These guys are great. Have bought 3 bike here over the years. Went in today to see if I could borrow a pump for the bikes I had on my rack, since I had forgot to bring my pump. One of the guys come out with a pump and proceeds to pump up 4 tires and sends me on my way. Great customer service. thanks!

My gear assembly on the bicycle had stopped working and I took the bicycle to be repaired. The technician clearly explained the problem and was honest that the fix may not be long lasting as the frame of the bike had been damaged. He still made the best attempt and fixed it saying that the fix may not last long. I highly appreciate his honesty, his courtesy and timely service.

Spokes is an excellent bike shop, I’ve had them help me maintain my Specialized Crosstrail (also bought through Spokes) which I’ve had since high school. Knowledgeable service techs will assist you with getting the right parts and are ready to answer questions. Same goes for sales staff who are great with recommending the best gear and accessories.

My wife and I came to get our factory tune up on a Sunday. The associate told us that the turn around time is about 4 weeks. We told him that we would need our bikes on Tuesday. He worked around our needs and told us that since it’s factory tune up and no parts are really going to be replaced, then he could try to get it done by Tuesday or Wednesday. This location of Spokes ETC has always been so accommodating within reasons of course. Everybody is always so friendly and helpful. That’s why we come back here time and time again. Tyler is also always so helpful about telling us new products and upgrades we can do to our bikes to make our rides more enjoyable and efficient. We truly appreciate every single person in this location.

Took my bike in for a wobbly wheel thinking it needed a full tuneup, but they checked the bike and said it just needed a wheel true-up. Work was completed on time as promised.

This place is great. This isn’t even the closest bike shop from where I live but after calling them the first time I have to go here because I just feel comfortable with them right away and I was right. They are the same in person, professional and friendly, not intimidating. They are also still pretty busy when I brought my bike in for service so that says something about them.

Basically I had a bike to overhaul, but I dont ride it much, and not under extreme conditions. I selected the basic package and they said that would be fine. Also they were willing to install a previously purchased inner tube and some fenders for free, as a courtesy.

The customer service was great. Ana greeted me at the door and offered to help right away. She was courteous and helpful, and when she didnt know the answer she asked Chang, the manager. Chang was extremely knowledgeable and both made me feel welcomed.

Pandemic appears to have increased business! Im usually pleased with my experiences here. Unfortunately this trip identified a policy I was unable to accept--leaving my bike here for an extra two weeks while parts arrived and for my turn in the service queue. I prefer to schedule the service once the parts arrived, similar to an auto repair/service shop.

Fantastic service for road bikes. My 2012 Giant Defy Advanced needed some work - a cable had snapped, my rear wheel was only an approximation of “round,” and new tires and bar tape were well overdue. The shop got all the work done flawlessly with great attention to detail, at a reasonable cost, and an excellent turnaround time. Not every shop has mechanics that can competently work on serious bikes owned by serious riders. These wrench-turners aren’t just assembling new bikes out of boxes and changing tires; they’re legit.

I dropped off an older mountain bike for maintenance. The mechanic was very helpful and gave the bike a quick check while I was there to recommend replacing brake pads and some worn cables. Nice selection of bike apparel and accessories in the shop to choose from as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The person assisting me and the mechanic were fantastic! When the mechanic was installing the kickstand and then observing adjusting the seat, he brought up that the bike I had already purchased may not last as long as we expected. The bike is a gift for my daughter who was close to needing the next size frame and they brought this to my attention, fully aware that I could leave the store without making a purchase. Once it was decided that I would purchase the bike, the person assisting me went out into the rain to help get the bike into the car. The integrity and helpfulness of the service at this store was exceptional. I will recommend to all in search of a bike in the Baltimore/Washington area. Thank you.

Purchased sons bike here three years ago. Brought it in for a tune up. Service staff very was friendly and knowledgeable. Price was fair but understandably amid this COVID climate, turnaround time was longer than expected (about two weeks).

My bikes back wheel became wobbly. Spokess technician did a good job explaining what it would take to fix. He recommended changing the whole wheel, which made sense to me. Id like to thank the Fairfax team that assisted in getting my bike ready to shred the trails. Although I did not purchase the bike in this location they were just as helpful when I came in to pick up my bike (Trek Fuel EX 8 XT). The lead service mechanic stopped what he was working on to answer questions and provide me tips on how to take care of my new ride. Great product and awesome customer service

I was very impressed with the attention given to me the second I walked into the door. I was greeted and got pointed in the right direction immediately and once I got to the service center they listened to what I needed done, worked up the cost of parts and labor, finalized everything, and called me later that day when it was done. Very smooth very professional!

They fixed a very trick situation very quickly for me. I had a tubeless tire that kept leaking. My mechanic friend could not get the tire off. I called Spokes etc. in Fairfax VA and they had a new tire that would fit. I brought in my rim and tire and they easily removed the tire from the rim, put on new tire, new sealant and had me on my way in 15 minutes. I was wrestling with this issue for 3 days with 2 other friends helping.Also everyone in store wore masks and enforced everyone coming in store to wear masks and practice proper social distancing. So Im very happy with Spokes etc. in Fairfax VA.

As many years I have rode a bicycle I really never got appropriate cycling shoes. Now more than ever I needed them for training. I knew I had to take a step forward somehow and get better cadance from my rides.Thanks to Tyler at Spokes for taking the time to properly fit me in my new Specialized hybrid cycling shoes with the BOA adjustment.I thought learning how to ride with them would be a challange but they really were a snap (no pun intended) and I did 12 miles my first day in them on my Diamonback with absolutely no issues!Also a big shout out to the installation guys for getting my new pedals for the shoes installed in literally 5 minutes.What a difference good cycling shoes make! I cannot believe I waited this long to get them.The entire team at Spokes got me fitted and riding successfully today with my new equipment and I averaged almost 2 mph average faster!Oh & Tyler if you should see this review I have an original Mongoose Sycamore (92 I believe) I use to mountain bike with long ago.

My wife and I were new to the bike market and went to Spokes and are so glad we did! We had been browsing around online for weeks trying to figure out what was the best option (bike) for us. When we went to Spokes, we weren’t pressured to buy a bike or one that didn’t fit our needs/wants. We were very pleased with the customer service and help we got. We will continue to go back to Spokes for all of our bike needs.

I truly love the customer experience of going to any Spokes Etc., and these days I feel even better about supporting a local company. Parker did an exceptional job tuning up our bike, especially getting the shifters to work smoother than they have in at least two years. The team here is great! We needed to replace a washer that dissapeared off a quick release axle so we jumped in line 20 minutes before closing. John came out to help and had us squared away in less than five minutes. Really appreciate the teams attentiveness and John being able to produce such a quick fix!

Dont give them your money for a new bike. The will tell you that they can get you a bike faster than anyone else because they had reordered a bunch from their distributes but its a lie. They cant get bike any faster than any one else and they know it. Theyre just trying to get you to put down money for a pre-order. DISHONEST! take your money somewhere else

Ive been here twice. The first time was to see if they could replace the tired on my electric scooter, which they could not. But the staff person was very friendly and carried my scooter back to my car for me.Yesterday I went there to get a tune up on my bike, which I hadnt ridden in a while and its been sitting on my balcony. A staff person helped us unload the car. A technician got to us within a few minutes and said we could browse while he looked it over. The bikes they sell are mostly not for the casual rider/spender. The adult bikes were upwards of about $2,000. As we browser, we were asked by three different employees if we needed help. Even though their bikes are expensive, the staff are very down to earth and friendly. I felt totally comfortable taking my $400 Fuji bike in there.Maybe fifteen minutes later, he told us that the bike was in great shape, he just made some slight adjustments and filled the tires. When I asked how much, he said he had plenty of air at his disposal and there wouldnt be any charge. Were thanked him and filled the bike out to the car. We realized that we didnt know how to take the front tire off, I went back inside to ask for help. An employee was super nice about coming out too show us how to do it.Overall, it was a great experience. Ill definitely go back there whenever my bike needs work.

Absolutely awesome service! With the current social distancing requirements, Spokes has had to adjust how the stores run, which could easily lead to problems. However, when I went there today for a small repair, they were doing everything they could to ensure things ran smoothly. A gentleman was outside directing customers based on what they needed (sales, service, order pickup, etc.) and making sure that the people waiting were taken care of. Everyone inside the store was hustling to make sure that the wait was as little as possible. They fixed my issue with no trouble and had my sons bike in working order in no time.

Also, I am not sure who came up with the procedure for shopping during the pandemic but is was super easy and well organized.
