We do a lot of shopping here the sales associates are always helpful they usually have everything we need grocery wise also they have the best fruit in our opinion and if they dont have any of the fruits in we like it doesnt usually take long before they have them restocked the part where they have the hot foods is another good spot we love to get food they only downfall is the overwhelming amount of homeless people going in and out of the store and panhandling in the parking lot other then that we highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning 😊

Awesome shop with a great plant section. I got everything I wanted, even chicken tenders late at night! Made broccoli Cheddar soup with friends afterwords. Their liquor store is open late and well stocked!

Northpole Safeway is finally getting a much needed renovation. I dont like how they moved things around. Because it makes shopping more difficult. But, the helpful employees make shopping easier.

I wanted to buy disposable face masks that were supposed to be on sale for $6.99, $4 less than the original price. The register rung them up for10.99. I ended up getting a refund because they did not offer to do a price check. I wanted organic bananas but they didnt have any. Their prices on organic potatoes and grapes was reasonable. They had organic kiwi but they werent priced so I didnt buy them.

Love it cause I know where the things are and they have some things that the other store doesnt.

I go there for my prescription the staff in the pharmacy are the coolest. And I get my meat from their. Every day they mark down whats going to expire so they mark it down its still good less expensive. Steaks I couldnt afford at regular price.

Ive been a loyal Safeway Customer for probably 50 years. To day Im buying my frozen foods and I was so glad to see Frozen soybeans and then I read the label. Product of China. I looked at every frozen food product I had in my basket was a product of China. America wake up. We cannot let China control our food supply our medical supplies and Manufacturing. Each person has to make an effort to stop this. Its inconvenient but buy fresh are whatever it takes. Let us not buy anything but trinkets from China. We all know well be throwing whatever we buy from them away in just a few short months anyway as it is allways junk anyway.

Clean store, with a friendly staff. However their carts are almost all broken in some way. Zero maintenance done on them. Also this store hasn’t had baskets for a year and they just say “people stole them”. So you can either grab a cart that has a spinning, clunking, death wheel, or wander around looking for baskets that don’t exist. This is the only Safeway I won’t shop at.Get... some... baskets..

We had an emergency and needed ONE item at the last minute. We arrived by 12:58am with other shoppers in the store and we werent permitted when they close at 1, even telling them that we needed one thing (and what it was). I wont shop here again, and Ill suggest they list their hours as 12:58am and not 1. Im sure if their employees had an emergency, theyd hope the store they were visiting would have some compassion. You close at ONE.

They house a very diversive collection of unique products and the smaller store size and fact they are never too crowded make them an ideal place for last minute holiday shopping, when other stores may be picked clean of relevant food or gift items, Safeway usually has everything you need plus a bonus of unique items not available anywhere else.The only downfall is their prices reflect a specialty boutique being quite a bit more expensive,but the convenience is considerable

Safeway in Bentley mall Fairbanks alaska. Why do you require employees to wear masks if youre not going to require them to actually cover their faces. In the deli only 2 of the 8 people had their nose and mouth covered. The workers preparing food had their masks on their chins. Neither mouth or nose covered. Whats the point

So I bought bread two days ago from here ate one sandwich the day of purchase and just made my child and i a sandwich and half way threw realised the bread was moldy. The packing date is Mar.11th and the sell threw date us Mar. 15th. Today is Mar. 16th and its already molding. A $4.99 loaf of bread and its already moldy. Ive also have seen Safeway brand bread moldy on the shelves and thought maybe it just got missed but after this Im going to assume the quality us just poor and over priced. Between the excessive wait times to check out, poor selection of products and now bread that molds two days after purchasing Im done. I suggest you be careful of bakery products. Ill be taking my business to Fred Meyers from here on out.Its 5 oclock on a Sunday and they have two check stands open.The wait is just getting unacceptable. Theyre depending to much if self check out to much. Take a page from Fred Meyers and keep the normal amount of checkers and have the self check out. The faster you move people the better.Grate store with well stocked shelfs.This Safeway is kept clean and very well organize. The store is a smaller one so they dont have a over abundance of products flowing from the shelfs. Theyve added selfcheck out stands and reduced they amount check stand workers. I would normally say this is a good thing to keep people moving but... The selfcheck out stands are they worst in town. Ive use them at Walmart, Fred Meyer and they other Safeway with no issues maybe once in a grate while something one scan but thats it. I noticed a lot of people avoid them as well increasing the wait time to check out with a real cashier. If they just added one or two more workers things would run grate.

Went here to purchase our Turkey/ chicken dinner for Thanksgiving. We purchased chicken from the Deli and were super impressed with Michael K., the gentleman who helped us. He was not only working over the Thanksgiving holiday, but was so hospitable and friendly while doing so. We were traveling and couldnt cook a Turkey, so he cooked us up some fresh fried chicken for us to enjoy. He was so kind to us!!!! Thanks Michael!!!!!

Always my choice for groceries love there fruits and veggies always best compared to other grocery stores. Prices are a little higher but sometimes can find good deals. Especially on $5 Friday. Also have a very good floral department. Always go here for my floral needs. The floral staff are always very helpful. Love Safeway

If you are military DO NOT SHOP HERE UNTIL YOU LIKE THROWING MONEH AWAY. Most things are twice as expensive as on base; I’ve seen three times the price here. You get a bit more variety, but the things that are the same, it’s way more expensive. Then, you might end up standing in line for 15 to 20 minutes because there’s only one check-out open because they underestimated a commonly occurring influx of people at certain times of the night.

Well stocked grocery store. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Flowers are fresh too. A little on the pricey side. Points earned can get discounts on fuel.

I stopped here while on our way to our destination. I dont think Ive attracted so many wondering eyes while shopping as I have here. It seemed I was immediately recognized as a foreigner, or non-local.Though my experience with the staff was okay, it was the customers who made things weird.
