These guys are so good with scratches, I may have them fix some of the scars on my body! I took my Lotus in because someone put a big scratch in the paint on the fender above the rear wheel (read kids scooter in the garage). Davey matched the 2005 stock paint and clear coat perfectly. I cant even see where the work was done. Of course, I make the kids clean it and wax it every month so that helps too. Highly recommend these guys!

After being rear ended, I had to get a new trunk and the team kept me updated throughput I he process. My car looked beautiful when it was returned with a thorough washing and professional level detailing to the interior. They even buffed out another scratch as part of their cleaning. Collision Specialists always goes above and beyond and I can’t recommend them enough.

Second time using Collision Specialists of Fairfax this time for my Dodge Journey. They did a fantastic job on the body work and even cleaned my car inside and out. Will be a customer for life!

I can only give 3 because even tho the paint work was good, they dont know what to paint and what not to paint. I took my 2000 Honda Civic to get the new front bumper, grill and hood installed and painted, they painted EVERYTHING, the grill is supposed to stay plastic black, the grill in the bumper too and the fog lights spot also needed to stay black, well everything is red now and even tho they told me to bring it back in to get it fixed, I dont really trust them anymore and Im afraid they will paint it black and not take the red paint off like its supposed to. Bottom line is, a costumer shouldnt have to tell professionals what to paint and what not to. Pictures of how it looks and how is supposed to look.

Even if there is a problem Al will make it right.

I had a simple cosmetic repair to a rocker panel. The repair was fine. What was impressive was the communication. They called to let me know how things were progressing and then to check if I was happy days after picking up my car.

The quality of the job is amazing. The punctuality of the time estimate was excellent and the pricing was also excellent. They warranty the paint job for life as long as I own the truck.I would most definitely recommend this body shop to anyone.

Was the closest body shop. Dropped it off, they gave me eta on when to pick up. Unforseen circumstance caused 2 day delay, but understandable, its to be expected. Customer service was great, they can improve on updating customers though,but overall, i am happy with their service n work. little quick adjustment on the spot but other than that, no hiccup. Hopefully i dont have to return here, but will return if i need body work

I had to share the wonderful experience I had with Collision Specialist of Fairfax. I went to their office for a quote on Friday, was happy with the cost and my car was fixed by Monday midday. I wasn’t able to get there before closing time and they made the necessary accommodation due to my circumstance. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my car was washed and cleaned when picked it up. If you value good customer service and efficiency you should definitely give them a try.

Took my car in today because I unfortunately swiped the passenger side of my 2012 Audi A6 backing into my garage and scratched it pretty badly. After looking at reviews I called and the woman that I spoke to was so empathetic and friendly, asked me to bring it by to take a look at it. Fifteen minutes later the same wonderful person I spoke to over the phone greeted me with a smile and had a gentleman named David to assist me further. We went out to assess the damages and he took a few pictures. Shortly afterwards he went in the building and came back out with a bottle of magic (I think it was lacquer), sprayed and wiped off the scratches! I would’ve gladly paid whatever but from the kindness of his heart he didn’t charge me a dime. It literally brought tears to my eyes. It’s not completely fixed just yet but I had to write a review because the customer service that I received today over the phone and in person was too notch; and they were pretty busy helping other customers while keeping their professional composure! Thank you all so much!

I got rear ended in an accident and needed body work done on my Mazda CX-5. Collision Specialists of Fairfax communicated with All State Insurance and Enterprise Rental Cars directly and the whole process was very smooth. They called me often throughout the process with updates, and the repairs were completed in a reasonable amount of time. The car looks good as new, and to top it off--it was washed and detailed when I picked it up. The repairs have a lifetime warranty, too. I highly recommend this auto body shop.

They did a great job on my car. I had a big job and they would call once a week w an update. The admin person calling was polite but always seemingly in a rush. George, the guy in charge, called me twice when I requested more info during the weekly call. George explained things patiently and slowly. When I picked up my car it was like new - even on the inside. They even called after a couple of days asking about any issues.

I came in with a close to totalled coupe and they basically made it look like brand new. I work at a dealership that gave me an Employee rate and told me it will be about 3 weeks. Collision Specialist gave a less expensive rate and my car back in one week! Highly recommended

Overall, I was happy with the service. I docked one star because they should have quality checked everything before asking me to pick up my car. I had to bring it back for corrections, but they took care of it quickly and provided a loaner. It does take nearly 8 days. I docked another star because the manager, Al verbally confirmed the dealer agreed to match all pricing that the insurance adjuster wanted and that I would be getting all new parts, but the paperwork stated some parts were after market parts. Dont take anyones word, just make sure to get it in writing. I was happy with the overall quality of the work.

Great experience. My trunk was damaged when my car was hit in a parking lot, Collision Specialists did an outstanding job with the repair. My car is a Dark Gray 2012 Honda Accord; the paint job on the new trunk door perfectly matches the rest of the car. Hopefully I will not need a repair like this in the future, but if I do I will definitely come back here. Highly recommended.

Took my 330xi to get front bumper and head light replaced. Im glad they took the extra time to get the parts from the actual BMW dealer. It looks perfect. They also waxed the whole car including wheels. Ive never seen it so shiny!

Professional and courteous. Kept me up-to-date through the whole process via phone and text. They have a car rental service available on-site (Enterprise, I believe), but State Farm Insurance wouldnt let me use any rental service other than Hertz, so CSF graciously called the local Hertz to shuttle me over.

Pretty good service but with some red flags. They were a “preferred” vendor for my car insurance company and closest to where I live. I had a crack in my front fender due to an accident and they replaced it just fine.Two things to note about my experience though... they replaced one of my headlights without notifying me, which they shouldnt have b/c it wasn’t on the estimate. And then they left the inside of the front bumper in my trunk. The former didn’t really matter because the original estimate was over my deductible anyway, but the notice would have been nice. The latter doesn’t really matter but why??Also, when I went to pay they were confused b/c they thought I didn’t have any deductible. They had to call my insurance and reprint my bill. Not sure how this happened. It makes me wonder if they went ahead and did unnecessary work on my car b/c they thought I wasn’t the one paying. That’s just speculation though— it could have been an honest mistake...One more thing: they did not give me a specific date when the fixes would be done. They didn’t even give a rough estimate of when it would be done until a few days after I dropped it off. And then when they did call me to tell me it was done it was a few days past when they said and they wanted me to come as soon as possible to pick it up because there wasn’t enough space in the parking lot. Another minor thing, I know, but I couldn’t help but be a tad irritated.All in all though, the whole thing was a fairly smooth experience and everyone was very friendly. But I don’t think I would choose this company if they weren’t “preferred” by my insurance.

Collision Specialists of Fairfax did an awesome job and they are awesome people. My car looks like it just came off the factory floor. My state inspection was due the month of November. The weekend after Thanksgiving i was going to buy two new tires so i could pass my state inspection. Unfortunately, i had a collision with a deer the day after Thanksgiving. While my car way in there hands they took my car to a nearby Sunoco to have the state inspection done for me and added the cost of the bill. That was was. You guys are truly the best. Thanks.

Dropped off my car two weeks ago. Instructed them that I want my original rim back. When the car was picked up a week ago, no rim in the car. Spoke to Jose on the phone that same day and I was told it will cost $50 to get my original rim back. It has to do with some recycle fee. I told him fine, I will come get it tomorrow. When I got there the next day, I was told the truck came and already took the rim. Jose said he will call the truck company and let me know. It has been a week, no status! Called the shop multiple times, no one call back yet!

I am absolutely pleased with the workmanship at Collision Specialist of Fairfax. My vehicle was hit by a deer, and it had considerable damage. The insurance required me to get the preliminary estimate from their registered body shop in Chantilly. The estimate included aftermarket parts, and also a used head light assembly. When I questioned, they said it is common practice; I could not do anything about it. My vehicle is a Lexus LX570, a full size SUV, and there was no way that I would allow a body shop to install inferior parts, just because the insurance wouldn’t cover it.My business is located two blocks away from the body shop, and I know Mr. Al Marshall personally for some time. I told him that this vehicle is my baby, and I want all the parts replaced with original Lexus parts. He assured me that he would negotiate with the insurance appraiser and get it done. Couple of days later he called me up and said the job is approved to install all genuine Lexus parts. The new estimate is double the preliminary estimate.I like to mention one thing here; I only had one head light assembly broken. The other one was intact, but only one mounting bracket was snapped. Mr. Marshall said he would replace both head light assemblies brand new. I was so happy because I was worried of the mismatch, if one was replaced.The color of the vehicle was also hard to match, “dark red pearl.” It was matched perfectly. So I am a happy customer and I highly recommend “Collision Specialist of Fairfax.”

I would like to say thank you to Mr. Marshall and his staff for wonderful experience at Auto collision at Fairfax. I brought my 2014 750 LI BMW to him with some front bumper issues and it needed to be repaired. Mr. Marshall advise me when he pulled the bumper off he would get back with me and let me know what the cost would be. After doing so they was completely upfront and honest about every clipand bracket dealing with the bumper that needed to be replaced, I have been to a many body shops in my days but this is one body shop that I felt took good care of my vehicle.They were very honest and upfront about every detail, even down to the date and time after receiving the parts on when I was going to receive my car back. These guys were spectacular. I had a repair that was not part of an accident so no insurance involved. The estimate was reasonable but we miscommunicated and the fixed the wrong thing they fixed the right part with no questions asked. They drove me back and forth to my house, dropped my car off at the dealership and made it no hassle. Highly recommend them. Antonio was the one who helped me.

- Every representative of Collision Specialists that I encountered was exceptionally friendly and totally customer focused.- Collision Specialists kept me advised of the progress of my cars repair, which was completed as was originally scheduled.- The repair work appears to me to be unsurpassed in quality! That portion of my car that was damaged looks exactly as when the car was new. The car runs exactly as it did before the accident.- When I took receipt of my car, it had obviously been well cared for during the repair process. A paper floor mat had protected the drivers carpet during its movement through the repair steps, and the cars exterior, to include wheel side walls, had been cleaned.

I have been to Collision Specialists on more than one occasion, both times were for substantial body damage to a basically new car. Each time the work was so well done that I could not see any evidence that there had been any damage. Most recently I needed to have a repair done but could not find the time to drop off my car, Al, the gentleman who I had been dealing with offered to pick up the car in Alexandria and or get me a rental car free of charge. I ended up just dropping off the car on my way out of town, I would be gone for a week so I had my brother pick up the car when the repairs were complete so that I could pick it up at his house when I returned home. When I arrived and saw my car I was very pleased with the quality of work, as I looked the car over I noticed a big dent on the driver door! The car had been in front of my brothers house for a week, having dealt with body shops before I was certain that I would be paying for yet another repair especially since the damage likely occurred in front of my brothers house. I called Al and asked if he could send me a quote based upon some cell phone photos, he said that they could definitely fix the dent, what happened next was unbelievable, he said just bring it in and they would fix it for free since I was a good customer, I couldnt believe it. The dent was pretty bad so I figured that there would be some evidence like a ripple or a scratch but there was nothing, it was absolutely perfect.These guys have a customer for life, I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.I hope that this super long review is helpful to anyone out there looking for a quality shop that works fast, does a spectacular job and stands by their work 100%.

I was recently in a minor car crash in a grocery parking lot that required repairs to my 2011 Hyundai Elantra door. He went above and beyond and made sure I got the repair that was ACTUALLY needed (the insurance company wanted to un-dent- it really needed a replacement door). These guys are awesome. They even cleaned my head lights while they had my car apart.

This shop misdiagnosed the damage to my car, and then lied about it to avoid covering the costs. They observed all the damages superficially, but (I assume) did not take the car out for a test drive to notice the damages to (parts of) the engine. So they gave the misestimated repair costs to my insurance company and sealed the deal. But once their repairs were complete, they took it out for a test drive and then noticed the damages to the engine. Rather than admitting to their mistake, they go on and lie about it being a manufacturer defect.This could have been an honest mistake, and I wouldve understood and forgiven. Had they admitted it, Id give a 5-star rating. Their repair work and painting was 100% and employees were courteous, but to sit there and say a collision would not cause this damage and claim it as a defect is wrong.Anyway, I went to the cars dealership, and they diagnosed it was absolutely caused by a collision. They had documented cases, photo and video evidence to confirm; therefore, our insurance company covered the costs to fix it, 100%. Collision Specialists, you just got one-upped by the car dealership... you know, the place everyone refers to as a stealership, deeemed as untrustworthy and often hear theyll rip you off, find some place local.

These guys are awesome, my Ford Fusion was hit by a drunk driver and I thought it was going to be a hassle trying to arrange everything. I was wrong, Collision Specialists got my car done in a timely manner and did an amazing job on the work they performed.My car looked as if it just came off the new car lot at a dealership. They cleaned the interior and exterior of the car, even adding a coating of wax, which was in my opinion far beyond what they needed to do. They treated me with an amazing level of respect and were very professional in their procedures.The representative Stan Speedy Davis lived up to his nickname and I was thoroughyl impressed, I still cant thank them enough for the work they did! I am more than happy with my experience and with the work that was done, and I will definitely return to them and refer people to their shop.
