Customer service was terrible. Tried to return a rug but didn’t have my wife’s credit card (the one we used to purchase), and they were not concerned about helping in any way - like holding on to the rug while my wife returned with her credit card. Instead, I’m hauling this very rug back and forth, simply to return with a different credit card. Was it too much to ask for them to hold onto it? We definitely will not be returning to this store again.

This place was very organized. They have a great selection with trendy items. I would definitely recommend this place.

First time customers. Neat and clean, well organized. The host at the front of the store seemed very unwelcoming but we didnt want that to deter us from having a good experience. Much of what is in the store can be found in a HomeGoods minus the furniture. My husband and I purchased a step stool and large pampas grass vase filler which was too large for a bag. We pay, head for the door and the unfriendly host reappears, following us out of the store to ask us if we paid for our items, despite my husband carrying a bag with our step stool in it and the receipt in hand and despite the fact that she watched us leave the register and walk to the door. We were not impressed enough to make a second visit and they could definitely work on customer service.

My sister and I just had the best experience at Homesense in Fairfax today. Dennis in rugs was so helpful, kind, and patient. Honestly he gave us the best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Thank you Dennis you are awesome!

Very large store with a lot to browse. I came in here looking specifically for a charcuterie board and electric kettle. The kitchen section is surprisingly small. I dont like the way cutting boards are displayed. They are haphazardly stacked and are prone to falling. They only had one type of electric kettle which I wasnt really impressed with. Other than that, they had some really cute stuff and the prices were really good. That electric kettle I mentioned retails for around $30 but they had it for $17.

It was so nice to be out browsing in an actual store. Havent really done so since the pandemic began. Masks are required & carts that are cleaned between uses. Folks kept their distance, too.Homesense is a terrific store, a part of the TJX family of stores. Excellent bargains throughout! Bought a terrific carpet there last year.After wandering about for a short while, I brought home a cool decorative pillow, a great Henckels knife for less than $10, and a few other tchotchkes.Mostly, it was nice getting out of the house and being in a store that was taking safety precautions seriously.

This home decor store has a little bit of everything-similar to HomeGoods. From dishes to living room rugs, indoor furniture to outdoor garden pots!

I went to this store today. I was impressed with how they made sure your cart was sanitized. I was happy I found an item I had been looking for. When I was checking out the cashier (man) would not say thank you. In fact, he looked at me and did not say anything, he just handed me my receipts. Also, he did not take me right away after the last customer. When I was leaving, the lady at the door made up for his unfriendly mannerism. She said “thank you and have a nice day.” I felt he was having a bad day or just wasn’t friendly.

They have drastically changed their operations since first reopening. They now enforce mask policy and sanitize all the carts. It is very organized and they have a great selection. I’m glad I gave them a second chance!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this HomeSense! The manager and all employees were so helpful. My husband went to get the car to bring it to the loading zone and the manager and two employees both stayed with me to make sure we have all the help we need with loading the stuff we bought. Not to mention the store was clean and well maintained. Even during COVID. Kudos to you Fairfax HomeSense!

If you know Home Goods, this retailer is of the same group. Located very close to Fair Oaks mall, the atmosphere as you walk in to Homesense is open and airy. Michael, their location Manager, met me at the door. He was able to navigate me to the items I was looking for that day, my first time there. I spent an hour in the store, getting familiar with their inventory. I was very surprised to see so much Halloween themed items. I think its too soon. They do carry a large furniture section, much larger than Home Goods, with a wall appointment of lamps. I like the well separated aisles of kitchen items from bathroom items. There are plenty of floor staff walking around to help you. I was also satisfied to see security people in the store. Lowering shoplifting losses is always a thumbs up in my book. Happy shopping!

Today is my first time coming to HomeSense in Fairfax. The store is huge and they offer great quality products at amazing prices. Thankfully they have many couches for us guys to sit while our wives shop for hours.

This reminds me of Home Goods or the home section of TJ Maxx. They have many of the same items. I only scanned the front section of this store (plates and serving dishes) but I was impressed - assuming you know the nature of these stores: you may not get a full set of a particular item.

Fun to browse! This store is a bit smaller but all kids of decorating inspection!

Its a brand new home decorating store in the Fair Oaks Mall area, close to US 66 and 50. There are so many different types of decorations from all over the world, for interior and exterior of your home. Including arts, lights, rugs, furnitures, kitchen essentials, and seasonal selections. You can spend hours wondering around the store. The good thing is they have many comfortable seating for the husbands. The only negative is no TV to watch.

Sister store to TJX, HomeGoods, and Marshalls. Some of the same things and some not. There were pieces of furniture, a few Lazy Boy sleepers and chairs. Offering beds, headboards but I dont believe they had Linens. Also they had larger area rugs. I bought a pair of (beautiful) Ralph Lauren candle lamps for around a hundred for the pair.

Went to their opening day. Things were slightly disorganised. Went back for days later and things were running smoothly. The only thing Im not a fan of is how tiny and awkward the aisles are. It makes navigating with a cart difficult. They have a better selection of candles and rugs here than HomeGoods but I like the feeling of HG better.

Some of the regular priced were cheaper than Home Goods clearence items

This place is just ok. I like that it has more furniture and rugs than its cousin Home Goods, but some parts of it look like merchandise was just thrown onto a shelf in no particular order. Im not a rummager, so digging thru stuff isnt my thing, but if you like being surprised at what you might find hidden away with the bath towels and curtains, then this place may be for you.
