The manager at this shop is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this shop. If you absolutely have to, ask for Clay, he was very knowledgeable and gave amazing customer service.
Badly cracked glass on my 2021 Bronco Sport on Thursday. Call Safelite and they scheduled an appointment for the next Monday. Dropped off the car at 9 AM as directed and was told it would be completed by 5 PM. 4:30 PM came. I had not been contacted by them so I gave them a call. First it was a computer that did not understand anything I said. The a human came on but was from a corporate office. He knew nothing. He called the shop and they told him the replacement window was defective and they could not install it. They did not call and let me know. I went to pick up the car. He continued to try and call them to ensure someone would be there to give me the car but no one ever answered. I was calling at the same time. Either it was busy or it would continue to ring. No one would answer the phone. They said it may be in by Wednesday and they would let me know. The manager had left early and the tech did not have any idea what to tell me other than wait for a call. They had found out early in the day the new window was defective and never thought to call and let me know. I believe they never had the windshield and did not figure it out until I called at 4:30 to ask if it was ready. When I arrived at 5 PM to pick up the car they still had not even thought about letting me know the replacement was defective/they never had it, and I would need to reschedule. It was very obvious they had forgotten about the job entirely. Again the manager was AWOL. Considering other option to get the work done. I have little confidence Safelite has what it takes to get it replaced. Obvious lack of leadership and professionalism at this shop.
Liam was our repair technician and he was AMAZING; he was professional, kind and made us feel very comfortable! Perfect customer service and if we ever need to come back I would love to request him again. I feel he would function great at the management level due to his customer service and good work ethic! In addition, the location (even bathroom!) was very clean and had complimentary Keurig+water!
Wonderful experience today. A Safelite mobile repairman replaced my windshield a year ago. Yesterday one of the verticle trim pieces came loose and was flopping in the wind. Whether this was associated with the repair or coincidence is impossible to determine given the amount of time expired. In any case, the young man at the counter politely offered to take a look and took the car in a bay immediately for a repair inspection. He even responded to my request for a walkable lunch spot to patronize while waiting. It turned out to be an excellent sandwich shop. When I returned about 45 minutes later the car was done. The repairman had replaced all the trim clips to secure the trim like new. NO CHARGE! He offered that I could bring the car in for a similar repair should the other trim piece fail in the future due to wear and tear. I unfortunately didnt get the names of these two young men, but I couldnt have been more pleased with my treatment. They were trained well by Safelite. I hope this gets to their supervisor, who can ID them and somehow recognize them for their excellent customer service..
HORRIBLE QUALITY of work 😡Please see the pictures on horrible quality of work. I had a rock hit my windshield while traveling to VA. I wanted the repairs immediately so took the car to the Fairfax VA closest location I was told that would provide immediate services next day to avoid more damage and avoid replacing entire windshield resulting in more costs. However, after the repairs I have two cracks extending from each side from where the chip existed….meaning technician was not careful nor was good at their job ☹️ Upon asking what happened no one gave an explanation instead I was told nothing will happen as it has been repaired…. 😠 I don’t think that was the question I was asking!! Now I will need to replace the entire windshield meaning more costs which is what I was trying to avoid in first place!! 😡 Extremely disappointed
If you’re thinking about using Safelite, read this review.Updated after work performed. My experience at Safelite was atrocious. The highlights are technicians lying to me (not exaggerating), rescheduling me three times, doubling the bill without notifying me, and not honoring appointment times. It would have been comedic, if it were not so tragic. It started with me showing up 14 min late to my first appointment for replacing my windshield and being told that I could not be helped, due to their 15 min late policy. I did not complain, because what appears to be 14 min on my phone, could be 15 min on their office clock. Fine. I rescheduled and went home. Two days later, I got a call from Safelite. The representative informed me that my windshield was not in-stock and I could not be helped at my new appointment time. I was asked to reschedule and I did. But, I asked, “I have an unusual vehicle (BMW i3) and I’m wondering why it’s not in-stock, since it was allegedly in-stock two days ago at my location.” The representative told me that it wasn’t in-stock at the time of my previous appointment either. So, therefore, I wasn’t turned away for my drop off appointment for the 15 min late policy. They used my “almost too late” status to refuse me, so they didn’t have to admit they didn’t have my windshield in-stock. That’s called a lie.So, I went to the twice rescheduled appointment. After a few hours following my drop off of the vehicle, I get a call. “We thought we had your glass in-stock, but we ordered the wrong one.” They asked me to come back, get my keys, and reschedule. I asked what happened, but they said, “I don’t know. Somehow the wrong glass was ordered.” Oh, and, for what it’s worth, the windshield was damaged by the work crews, so even if it had been a fit for my vehicle - it would have been a damaged windshield. Finally, I bring my car in for a “timed appointment,” which was suggested to me by the manager, so I wouldn’t waste my time with an all-day appointment. Fine. I drop the car off on the day of the appointment, at the appointment time, and the manager tells me, “Sorry. Due to staffing issues, we’ll need the car all day.” I agree. When I return to collect the vehicle, the receptionist charges me $966.I say to the receptionist, “I have been quoted $560 at every appointment, why is this so much more?” She said, “Because that’s how much your windshield costs. It’s the price difference. We ordered the new glass and this is the new price.” I asked, “Why wasn’t I notified of this price difference before work began on my vehicle?” She said, “We sent you an email.” I told her, “No, you did not.” She said, “Oh, well, we should have.”Frankly, this level of customer care in such a bad customer service experience should warrant someone losing their job. I hate to say that, because it’s so disruptive to someone’s life, but this was egregious and totally unacceptable. No discount was offered, even when I asked for one, in light of my trouble. I was told that nothing could be done for me. I explained, in turn, that I had burned hundreds of dollars worth of annual leave from my employer to handle this, on all the days it covered. I had to rearrange my life on two weekends. I was charged almost twice the original quote. This is beyond unacceptable.Oh, and when I got back into my car, spare parts were left on my floorboards (pictured). What in the actual heck?I will be reporting this to corporate, complete with the names of those I dealt with.
Do you want to waste your time and listen to endless excuses? Ever feel like having part numbers read to you like youre supposed to be the expert? Make sure you speak to Store Manager Sol.You would think that a week in advance schedule, the correct windshield would be on hand. At the very least a courtesy call so that I can reschedule without visiting the store and waiting an hour. That would make too much sense. Rescheduled. The second visit, this store manager said he had ordered the wrong windshield and I would have to reschedule again after I had already waited an hour at the shop. Who put that man in charge?? How do you mess up twice??
Stay away from this business! Took my vehicle into their shop for minor windshield damage repair. Overall the quality of the work was extremely poor and it appears that nothing was done to the windshield. Recommend you take your business elsewhere if youre looking for a quality repair.
They repaired a small crack in my windshield 1 year ago. That crack then grew 2 inches over the course of a year. When I called for warranty work, they said all they could do was refund my insurance company for the cost of the repair but, offered to replace my windshield at full cost using non-VW parts ( I have a 2017 VW wagon). I was then transferred (for the second time) to the next person who had no idea why I was being transferred and they then hung up on me. I have zero confidence they know how to do this repair correctly so, it works out that they hung up. I would avoid these guys entirely. Use somebody else who really knows what theyre doing and never use an at-home mobile service.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BUNCH OF DISSHONEST LOW LIVES. TOOK for a simple chip on the glass. Then they made it so much bigger on purpose. Then said I need new and cost $1200Got is fixed for $50 with a real glass professionalCalled a resign fill....what a sad business they run..I had it fixed for $50 hello your a LIAR AND A CON MAN. SAD
I drove to pick up/drop off my wife to this place to have her car windshield replaced. 30 min each way.Well, I pick her up and 2 hours after we have dropped her car off, they inform us that the windsheild they had came cracked. So we had to drive all the way back and waste multiple hours during the work week. Then they offered to do the remote windsheild repair, which I dont understand wasnt offered to begin with.
I came in for a scheduled service to replace my windshield. I already apologized to front cashier that I was being late 28mins due to my inability to find transportation before dropping my car off. I had to wait for a family member to get home and followed me to the shop. They straightly refused my appointment and told me to come back different dates. They said they only allow 15min grace period. (where is that on teh confirmation email that I only have 15mins for grace period?). The thing is I have a job and today is my only day off this week. Not very courteous with customer service. I am willing to wait longer than 3 hours to have my windshield fixed because I know I have missed my appointment slot. This place does not allow walk-in service and only appointment so telling me that other cars are waiting is BS since they have a fixed number of cars repaired everyday. 2 words to described this place: not professional and not courteous
Find another location if you value your time! Unreliable is putting it mildly. Go elsewhere until they figure out how to properly staff up, keep appointments, estimate times and complete work in a timely fashion.I scheduled a Saturday at-home appointment from 12-5pm. I get a call the day before saying an employee is sick and they need to reschedule. The following Saturday, same appointment time, i get a call at 330pm saying the employee got in an accident (no one hurt thankfully). Earliest appointment was the next Saturday, so we schedule the same time. On the third try, i get a call in the morning that an employee is sick again. They gave me an appointment that day at 330pm in person. I was told an hour and a half upon dropping it off. 2 hours later and my car was sitting in the parking lot, untouched. When they finally did, i was told another hour and a half. All told, it was just under 4 hours. At least the windshield seems to be replaced fine.Note: there were many other unhappy customers throughout the day including one getting angry enough to raise their voice. The manager/ front desk person Sol was nice enough, but only offered excuses, apologies and vague updates.Advice to this location: take less appointments until you can consistently meet expectations. It sounded like this was an ongoing issue, not a one-off.
“I don’t have a solution for you.” - actual quote from one manager of this business.Sloppy job: White paint was left unnoticed on my car as I had my windshield replaced. I had to ask them to remove it, which they did. Also, while sitting in the waiting area, I witnessed a customer who came back after his rear view mirror fell off after apparently having his windshield replaced.Possible sloppy job: after I replaced my windshield, my max AC started becoming too loud. I brought it back to them and they did replace the newly installed windshield. The noice did not go away, though. Subaru dealer later found three pieces of paper inside.Bad attitude: managers get upset if you insist on a better service.Positive review pressure: they tell you if you don’t give a minimum of 8 points out of 10, folks working with them might not be promoted.I will not give them my business again, and I think you shouldn’t either.I hate writing negative reviews. But I had to do this.
Excellent service. Sol was very helpful and saved me from paying out of pocket. Troy did an excellent job on the repair. Both guys are super nice. This will be my go to location if I have any future vehicle window repairs.
Good service but the work was just ok
First I would like to thank Dominic for his professionalism, positive attitude, and for having to stay later that what I imagine he intended to. With that being said, it took over 5.5 hours to replace my window. I made an appointment for 1:30pm a week ago and it was shared that the service would take 2-3 hours. Upon arrival it was shared it may be closer to 3-4hrs due to employees not showing up. I did not leave until after 7:00pm. This was a result of what I imagine scheduling too many cars with not enough staff. It was shared some employees called off therefore Safelite was short staffed. I would have been happy to reschedule for another day and time. I appreciated Dominic apologizing for something he had absolutely no control over. I imagine Safelite will respond with a comment about valuing my time. My experience today indicated my time was not valued by Safelite or any staff other than Dominic. I made an appointment and planned my day to allow for the service and even the receipt indicated my service should have been completed by 3:30pm. There are more details I will leave out for now but bottom line is I waited at Safelite for 5.5 hrs. Please do better for future customers.
The team here was professional, kind, and completed the job earlier than promised.
Two appointments and and two weeks and my window is not repaired. I don’t fault them for bad parts showing up, I do for not identifying before I waste my time coming out. If you value your time go with another company.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful. They took in consideration of my time that I needed my vehicle back.
Service was great & it did not take long for them to complete everything.
Sol, Zach and Dominic did a great job of taking care of me when I got my windshield replaced. I had an issue where my auto rain sensing wipers weren’t working properly and they easily fit me in the schedule to have one of their techs take a look at it for me. They’d also go over what they did and answered any questions. I’d highly recommend this location.
Had a wonderful experience. Sam did a great job getting me squared away.Only thing I’ve had trouble with is getting in touch with the shop to ask a question regarding something I left in their waiting room. The number on the file keeps directing me to their 1800 number that doesn’t have operators available. I’d appreciate it if someone from the shop could give me a call. Thanks!
Delora (I hope I spelled her name correctly) at the front desk and the technician (Regrettably, I dont remember his name) who did the replacement did their jobs professionally, expediently, and competently. They were friendly and pleasant. I recommend them to anyone who needs their type of services.
Zach was my technician and he was awesome. Kept me informed and went above and beyond to be sure I was happy. He did a great job - if you need auto glass - pick this location and demand that Zach be your tech!
Damaged my vehicle. Called to address the issue. The manager of this location, Saul, insinuated that I was the one who damaged the speaker and upholstery on my dashboard. Had to go back through insurance to get Safelite to do anything about it.After insurance got involved Safelite made good on the damage they caused to my vehicle. I wish I could remember the gentlemens name that helped me out from insurance on. He was responsive and apologetic. Solid guy.Its a shame Safelite has employees like this Saul guy. Scummy practice from this individual. Very rude. Id love to run into him out of a professional setting.Would not recommend this location.
Friendly staff and a quick repair!
Pretty straight forward, i have an appt Monday to have a window put in vehicle. I was told i could stop in to any safelite location to have the exposed area “crash wrapped” and they would clean up the glass etc. I stopped in at 430 and Sol the tech working was very friendly and helped me get in and out very quicly.
They replaced my windshield quickly and quality work
Excellent service and complete a job quickly.
They performed the functions as advertised but they woefully underestimated the time it would take to complete the work (told 1.5 hous and Im currently waiting for 2.5 hrs)
Fantastic service - Fast, friendly, experienced, and efficient. The quality people make all the difference
Worest quality.
This place is wonderful. The waiting area and restroom is clean! They have an assortment of coffees and the front desk personnel are professional and courteous! The windshield was replaced in the time allotted! Great job!
I visited today to get my cracked windshield replaced. I scheduled the service online and then had to reschedule ... again ... using their online capability. The online scheduling and rescheduling worked perfectly, sending me a confirmation text and email. When I arrived, I was greeted by Sol Griffin and the car was serviced by Donnell Jones. This entire event, the windshield itself, the installation, Donnell, Sol, the clean waiting room, the coffee/tea making AND the fresh popcorn ... we fantastic! I highly recommend this store and their service and commend Sol and Donnell for their excellent service.
The Staffing is Very Professional and Very Quick to complete the services! The Reception/Waiting Area is Very Clean and Comfortable and has areas that allow the customers to do work while they wait! I will Highly Recommend this shop to All of my friends and family. If I ever need their services again, I will be sure to come to this location!
Customer service is excellent
Unlike most services that give you an arrival window that they completely disregard, the Safelite technician actually called me three hours early to ask if he could come by ahead of schedule on a Saturday morning. Impressive! Polite, professional, and quick windshield replacement. Very satisfied, would highly recommend!
Timely, professional and responsive service. Windshield on my sons car was hit by a rock while he was out of town. Safelite in Roanoke worked us in and got it fixed. Turned out to be pretty bad so Im grateful they were able to help. Thanks guys!
Friendly and efficient. Lots of clear email communication. Easy interface with insurance company. Car was ready on schedule. Location a short walk from Dunn Loring Metro station.
I had a very pleasant experience at this location. The gentleman helping me was very friendly and knowledgeable, and even explained to me how most insurance covered the repair in question ... without his advice Id have paid more than $100! Instead ... I paid nothing. He also didnt raise any fuss given I came in pretty close to closing time. The repairman stayed, and was also very friendly and professional, especially when showing me the repair.
Fast and efficient service.
Excellent work friendly staff
Very friendly and quick service. Attendants are very caring and know what they’re doing. Hi Louis commend this place. Hassle for you.
Worst service ever. I understand that majority of the people had a good experience here and that’s amazing. For me it was the worst of time and my problem was never resolved. Came to get my windshield repaired after getting a vertical 1inch 1/2 crack. Instead of fixing it they made it alot worse . Then told me that the replacement windshield is my only option with no compensation. Honestly to me thats really messed up cause they definitely sounded confident in the fix . Literally the guy upfront laughed it off and just sent me on my way with no desire to help in any way just a smile and goodbye hahaha never experienced such customer service like this . ALSO WOULD LIKE TO ADD CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR SAFELITE WAS ALSO A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DID NOT HELP AND NEVER CALLED BACK .
I expect good work, but a morning appointment with an all day drop off does not mean it will be done before closing. Now sitting in the lobby. Should have sat with it starting at 0800 when I dropped off. Now they are impacting my day by delaying my job to LAST.Impossible to plan around this store. Use the van.
Expert OEM window replacement!
Went back to get my rear defroster fixed from my back window swap out a few days prior. The manager Sol took good care of me. He is absolutely terrific.
Fantastic experience! Very friendly technician, efficient staff, great experience all around. Was in and out in less than two hours, they vacuumed the broken glass out of my car, and had me inspect the work afterwards (including testing the window). Waiting area had coffee, popcorn, and even charging stations. Five stars!
Did a great job on replacing my windshield - and handled all my questions, issues, insurance claims in a professional manner. Front office staff was on point when I needed additional help. I will say that you should check how much your insurance deductible will be and find out what you will be responsible for paying PRIOR to having any work done. And then find out if it would be cheaper if you paid out-of-pocket. You can get that info through their website. And then decide how to proceed.
Fast service, I was in and out in no time! The guys in the shop where very knowledgeable about their products and and had me feeling good about it. Safelite is a great place. Thanks Mr Sol.
If you have anything that needs fixing under your deductible, do not go here. I had a crack in my glass and to go somewhere else saved me half the price than going here. They were nice, but in the end I would rather have my car fixed cheaper with just as a good job.
Do not recommend. Unprofessional and acted like turning a chip in my windshield into a crack was some kind of laughing matter. Took my business to local, family owned and had a much better experience.
Parking here is terrible. Had to circle twice to find a spot. Had an appointment, but still had to wait 15 minutes after arriving to speak to someone. The person behind the counter was not wearing a mask despite the sign on the door saying employees must wear a mask.
Had badly cracked windshield from this winter, scheduled my repair (which you must do in person or via internet) and dropped it off. 3 hours later it was ready. No leaks or problems during these hot days and violent storms over the last 2 months, and it rained the very day I got the repair. Great friendly service, efficient process. Make sure they transfer your safety inspection to the new windshield!
My service was great, the technician was on time and gave me a call to let me know that he was nearby before actual arrival which gave me time to prepare. The technician was very generous and very professional in his practices as he repaired my windshield and all the while he acknowledge my crazy conversation and spoke to me, it was almost like gaining a new friend. In the end his work was done at a great pace and the windshield looks much better than before.
The guy came on time, changed my windshield in my parking lot in less than an hour, explained what I need to do with the tapes and why I need to keep the side windows open, took my payment, and left. He was nice, professional, not too talkative, just focused on his job. I was very satisfied.
Waiting 2hrs was pretty hard but other then that coffee and water was provided.
Great place for auto glass.
No one answers a call at this location. Will bring my business elsewhere who actually answers a call.
Setup appointment over the phone and came in the next morning. Everyone was courteous during the process. Took around 35 minutes to get my rear window replaced. Definitely recommend.
Customer service is top notch. Super friendly, informative, and is straight forward. You feel the power youre making the best choice due to the helpfulness of the staff.
Really disappointing. I had two small chips in my windshield I wanted repaired. Neither had gotten worse in 6 months, but I saw the Safelite commercial and thought it was worthwhile to repair the windshield. When I returned to my truck, one chip was repaired, the other had turned into a 12 spidering crack. When i questioned Safelite, what the rep told me boiled down to sometimes we fix the windshield, sometimes we make it worse. He said that I could go through my insurance company to have Safelite replace my windshield. So, I hire Safelite to fix my windshield, they break it, and now Safelite can cash in on replacing the windshield, too. How does this not sound like a scam?.
Im beyond frustrated with Safelite and will use or recommend Safelite to anyone. Safelite has unsuccessfully attempted to repair/replace my windshield 3 times this week. Due to technician error, a call center that is rude, unprofessional and anything but customer friendly; I will be using another vendor for my repair and encouraging GEICO to discontinue their partnership with Safelite based on my experience. You definitely havent provided service meeting your marketing Sloan of being convenient and stress free.
Fixed a chip in my windshield, I can barely see where it was. Thanks! Saved me having to replace the windshield and paying my deductible. Win win.
Quick reasonably priced repair of a rear view mirror that fell from its windshield perch.
Lifetime guarantee, huh? I guess as long as you dont complain about the work. Weve now had our windshield replaced three times, and there is a high-pitched whistle when driving over 40 mph. The first guy said its clearly an air leak, and replaced it again. The third time, same thing. Now, its STILL not fixed and the shop we were referred to will not let us speak with a manager, is saying the whistle is NOT related to their work (when 2 other Safelite employees clearly indicated IT IS), will not give us the name of the shop, or even their name. Basically, weve been completely blown off.Safelites own website says Automobile glass is warranted against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass is installed so long as such defects are brought to the attention of Safelite within 30 days of your discovery of a defect. We brought the issue to their attention immediately, and still its nope, not our problem. So I guess for Safelite the whole guaranteed as long as you own the vehicle thing only applies so long as you dont bother them or ask for anything to be done correctly. At this point, Im very confident in saying we will never use Safelite again due to the shops incredibly rude customer service, and of course, the shoddy workmanship.
A rep just arrived at my house to complete a repair for a crack on my windshield. the First thing she said was that the repair is not going to look like glass and is not guaranteed. She was very rude and un professional. 10 minutes later I look outside to not find the rep any where in site, but was emailed a receipt. she did not notify us that she was done and you can still see some damage on the crack of the windshield. Would not recommend
This one is an easy one so I’ll be very brief.Service: very sloppy work. Day 1: after waiting for half an hr, service mgr advised me to reschedule because the replacement glass is chipped. You would think that they’ll check on it before customer arrives; especially, when there’s a confirmed appointment, but didn’t.Day 2: came again to have the the new windshield for me, but I discovered as I was inspecting it before leaving the facility that the gasket was chewed up, not sure what really happened. So, they had to reschedule me for a 3rd appointment.Day 3: even though I had yet another scheduled and confirmed appointment, it took them close to 6 hrs by the time they finished re-installing was windshield. But again, sloppy work as you could see messy resudue of glue all around windshield and gasket. It doesn’t look professional at all. One of the windshield wipers was misaligned; the panel covering the area b/w windshield & hood was misaligned and one screw was missing. It was a big mess. I had to wait close to an extra hr to have those issues addressed. They don’t seem to be enforcing any quality control at all. To be fair, the only good thing that came out of this experience was that the service manager was friendly and the waiting room was clean and pleasant with free drinks and popcorn. Other than that, I really find it difficult to give this location a high review.
Terrible service, terrible customer service, if you have another option go somewhere else. Countless hours spent getting the right glass. Came in for one appointment and the wrong glass was delivered. The second time it wasnt at the shop and had to wait 6 hours for the install. No one called ahead of time for either appointment to say it wasnt there or correct. Then when the work was finally done they chipped the paint on the car on both sides of the window. I took photos before and thoroughly inspected the car and they still acted like it wasnt their fault. After all of this, they offered nothing for the countless hours of wasted time they caused, just $500 to waive the damage which most likely wont cover the repair. This has been the worst customer service experience I have ever had at any company and I have Verizon FiOS.**As an update the regional rep reached out and made things right. While it was unfortunate I had to go through all of that, they did make it right in the end which I commend them for. Also, I did notice that after removing my EZ pass they put new adhesive on it to stick to my new window. I wish that attention to detail existed throughout the process as it was a nice touch.
RED JEEP COMPASS guy worked on my car I dropped off. 2 hours later i went to pick it up. Watch them do the work and have you drive the car in and out. Because My cars ignition was tampered with and was permanently locked. .. I had to pay for tow truck, safelite did not pay or take fualt. WATCH THE TECHNICIAN!!!!someone stuck a lock pic and broke one of the lock pin springs. Paid for new ignition... The guy with the RED JEEP Compass was the one who did the work and i know he did that to my car in less than 2 hours. He wanted to buy my celica, at a discount since it wouldnt start. SCAMM
Extremely friendly and professional team! They did a great job
The best customer service Ive ever experienced. I went in with a bad crack in my windshield where I was hit with a decent sized rock from the back of a truck. They told me I had 3 different impact points and were unsure if they could fix it but they would try. I waited about 30 short minutes and it was fixed! Just 3 tiny hair thin lines remain. They were professional, funny, kind, and wonderful! Thank you so much!
Had a windshield installed in September 2018 on a Honda Pilot. Now a little over two months later the casket around the windshield in coming lose. Not the type of service expected by a well know company. Lets see how prompt they are in correcting the problem.
Great customer service and quick responses to questions.
They did a good job of repairing two cracks in my windshield. Had an appointment, they started on time and finished within the hour that they promised. Only problem was that it took over 15 minutes to pay the bill. They could not find the paperwork.
Friendly service, on time, complimentary coffee and popcorn. Pretty good.Doesnt put the news on, thank goodness.
Went in to have a windshield fixed. Staff was great! Made sure it was done right, brought me back to approve the work and even vacumned out my jeep!
Not to be trusted. I had to give them one star which they don’t deserve just so I could make sure no one else got ripped off. They installed the wrong glass and blamed me. Then the Supervisor lied again telling me there were no other options and they did not make clear glass. I had to introduce him to Google where I found it online in one search minute and then found Empire Glass in the next minute who had it in stock for $200 less and didn’t charge me $34 to come and install it. I wouldn’t have cared and I would’ve have looked elsewhere if they didn’t say they had it and could install it . After refusing to correct the mistake the first day I came back and made them take it back out. He threatened me by saying they would never work on my car again - like I would even let them! Then I had to canceled my credit card payment after he said [lied] again saying they did not give receipts for refunds. Complete unprofessional BS from start to finish.
Great service
Do your homework before taking your car to safelite. Got my front windshield for my Sienna replaced for $440. I went to safelite because it was recomnended by my insurance company (progressive). Come to find out could have gotten done somewhere else for 200 less. Blame my insurance company for such a rip off recommendation. Also asked the supervisor about getting my nickel size crack for my Jetta, he quoted me a price of 95. This was according to him a discounted price for progressive customers from 150. Theyre just not honest. That sucks for the technicians working for safelite. Hope they are getting paid for the big difference in amount they charge. Researched another place and had the crack fixed for 50.So do your homework before getting your windshield fixed.
Everyone was so kind and helpful and they finished repairing my windshield so quickly! Highly recommend.
I was in the middle of the busiest time of the year at work, and I didnt even have to leave my desk while the service technician was repairing my windshield!
Super friendly staff! Hopefully I dont need to have my window replaced again but if I ever do Ill definitely go there .
Replaced the drivers passenger window on my new Audi. Ensured the parts were OEM. Service was FANTASTIC
Professional staff and friendly manger, They know what they are doing and Sol the manager takes good care of his customers. I would recommend anyone who wants his windshield replaced to go there!
Need to replace windshield again decided to do it at a local store, found out Safelite Fairfax left the windshield heater circuit disconnected when they did the installation... Premium pricing with very unprofessional service!
The techs were extremely helpful and very nice
Came by when scheduled and fixed windshield quickly and correct...
In and out. Good job and no complaints.
This is a review for two locations because both locations have brought my trouble now. Back up a few months. I was driving to work and had my windshield crack due to a rock a vehicle in front of me kicked up. No big deal insurance will cover it and use safelite. Which I did. Safelite then told me that there was rust underneath the rubber seal around the windshield so I had to have work done on it. (1996 vehicle). They referred me to a shop got that done then they put on a new windshield. I went to pick it up and I could clearly hear an air leak (even the shop owner drove around with me and confirmed it). I contacted safelite and they said they would fix it. I then set up an appointment for the Fairfax location to fix it and they did. The air leak was no longer audible. Now a few months later it is spring and we are getting more and more rainy days. I start to notice moisture building up on my driver side at my feet. And I do not exaggerate that it was a very concerning amount during a large storm. There was literally standing water inside as parts of the floor are plastic or vinyl or whatever and parts are carpet. There was a puddle on the floor in short. I finally sat outside in my car during a storm to find the source and found a constant dripping at the bottom left of my windshield. Nowhere I could reach. Just something I could see between my dash and the actual side of my car. I now schedule an appointment to get it fixed at the Alexandria location. I have yet to see if it is fixed. It has not rained since. But now the fun part is that these guys must have completely removed my windshield wiper arms not just the blades while replacing the windshield because theres about a half inch gap between both blades and the actual glass. So when Im on the highway this morning to go to work going 70 they are flapping and banging on my glass. I may now have to take my vehicle back a fourth time unless I find a way to fix this myself. I would never recommend safelite to anyone. How does it take this long and this many tries to fix one problem? How does it happen that one problem was being fixed and then your team caused another? And then another? And then another? I wish I could put zero stars. At this point you people are wasting my time and it is very frustrating when I work full time and have to find a way to schedule for you. Three problems total due to safelite Since December. How many more over how many more months?
This is the second time Ive been here in a year. Everyone is very professional and helpful
Great service, store manager is an awesome person.
After canceling their appointment to come to the home and replaced the windshield it has taken almost 4 hours and they still aren’t finished at their shop!
Good experience
Very slow service, made my appointment at 1pm but service was done at 4pm. The estimated finished time was 2 hours. In addition, rude customer service. Very not satisfied and would NOT recommend coming here.
Very knowledgeable staff
Did a great job
