Go to place for almost everything you need. Items go low stock pretty often and gets restocked, I guess, every week. For Asians, theres not much choices for Asian goods. Prices for household items are reasonable. Staff are very helpful.

I went in late as usual, and had to be in a hurry, stuff is easily found so it works out. Friendly and helpful team members overall good experience .

The staff in electronics is always friendly and helpful. Supervisor Alana and her girls at customer service should take a page from them. I find it odd the the customer service department is not very experienced or knowledgeable about customer service. I have 15 years of experience and wouldnt ever treat a customer of mine the way they treated me.

The 5 stars is for Charis. Were not sure which department she works under but she was the first employee we found to ask for help from.She went out of her way to locate a merchandise for us in the warehouse as we really really wanted the item. She came back to us several times to let us know why it was taking her awhile. She explained that she found the item but the only problem was that the box was sitting at the very bottom and there were other boxes stacked on top of what we wanted. So it was taking her awhile as she was having to maneuver the other boxes.This is the first best experience we ever got from an employee there. Her service was top notch! We thanked her over and over when she came out with the item on a flat bed cart. So again, THANK YOU CHARIS!!!

Dont shop here if you plan to use cash, as this store penalizes customers who use tangible cash and not a debit card. Took over 30 minutes to check out in a regular line. Zero 10 items or less lines and every single one of their PoS self checkouts are card only. American money doesnt spend here without repercussions.45 effing minutes to buy dish soap, what a joke.Dont shop here. Go to Fred Meyers in AK for a better experience.

Northernmost Walmart in the world. So thats kinda cool. Only issue we had was, they dont sell winter gloves. Very odd...with winter approaching...in Alaska...I dont get it.

Walmart is a great place. The Subway in the store is NOT clean. Dont eat there. Flies are everywhere in that room. But the rest of the store is great.

It’s just a store, nothing bad about it. You can also find various good deals, even on things like tablets, especially Android ones.

Filled subscription which went well. Bought Halloween candy at a good price. Used self checkout with no problem.

I was baffled by their limited warm weather clothing and boot options in October. I asked if they had any gloves to replace the ones I ripped and after a moment the associate said she didnt see any winter gloves. Not a jacket in sight. They had an Alaska gift shop section but even that was a joke.

Neat and clean. Plenty of room in isles to walk. Well stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables! Great place to shop for almost anything!

There are dozens of power outlets across from the front of the store at the end of the parking lot. Nearly 100 posts in all. Ideal for RV or car camping overnight. Very cool.

Theres a lot of stuff that says online its in stock, but when you order it the say they cant find it. Sometimes I have to find it for them. But great prices and decent variety and selection for Fairbanks.

Its a Walmart, you pretty much know what youre going to get BUT The staff were very friendly the bathrooms are clean. This was the first Walmart Ive ever parked my rv overnight. I felt safe and it was a good sleep. Thanks!

Average Walmart really tailored to the Alaskan lifestyle. Would recommend you check out the kayaks, youll save money in the long run buying one here rather then 30 bucks every weekend.

Their clearance items often arent correct when you go through checkout, so pay close attention because if you lose the clearance tags theres no fixing it. Employees are a mixed bunch, some are really nice and professional while some are rude and obviously dont want to be there. This walmart still harasses to check receipts going out the door, which is a massive pain in the butt with children & legally you can say no -thats why they have cameras if they are concerned.

Walmart has a inventory of about everything you need in a one stop place, except for the one thing I needed. But then again, no other place in Fairbanks had the camera battery I needed either.

The card lady is straight up crooked. My 14 son woke up at 5:30 waited 10 hours for her today and she showed up at 3 and said no cards today but theres always cards when certain people are there. Coincidental? I dont think so, SHADEY!!! Shes getting her pockets lined for sure. Im going straight to Wal-mart corporate to the distributors what ever it takes. This is just the the start. Social media, emails, phones calls whatever it takes. Its sad I feel for all the kids in this town and across the entire US I wont stop posting till shes replaced.

Many cleared out shelves and empty bins. May have been due in part to Memorial Day weekend. But disappointing that common items are simply sold out. Super Center indeed. I felt like it was a quarter mile from the grocery section at one end to the garden supply at the other end. Hugh!

Grossly understaffed, and the one associate who was at customer service was too busy flirting with a customer to be bothered to help my Mother and I at self check-out, until I flagged her down. I called before coming down it was after the money center had closed I had called and verified that customer service to add money to my card and when I got there the guy told me that it could only have a certain amount and I confirmed if it was less than 300 I could add it he said yes and I said okay well I want to ask you a hundred and he said well I dont feel comfortable so they basically made me drive down there for nothing

Moderate amount of registers open. As always, there are many items out of stock. Employees were stocking, but its very inconvenient when they have so many pallets blocking center aisles that you cant cross. Overall, typical Walmart. Good selection.

This Walmart is a supercenter and is quiet huge.You can find everything here. It is on Johansen expressway and has a huge parking lot. Well maintained and organized. The staff are also friendly.

For a walmart, its pretty nice, i mean clean, well managed and the curbside pickup integrated to the app seems to work really well! Got LED Christmas lights which is fun for me.

So did a Walmart pick up order called to check in talked with an employee named David, then preceded to wait for about 30 mins or so and another customer called and let them know I was still waiting and finally about 10 more minutes I got my basketball hoop that I bought for my kids. So David I just wanna say you suck...

I’m a driver that brings produce from Washington state to Alaska, get treated poor. Wait hours to find someone to unload the truck. Very poor service. Really rude receiver ruhn said he’d rather go take a good dump then waste his time unloading.

A pretty nice Walmart to go to. There is everything that you need and the aisles are bigger than normal, so getting around people when the aisles are full is no problem at all. The prices are probably some of the cheapest you can find in Fairbanks for groceries. If you are visiting from somewhere else, by the way, the prices for items in Alaska are going to be a bit more expensive than you are used to. I would recommend shopping here because this Walmart keeps prices low among high prices.

Customer service is exceptional.

I go there alot to people watch. Not in a creepy way. There are people from all walks of life there. Many of them foreign. And they more than likely have what you need.

I dont go to Walmart but had to pick up items for work. I was in a pick up area and their site was down so I ended up going in the store. When the employee came out she acted like I had the plague or something.

Not many cashiers working and a lot of the self check outs dont accept cash. other then that great selection in variety and prices

I’m rating the bakery of Walmart. I cannot believe I’m rating them a five. Today is 15 years since I lost My daughter. So I went into Walmart bakery. Lady was busy doing a big birthday order. To my surprise or some sort of coincidence she was working in Winnie the Pooh and tigger cupcakes. With edible picture of Winnie the Pooh. Exactly what i was looking for that day. My daughter died at the age of eight years old. She loved Pooh, tigger and eeyore. I got the tattoo on my arm. The lady was so nice, she stopped what she was doing when I asked about the Pooh picture I saw on her computer monitor. She made me a edible picture for cake I choose and wrote on it for me. That was so nice. Since I rate Walmart in general low, for their bad customer service and empty shelves in some areas. But I’m so thankful for the bakery and the time they took to help me.

Its a Walmart. Produce is decent and food selection is on point. There are some parts of the store that seem understocked but Im sure that is due to the location.

Its WalMart. In Alaska. A lot was out of stock or very low stock, but that isnt surprising. Nothing great, but it isnt bad.

Cant rate it any lower but this is one of the worst Walmarts out there. Cant speak on the customer side, as Ive been banned from the store due to a personal grudge on the store managers side, however, as an associate, this is a great place to work if you love managers blackmailing people, covering up domestic abuse, having sex with everyone they arent supposed to, and making illegal alcohol sales. I personally cant wait for this place to get shut down.

Less a store and more of a compound. Probably worth going to a smaller store so you dont wear out your shoes walking through this one.

Entries are still divided into in and out. Makes getting in and out a little bit of an effort. All else was very pleasant.

We recently moved to North Pole, AK so I ordered online for pick up as Im used to. The service was great. They loaded the car and we were on our way quicker than it took us to get to the store because of the snow. Prices are pretty reasonable even though we now live in AK. Some differences to UT but not that many.

Well, I went to Alaska on holiday, you know just as a little snowy get away a couple months ago, and I just want to say when I arrived to this Walmart everything was made out of nerf foam, the first thing I noticed was the floor, I stepped in and it just bent underneath me, so I thought, that’s weird, why is the floor like a trampoline but won’t bounce, I keep walking to the shelves just blaming this on my paranoid schizophrenia, makes me hallucinate sometimes, and as soon as I reach them the cans of tomatoes are made of nerf foam I go to leave and then realise that I’m made out of nerf foam. I go to the nerf isle, plastic, all of it, I assume this is some kind of quantum paradox corrections enacted by physics still unknown to us, mostly I’m just really disappointed that they locked me in the bathroom for 12 years while sliding Burger King under the stalls also I maybe am feeling like burning down a building what I got sidetracked help help help help

Its a convenient spot to grab anything I need i prefer locally owned stores but I get off work late and this place is usually open til I believe 11.

I mean its like any Walmart. Usually pretty decent but I happend to purchase a product and of course it was not in the appropriate spot. So when I went to check out of course it was a different price than when I had picked it out the aisle...oh well?

Only good thing about it was the ONE employee that actaully helped us...Not going back. ABSOLUTELY DREADFUL I WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. I WILL NEVER RETURN AND WILL INFORM OTHERS TO LIGHT THERE MONEY ON FIRE BEFORE CONSIDERING GOING TO WALMART.
