Had a nail in my tire that was quickly going flat. I pulled up and NTB took care of me right away, less than 20 minutes of waiting. Appreciate the quick repair and genuine care of the staff here! Highly recommend.

This is the spot. They took care of my truck better than any other shop has EVER.I purchased new tires through them. They price matched what I would’ve paid for them online, and the entire order together with mounting, balancing, road hazard, and alignment came out to be a great deal. On top of that, they spent the extra effort to ensure that my alignment was PERFECT. Other shops are too busy or careless to have done that in the past.Socrates is the man. I highly recommend working with him if you can. This crew will take care of you with excellent service and fair pricing. I’m a customer for the foreseeable future.

Always the best service you can find. Treated very well. Made an appointment to have a tune up on the car. I had a noise under the hood and they found out I needed a water pump. They took care of everything I asked them to do and my car is running better than it has in awhile. I have bought tiresand a battery in the last 3 years. I have had nothing but excellent service and what I like they listento you and any question you ask they answer it. If they dont know they will check it out for you. Mycar is 14 years old and it is in excellent condition, partly to there great care of it. I thought all the workthey did for me was reasonable and I appreciate that is I live on a limited income. I waited over two hours for a simple oil change. When I finally asked for an ETA, the attendant tells me my car has been finished for a while.. I scheduled my appt online, chose the stay & wait option, showed up 10 mins early, and was told to wait in the back when I checked in. It’s not like they forgot I was there, the attendant passed by and saw me waiting multiple times. Shouldn’t you have the courtesy to tell me when I’m ready to go?

Asked for call as I was waiting with a time restraint however call never came. I called and had to wait additional time no apologies. I also asked them to check my headlights and they made notes to do so but did not check them I’ll go to another store or NTB next time

I went to NTB to check the free alignment. They told me they will do tire balance it will fix the problem. Im okay with that but later they said tire has bubble you need to change the tire, they should have tell me before doing the tire balance. Now it costs me to get tire balance again after changing the tire.

I went to this location NTB FAIRFAX. GOT my tire fixed in less than 30-minutes. i am very amazed, and appreciate the whole team, working in the hot weather and keeping people safe on the road. I am new to NTB, and very very happy with the service. especially service manager (ashi) who is helpful person. i would recommend other to go to NTB.thanks

I am giving this place 5 stars because i had a morning appointment, for tires and brake inspection, and after i arrived and got checked in, i found out that the service manager had to employees out for the day and he was in the back assisting his one technician for the day, it was good to see that the service manager wasnt hugging a CPU and pushing paper in the cool front office but out in the bay working. I told him i understood if he couldnt get to me and that i could comeback on Monday, but they got my tires done, replaced my failing brake system before COB on a Saturday. People were pulling up into the lot for help and appointments so i knew they were swamped, kudos to you morning service manager ( i forgot his name ) and the tech who was busting his tail that Saturday. I for one appreciate yall. Thanks again.

One of the most smooth, straightforward and professional service I have ever experienced in NTB. They did everything I have asked for without extra hidden charges, not like other stations. Also, many thanks to the store manager Mr. Sokrat Lazeri who made my experience very pleasant. Now, This NTB is my permanent station and I recommend it to everyone who cares for good service, honesty, and professional job.

Please disregard my distaste for using @gmail.com for my love of this NTB. They’re the best. Sokrates has your back and I don’t fear him taking advantage of what my car needs. There are closer NTB locations to my home but I’ll definitely travel to this one for the staff and security knowing my car will be taken care of. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to. It changed management and maintains my loyalty.

Top-notch customer and automotive service. Ive been coming here to this NTB location since when it was a Merchants shop and it was run by Colin OBrien. He ran an amazing shop with affordable prices for quality service. That was back in 2018 and it still rings true in 2020.I just recently had some work done and got to meet Sokrat Lazeri, and the man still continues to provide that same sense of quality customer service that it did with the former managers. Kind, courteous, professional, and compassionate. If youre tired of getting ripped off at your other local mechanic shops, hey, this is the place youve got to go.Thanks for all the amazing work yall have provided and continue to do so. From getting my transmissions fluid exchanged to having new shocks & struts installed on my car, this location has always provided me the most affordable options out of any location in Fairfax.

This crew is awesome!! The Chantilly location couldnt fit me in and I was in need of an oil/filter change. I called these guys and although booked for the day, got me as a walk in...the best in the NTB franchise that Ive experienced!

Sokrat (the associate who helped my) was amazing! Im not very familiar with car talk but he explained things well and also helped me make the right choice for my car rather than trying to sell me expensive services. And unlike other places where they try to sell you things you dont need yet but they make it sound like you really do, they didnt do that here. People working at this location are sincere and dont try to take advantage of you. I would definitely recommend this shop if you dont already have a regular place you go to.

As someone who doesn’t know very much about cars it can be really intimidating going to a shop to get work done. I went in with so many questions about tires and Colin was really patient and took the time to answer every single one. He was kind the entire time. I also really appreciated the fact that he made sure I got the best deal and did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge. I will definitely be returning in the future for any other work I may need on my car. Thank you so much Colin and the rest of the team!!

Socrates was very friendly and honest. He made sure that my battery wasn’t under warranty. Turns out, it was still under warranty. I got money back towards a new one that I wasn’t even expecting. Great customer service and they were able to get me in immediately.

The service here was amazing, and Socrates got us in and out quickly, even on a busy day. He was professional and attentive to all of the customers waiting, while answering phone at the same time.We always receive top-notch service here, and the pricing is great.

Would highly recommend. I visited this location recently for help with a damaged tire and they (Juan and Victor, I think) brought my car in and patched the tire quickly and without hassle or charge even though it was near closing time and terrible weather. I plan to return for any services needed in the future.

These guys are the best, especially Tyler. I came here for new tires and alignment. They could have easily charge me for the alignment (since i did some major fixes to the car) but after ran the test, they said i didnt need it. Very honest and friendly place

Wasnt able to get service 2 days in a row not because they were full but because they had no technicians show up to work. I saw one tech sitting both days in the 4 bays in the only 1 that had a car in it. Cant speak to other service aspects since I took my car down the road and found service elsewhere. I get that its a holiday weekend, they want their people to take the time off, but would think there is so much competition in this part of town, they would at least be able to field a team during open hours.

I’ve recommended this place to friends and coworkers, because they’re friendly, forthcoming, and looking to keep customers happy whether it’s describing how to avoid future issues, finding discounts, or showing you the problem in the shop. I’ve had them work on my exhaust system, complete oil changes, replaces tires, and I’ll only use them. The whole staff is awesome!!

I used to come here when it was merchant’s tire. Despite having slots open to book on the website they said they could not repair a tire with a nail in it for 2 more days. If they don’t have space then they should block the ability to book. Thankfully Just Tires is only .5 miles away and was able to see me immediately.

I had just gotten a used car with my parents and took it here for an oil change. Unfortunately I needed rear brakes and the person who sold us the car said nothing:(. Thankfully David was able to save me some money by resurfacing my rotors instead of replacing them! Can’t imagine taking my car somewhere else now.

A friend recommended that I try Merchants Tire for an oil change and I am Very Glad I did. They were extremely professional (even had my name up on the big electronic board) and got me in and out quickly at a fair price. I needed to have 4 new lawn tractor tires installed onto rims. I called many tire places but none could do it except when I called this specific NTB location. They said they would try and they came through. Their price was much lower than I ever expected and they were so nice about it all. Great place.

The front desk helper was really knowledgable and kind as he explained what needed to be fixed with my car. Overall, my first experience here was pleasant and would definitely go to them for help.

After making an appointment at the dealership for a replacement tire, I arrived, waited over an hour and a half, and then was told that they didn’t have the tire and would have to order it — two week processing time, in addition to time already wasted. With a vacation road trip on the horizon, there was no time to wait, so I got on the phone. The closest tire companies wouldn’t even consider taking care of me that afternoon; too busy. So I called the Fairfax Blvd. Merchant’s. Not only did they have the tire I needed in stock, they were willing to shoehorn me into a full schedule. They got me back on the road at a reasonable price, with great good humor and an unbelievable customer service ethic. Javon Foster, the service manager, was particularly helpful, warm and welcoming, as well as extremely knowledgeable. I recommend this team without reservation. Well done.

Very pleased! My husband had a problem with his Lexus and needed some new tires on it. I took the car to Merchants tire as he suggested and they were so nice and kind. I first met Taylor and he found the tires we needed, and then Nick was able to set us up an appointment time that worked. Seriously it is a wonderful location and everyone was helpful. I walked in NTB Fairfax yesterday with an under-inflated tire with no appointment. Reese helped patch the tire after knowing that I needed the car for the night. He finished the job nice and quick. I would recommend him 100%. Great guy!

I love NTB and have been a customer for several years now. I moved to Virginia and thought I left the hospiality in the deep south but I was proven wrong. NTB still knows how to hire the right people to provide quality service, show you respect, and treat your car like its their own. A lot of places are no longer personable so Im glad that NTB chooses to be and I hope they never change.Shout out to David J. Burnell for quality service and the gentleman in the back who worked on my car!

I went to a few auto repair shops nearby in Chantilly, just to get offered ridiculous expensive prices for simple fixes and service ($250 just to get my transmission fluid exchanged, got it done here at Merchant’s for $91), and was recommended to this location by a fellow veteran at the AutoZone up the road.Amazing customer service and amazing prices for services over here. The manager, Colin, is an incredible guy who cares about the customer and ensures your vehicle gets the service it requires. I recently got my tires replaced and my brakes done for a super reasonable price, much less than the $1000 another location offered me just to get the tires replaced!I come here for all my auto mechanical needs now and recommend it if you’re tired of paying more than what you should for your car at another location.

Ive had two experiences buying tires for two different vehicles over the past 45 days. Both times I had Nick Malkin as my service manager and Jesus as the technician. I would highly recommend both gentleman. They are obviously practiced and excellent at their craft. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. A rather uncommon experience these days. Especially in the automotive realm. Merchants Tire is lucky to have these two men and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auto service. I understand Nick may be moving to the Merchants Tire in Falls Church. Its out of my way but I will look for him there the next time I need service! Thank you Nick and Jesus!

I will never going there anymore.They don’t care about customers. Even the corporation. I reported issue for corruption to let them know about customer service in this location. They seem like don’t care.Anyway I already started with mr tires . They’re service much better.

I dropped my car off at the Fairfax Blvd. location for a quick tire job and asked about additional services and pricing. It was the end of the day and they were able to accommodate all of the other work and explain to me the breakdown of the price until I was satisfied. I left their shop content/informed with what I paid and the work that was completed on my car. I would recommend this shop for brakes and repair work as well as tire replacement and alignment.

This place is great and I rarely give out kudos. They do what you need them to, they do it well, more so they do it right, no confusion, no sales, no pressure. Thus is exactly how vehicle repair should be.

Very bad experience, last year I bought 4 tires with full service (flat repairs & rotation)up to 70000 mileage. But when I went for nail in my car they didn’t fixed, and they suggested to buy new tire with full payment rather than they fixed my old tire, it’s very very bad experience, still I have warranty up to 20000 mileage but they did not fixed my tire

These guys set me up with an appointment 2 hours after I called in. I got all 4 tires replaced with a brand they did not originally recommend because it was the more expensive tire. The staff tries to get you the best bang for your buck, and wont hassle you when you refuse any extra services. In regards to the claims of fraud Ive been seeing: I was told a month after I bought my car (August of 2016) my tires were destroyed and I needed new ones. I came into this shop April 2017 and was told that they barely needed replacing, and that I could drive for a little while longer if I wanted. Everyone was kind and up front about everything that was going on with my vehicle, and the job was done swiftly and professionally.

Juan, the service manager, was very friendly. Could see that he treated my car with care as well.

We were visiting over a weekend in Fairfax from out of town (300 miles) and had an issue with a radiator hose. We called, took our vehicle over and walked back to our hotel. When our vehicle was ready, they came and picked us up. It only took a few hours, (they had to order the part) and the bill was a little over $100. I feel we were treated honestly and at a fair price. Highly recommended.

This place worked with me! I came too late one night, but patrick was extremely nice. Then when I came in for my appointment Jay inspected my car. Turns out what I was told needed to be done ( at another place) in order to pass wasnt required! 15 dollars later I was out of there! Just being nice and polite will get you far! I really appreciated it.

Upon pickup I was informed that the nail was removed but did not puncture the tire; therefore, no patching and no charge was needed. Honest service is hard to find. Had wheel balancing and wheel alignment and tpms sensor reset done to my car. It was modified with some aftermarket parts and they took time to listen to what was done and what my goals were in the work I asked to be done. They did a great job, very quick service, and overall great guys. Definitely returning for work to be done when I need it.

I just bought new tires from Merchants this weekend. After going to 3 other stores in the area this shop was easily the clear choice. Quick service and a friendly staff took care of me and car. I was helped by a man named Jim and I must say this is the first time a trip to an auto repair center wasnt painful.

I was taking my car here for a while to get my oil changed because its close by and prices were better then I had found anywhere else. Had pleasant experiences for about a year until I took my car in for tires and realignment. A couple weeks later when it needed an oil change and I took it back they asked if I wanted the alignment done. I of course said no, considering I had them do it just a couple weeks prior. Left there and immediately felt my wheel pull. They obviously screwed it up on purpose because there was nothing wrong when I brought it in. Extremely disappointed that I cant ever go back because up until they were dishonest and money hungry, there had been no problems.

The worst service i have ever had, read more for details.They trick you and clearly lie to you.I asked for a quote of changing the rear wheels breaks pads only, he refused to give me a quote as he wanted to do a quick free checkup only.I said lets do this! Then he said that my inspection has recently expired which i know he asked me if i want to do it, i said no because it will fail as one of the headlights isnt working, but i asked him to check if it can be fixed and how much it costs before the inspection then yeah we might do the inspection accordingly.One hour later! (which was supposed to be only 15 minutes according to him) i asked him to quote me the price of changing break pads (which i have them ready in my car already) because i really need to go. He told me that my quote is very night (around 800) dollars. However changing the rear wheels break pads was 120The real thing that passed me off was because i found my car with the sticker of inspection says REJECTED I was so angry for what hes done. Just to make 16 DOLLARS.I called the manager and explained to him! Well he was definitely on the side of his employee (who looked like respectful person that doesnt lie.!) I expected that, however i only wanted to tell him that Im gonna write all this in the website.I gave them ONE CENT for their bad service and i got the rear break pads changed for FIFTY DOLLARS ONLY in another place.

Very bad experience. I wanted my car to be inspected, everything in my car was fine. But they made a list of several things that have to be fixed and they gave me an invoice of almost $500. They want to make money that is it for them.

Had a flat tire and needed one tire replaced. I had a appointment by they way. they said they would call me when it’s done. Never got a call. Came back four hours later and it still wasn’t done. Came back the next day and it still took them over an hour to change one tire. Unacceptable

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I went in for an inspection and they told me some work had to be done, but waited for my ok on everything before they fixed anything in my car. Even though they were busy they made time for me and everyone else during the time I was there.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I came to pick up my vehicle which had no work done to it. I only asked for a state inspection, but not to do any work.I was asked to sit in the waiting room. After waiting for 15 minutes (literally), I went looking fir someone to help me get my car. Walking through the shop 3 of the techs were playing games on their cell phones and the two managers were hanging out in their office. I told them that I NEEDED my car and asked the what was the delay? They told me that they didnt know but I can wait in the waiting area.Then I told them that I will never bring my cars here again, and then one of them got my paperwork and said that they will pull it right out. 2 minutes later, they did..WOW, I just wanted to get back to work, was that too much to ask for?BTW, there were no other customers and they were pretty slow.Also, my vehicle has a stinky/oily seat from the dirty, oily uniforms they wear and a stick steering wheel. Unbelievable.They also tell their employees that they need to get on there and leave 5 star comments. Pitiful

I have been coming to this shop for the past 5 years and every single time.... it is the best service. They communicate each step of the way and updates and the wait time. The staff is consistent as in you will speak to the same person just about each time(which is great because you develop a relationship with the workers). They do not just treat you like a number here you can tell by how they explain the issues and the best resolution of it that they actually care. I will not be taking my services nor my families services any other place than here. They utilize their staffs abilities to the fullest. I have seen the Taylor guy multitask and keep his cool and remain efficient. The Colin gentleman is versatile with the handy work and the customer service skills(asks about my mother’s wellbeing each time). The thee mechanic is the quickest and most skilled in fairfax. DREAMTEAM. KEEP IT UP.

The lady at the counter was just rude. You need to make some effort in your job. If you hate the job, then quit and find something you can do without being a dick to people for a living. I bet you all have some skilled technicians. Its too bad the reception person is complete poison to the business.

I got tires installed here back in December 2015, i set up the appointment online, picked out the tires, showed up on time for the pre-arranged appointment. only 1 of my 4 tires was on site, someone had sold my tires prior to my arrival that day. i ended up driving one of the technicians to the other Merchant/ntb locations to pick up my tires because none of them had a car or could leave. The staff is friendly, the install was reasonable, but they didnt have a tech that could balance my tires. i spent 3 months battling back and fourth trying to get my truck in to get my tires balanced, the tech would leave early, or the system would be down. none the less i was patient, i had bought my warranties for my tires so i was giving these guys a shot. finally i got the tires balanced. Now my truck is due for an oil change and tire rotation, well today the system is down AGAIN! they asked if i could reschedule, i explained Im busy and have a very small open window, i suggested i wait an hour to see if the system comes back up, i was refused. the tire rotation should have been free, because of the warranty, i get that the system is down but are you telling me you have no back up? i just spent $50 so i can do the service my self. how am i supposed to maintain my vehicle with someone so unreliable? i would have never even considered the warranty had i known service would be this unreliable.

This particular Merchants does a pretty good job of honoring their online appointments. The staff is friendly and the oil change prices are competitive.

As Car Fleet Manger for Janpro Cleaning Systems, everytime i call the crew at merchants i am always delighted that the crew takes the time to entertain my crazy questions or accomdate my bosses crazy work schedule. This place sucks...avoid at any cost...they try to milk you even for a simple state inspection. Over priced, bad attitude, and slow service even if they have one car ahead of you. I had to look for the front desk person my self cause the mechanics didnt even care i was waiting ( there were standing around not doing anything)..

I was very pleased with the repair job that the Merchants mechanics did for my car, which was having brake problems. They were very respectful, polite, and knowledgeable, and when there was a slight matter of confusion over the bill, the manager made up the difference as a gesture of his honesty and sincerity. What a place!
