I called from the lower forty eight to help some friends who needed oil delivered to their home in North Pole. The gentleman who answered the phone, Phillip, was extremely helpful. I was able to purchase the fuel and have it delivered ASAP! Many thanks to this company and to Phillip for warming up five cold Oregonians!
Ash answered my call. she was extremely helpful. Answered all my questions.
Delivering fuel to my house since 2006 and helping to arrange all related services. No problems so far, could reach dispatch on holidays, nice people answering the phone and I visited their office and was good too.
Started with Fairbanks Fuel 12 years ago when I bought my house because my tank had 2 elbows (no idea why) and they were the only company who would actually pump fuel into my tank. At some point when Alaska Fuel Distributors took over, they lost coordination. I would call up and order fuel, schedule a delivery, and pay in advance, but they would not show up. I ran out of fuel three times last winter because they did not deliver my fuel. I had to call and confirm they delivered every time, and the people in the office would be confused looking at my account because the computer would show that delivery was scheduled and pay, but no delivery or receipt weeks later. Also, they would send me emails saying I owed money on fuel that was delivered which they told me to ignore because they were having system problems. Those emails persisted all winter. This summer I had my tank dug up and replaced the elbows with straight pipe, so I will never have to deal with them again! I hope others have a better experience.
Delivery driver managed to get himself so severely stuck in the road in front of my house that it became almost impassible. Fairbanks Fuel did nothing to fix the situation, but the multiple tow trucks that were required for various delivery drivers and passer by in the subsequent weeks probably appreciate the mess Fairbanks Fuel made of the road. How do you get the rear end of a fuel truck six feet off the road? Safety first!I paid for the fuel without much more of a fuss that a normal person would kick up, and they terminated my account after six years of just paying my bill on time. I called Crowley, they will be here in two days right before the Thanksgiving holiday. The gent on the phone was a delight.
Filled up our tank charges us for 500 gallons our fuel tank wasn’t that low didn’t use heat all summer most it should have been is maybe 200 gallons. We keep track through year and months we get fills ups . Call company oh someone must be stealing it they say, no we have cameras. Ripped us off and they have done this to others in the community.
