i was on hold, tires could have been confirmed In stock, purchased and picked up. I takes a lot to stop supporting a local business ive used many times in the past so with that said I will not be using their services again.If you want to be put on hold and have to wait in a dirty kinda stressful lobby area choose Giant Tire.

Went to Wal Mart to have my tires changed. Left with no tires changed and one striped lug nut. Drove to Giant tire and was taken right into the bay. Got the striped lug nut off and was very fast at changing all four tires. Also very friendly. Five stars by far.

I had two flat tires and damaged rims, I was pulling my hair out with stress and they saved me both of the rims when I thought I was going to have to get new ones and not to mention quite a bit of money. Going to be going to this place exclusively with any tire problems in the future. Stellar service, quick and efficient and noticeably good prices!

These guys helped me out in a pinch! Nobody else in town carried the tire that I needed when one of mine could not be fixed. They took the time to find me a used tire that will work for my situation until my new tire can come in. They were fast, courteous and affordable. Bonus points: theyre in an out of the way location, but they had great signage to help me find it!

I came in a week ago with a flat. They fixed my flat, checked the pressure and adjusted the PSI in all my tires and sold me some center caps for a great price. The flat repair held and I wanted to leave a good comment. Very nice people.

I picked up a small bolt in my tire, in the center of the tread. Another shop recommended I replace it (found while diagnosing another issue), but I took it to Giant and they put the smallest combo patch in it. I got an additional 15k miles out of those tires. Always go to a legit tire shop, not a do-all operation.

My main tire place for summer & winter change overs. Kind of what you expect from an old family owned tire shop but in a good way of course. Straight forward, quick, harding guys and ladies.I remember the first time I went to these guys was around winter change over, every place was booked. I was sitting at walemart only to be told sorry were only taking ONE WALK IN TODAY. Even though they had 2 hours before their next appointment. Also I was waiting another hour to get some tires. I asked the lady about them, told me they had them in stock and she disappeared. Didn’t see her or the tires that day. I head on over to GT after a quick phone call, checked in. In and out with new winter tires. Even with a huge line of people in front of me.

These guys never let me down, have been going to them for 6 + years now and wouldnt dare think to go anywhere else for my tire needs!

Rude and long wait i bought 4 new tires from them which usually when you buy tires mount and balance is included not here they charged me 310 dollars after buying the 1500 dollar tires that i had to wait 4 hours the next day for them to finish

My freind just bought tires from them on Tuesday. By Thursday her tires were no longer holding air. We took one to a shop to get fixed and they informed us that they would not be able to fix it and that it was a safety hazard as far as tires go. Then they informed us all 4 tires were needing to be changed. One had a huge bubble in it the other 3 had cracks all over. The other tire place charged 50 dollars more for 4 BRAND new tires and instalation included. The folks at giant tire came up with excuse after excuse they felt that they were in the right. It was ridiculous. The only thing they did right and ethically is give her a full refund after some long convincing and complaining. They are trashy and money hungry... who sells a 13 year old tire to a woman who shows up with 3 kids?

I came with some unbalanced tires and they quickly balanced them. It was super affordable too.

A perfect visit....had dry rotted tires, went there for an inspection. A half hour before closing time, they squeezed me in to replace them. Very pleased...

I went there for the first time last week, they messed up when they put one of the tire on the rim and now my tire is destroyed. Now, they refuse to buy a new one because another garage looked at our tire. They said they would see what they can do.We dont have money to buy more tires and I am very upset that they would not take responsibilities for their mistake.Also, the day I went there, three of the mechanics did not show up for work and one other came in and was complaining about doing all the work and pretty much acted like a kid.I heard a lot of good things about them. I am just very disappointed.

Im not much of a fan. I bought a tire for my truck at at Sams club but changed my mind as I wanted a bigger one and lost the recite.Took it to these guys, they offered me 20$ it still had the sticker. Took my chance at bringing it back to Sams, they were able to look my account up and did a full refund of $150
