My first time having food at the Sunshine Food Cafe, which is on the top floor of a sweet small grocery store and nutritional supplement spot. I had wanted to try their healthy food for some time, and I made it right before the cafe closes at 3pm. I was surprised by the variety of choices they offered for lunch. I was surprised by all of the non-vegetarian options, such as the Rueben, which is what I ordered. A Reuben made with real house made corned beef, fresh bread and homemade sourkraut and dressing. I got it with the “add a side for $2) and today the side was potato salad.Yum yum yum yum! The food tasted great on the beautiful upstairs outside summer seating, under the shade of a huge umbrella. Yum! The flavors! The freshness! The good vibes! This is an amazing spot in Fairbanks, the place to be is on the deck, waiting for your food to be delivered to your table.

Appreciate they have the same supplements Id buy online, and that one worker managed to find me a discount coupon. Unfortunately its not possible for brick & mortar shops to compete with Amazon prime pricing at all, but they try and are a valued part of the community.

This place is a great place to get those hard to find items especially if you have children with gluten intolerance or allergies. I had a really tasty turkey sandwich and my daughter loved the broccoli slaw that came with it. The cafe is really cute and well done.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Sunshine Health Foods off College road. I’ve been to Sunshine many times before, but this was my 1st visit to their college location! I didn’t know what to expect, but I was excited to find out. As I walked in, I was almost immediately greeted by a very generous lady by the name of Kinlee Hawkins. She wore a sincere, beautiful smiling face. She helped me get the exact & MORE information I was seeking! VERY HELPFUL! I am not sure how many people they have working over there, however I did see 2 others that seemed to be working hard, but there is no doubt, Kinlee was the MUSIC to the store, that’s forsure. While I was browsing, she was checking people out up at the front counter, atleast 3 or 4. The laughter exchanged with her customers and positive words was definitely something special. Thank YOU Kinlee! 🙏🏼 & Thank you Sunshine Health Foods for always keeping it REAL! & keeping Fairbanks steady stocked & supplied with those TOP NOTCH, PREMIUM HEALTH & WELLNESS PRODUCTS! with a selection that will make your head spin! Don’t even worry about this place NOT having what you need. They HAVE it ALL. I highly recommend to go take a visit if you have never been before! ❤️💯🔆
