Always busy, but being that this is the only warehouse store in town (I think) it makes sense. Usually the staff is friendly and helpful. Although there was one time when the cashier was treating us as if she was doing us a favor. She did not greet us even though we said hi. She was serious, not friendly and she did not make eye contact. Maybe this had nothing to do with it, but she was in high heels, which surprised me for the length of time they have to stand at the register. However, if she can handle it no problem there. We were not sure whether she was having a bad day or if that was her personality. Either way, her attitude made us uncomfortable. Since then if we see her, we just go to another register. Hard to tell with customer service positions and with the little time we spend with them if it was a one time thing or that is how she treats their customers. Other than this one time, the staff is usually friendly and helpful.

Fairbanks Costco (Tire Center), has come though once again and was able to special order my snow tires and install them without issue.They did this a year ago and today was no different. While the staff needs from desk help BADLY during snow tire season, Amanda in particular, has been exceedingly helpful, has amazing customer service and has gone out of her way to make sure everything went smoothly - she’s a rock star!!!.While there are other tire centers locally, the prices seem competitive to me and again, their customer service has always been the best!Just know that with an understaffed front desk, you will have to wait longer than expected, but they will treat you well and get you in and out as quickly as possible. A good store to stock up on supplies so that you dont have to go to the store often. Their products are good quality and low prices definitely make purchasing a membership worthwhile. I have their credit card which takes place of the membership card and gives a good return on purchases. They have great seasonal items, clothing, house supplies, and pharmacy section, to name a few. Their food court prices are very good. They also have a gas station and tire center.

Costco is a great place to stock up on supplies for big families, or not. You sure save on buying bulk foods and household supplies. Staff is so friendly in each department and always so helpful. The summers are so hot here in Fairbanks, they got a great selection of fans to choose from. Thankful to have them!!

Fair prices, good organization, nice staff, make sure everyone wares gloves, the system and how they operate was awesome. Sometime out of stuff and sell some rotten stuff (well it wholesale) you better look and choose the good one.

Julia at the customer service desk was very friendly, knowledgeable and quick. The store is clean, organized and well stocked. The check out staff was also friendly and quick.

Smaller than the Costcos Im used to. Even more limited selection. However, good values, good products, lots of helpful staff. Well worth the trip.

My Visa card had been recently defrauded, so I had it cancelled and my bank is shipping me a new card. On a side note, as a law enforcement officer I despise Visa, they do not readily cooperate with law enforcement even at cardholder victims request.I didnt even give it a second thought when I went to Costco for a few items. Everyone else takes Discover (who, by the way, are exemplary on helping us catch thieves) so why wouldnt Costco?Apparently they have a killer deal with Visa, because even their ATMs dont take Discover; which came as a surprise to their employees.So, in the interest of not facilitating a semi-criminal organizations (Visa) activities, sounds like Im done with Costco.Two huge thumbs down.

Went to return a box of knives and the return people were fantastic about it. Found out that out of 4 boxes of knives, only 1 had the knives in it. Very happy with thi store ☺

My first time back since Sams club. I feel like there is likely a system to what seems like the madness of finding where things are, and I feel like the issues had were with the shopper not the store. Great prices and availability.

Always helpful people. Not a fan of them changing the floorspace constantly, but I understand why they do it. It makes it difficult to get in and out easily which is why I dont go there all the time. The other side is that they usually have exactly what Im looking for, and the people working there are great. That more than makes up for my minor irritation!

Pretty sad they wont allow a non member in the building before purchasing a membership. Im new to the area, so I dont know any members to tag along with, and have spend most of my life in small towns with no Costco. I asked if I could walk around and check out the place before signing up and was told no, this Costco doesnt do that, but they could see if a manager was available to escort me around for a few minutes.......

Its just like any other Costco but it is my favorite place for produce. Some things are hit or miss but all in all it is where I do the majority of my grocery shopping.

Great place to get things in an abundance!Due to the virus however, currently they are low supplied and are limiting items. Id recommend getting a Costco card.

Great prices. Forgot to take photo of food court menu, but March 2021 pizza is pepperoni or cheese. Regular frozen yogurt or Sundae. Prices are same as Washington. No burgers or different items than home.

I have never ever been in a cleaner Costco and one without massive lines. This visit to the Fairbanks Costco was amazing!

Very covid aware follows safety protocols and provides masks to customers without them; does a great job keeping the community safe. They have a wide variety of shopping selections. You will never had an unpleasant expirience here.

The kiosk for the food court and pretty inconvenient if you only have cash on you and whats with the ice cream ALWAYS being out of stock. Ugh.

Me and my husband just moved to Alaska and was my first time being in Costco everyone was so friendly and you really get your moneys worth!

Overall I really like having Costco in town. My only complaint would be that the cashiers seem to throw your produce around, theyre in just too much of a hurry. I appreciate that they are trying to move customers through check out quickly, it just irritates me when theyll stack heavy items on crushable ones. Or place meat on clothes, etc.

Not a fan of the employees, nor how youre greeted just by a passing employer. Customer service is the number one priority for any business, but hrtr your trated life someone who is unwelcomed and your money isnt good enough for them.

The employees seem very happy and are more than willing to help with anything you need. Its super clean, great prices and food. Much better than Sams Club (my opinion only).

While I miss Sams Club, they are a great substitute. I think of the place more like an oversized grocery store, the si,ea are just larger.

I enjoy shopping at Costco. There was only one thing I slightly had a issue with and that was that the person who is supposed to unload the cart for the cashier just stood there and yawned while my husband was doing their job. Was not to pleased with that. Other then that love it.

Overall, probably best in the state. Very high number of people without masks, so 3/5.

Love it! I spent $120 for a membership and got $154 back in rebates. I like being able to stock up and shop every other month for nonperishables. Lots of organic and non gmo foods. I feel safer shopping there than most other places because fewer people are shopping without masks.

The general warehouse shopping experience is a good 3 to 4 stars but the tire install area made me lose much confidence in the store. If the bakery section was as good as Sams, Id rate it a solid 4. Had issues with cracked hub caps and damaged tpms sensors upon changeover, employees couldnt figure it out and left it up to management to fix. Have not heard back yet. I went to a 3rd party and had the sensors changed and they confirmed damage. I will avoid the tire section until theres a change in staffing.Update; 2 months later and still havent heard from management.

Waste of money buying a membership. i dont like showing the gestapo my card and receipt every single time. prices here are not spectacular, but regular like safeway. food court is the best thing about it, but is it worth 60 dollars for a membership? lol

Why are there no senior hours on Saturday and Sunday?!Why do the staff act like Military Gestapo when it comes to mask and yet a large portion are not wearing them properly?I hate this store!! The bathrooms are poorly monitored for supplies and cleaning.Why do I shop here? Because there are items here I find of better quality. Such as the Kirkland heavy duty trash bags hold up better.I can find my pantry needs in bulk.

Farthest North Costco in America, Nice clean store with shelves stock good. Your typical Costco but without the big crowds. Costco gas is a savings and a plus when filling up my rental car.

Thank you Costco for making everyone wear masks during the current pandemic. I have always loved costco but now I have a new appreciation for them after their unpopular decision to keep everyone; employees and customers alike, safe. It is refreshing to see a large company that values safety over money.

I will give them 2 stars because until this week I loved them. But due to their new requirement of customers wearing a mask to shop. They have not done proper research and are not making it possible to practice good mask wearing possible.

My husband and I had our eye appointment with Dr. Stephen Page the optometrist at the Fairbanks Costco and were pleased with his service and expertise. You can tell her is passionate about his work and enjoys helping people. He is a great asset to Faurbanks Costco. He was easy to relate to, full of stories and also explained how our eyes had changed in an easy to understand way. It is so convenient to be able to get our eyes checked and do our grocery shopping at the same place. Thanks Dr. Page!

Costcos is great they have good spacing, never too busy and they always have things on the shelf and of course their prices are great!

Miss Sams. I like Costco for somethings, but I dont like the lack of consistentsy in product stocking. An example frozen biscuits by the bag they were in stock, the next week gone. Asked an associate he said oh that was probably something that was on promo the veggies are good some are to near best use by date to buy such a big quantity. Still better than not having a warehouse club.
