AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE! Like many other people, we have been working from home and desperately needed a supportive and functional office chair. (The adorable one from Pottery Barn just wasnt cutting it anymore) Customer service was outstanding, but when we finally decided on a chair, the store had gotten got crowded and we were going to just order online. The online representatives were unbelievably rude and snarky in their responses. I drove over an hour to go back and order from the store and am so glad I did. The manager is an absolute GEM!

I purchased my SVAGO during the Pandemic. It has been a wonderful improvement in my life, getting my feet high after a long day of work. I feel its one of the best purchases Ive made. Thanks to the Healthy Back Store for ordering parts to repair my 20 year old Hermann Miller Aeron chair. Took a long time to get the parts from Hermann Miller, and Herman Miller themselves wasted my time when I reached out to them directly to get the parts originally. But, as it turns out, Hermann Miller requires you to go to a local dealer, even if you purchased directly from Hermann Miller as we did. The Healthy Back Store was extremely helpful getting the parts. One note: Hermann Miller has a policy that you install the parts yourself. Must be done by a dealer, and must be delivered to a dealer. So, even though this was a 10 minute repair, I was required to drive to the dealer to get the parts, and may well have been required to drive back again on another day to pick up, rather than just doing the 10 minute repair myself. That is a Hermann Miller policy, not a Healthy Back Store policy, and the store could not have done more than they did to make this a smooth process for us.

The people at the store are soooooooo nice and really helpful. They will price match for you if there’s a sale going on after you buy (within a month) and make sure you get the cheapest price!!! When I was placing an order through the phone the gentleman who helped me made sure the promotion was applied to my chair even though the website didn’t reflect. You won’t regret getting your chair from fair fax healthy back store!

After a year of full-time COVID-related work from home, my Ikea chair was starting to take its toll on my aging back. After some meticulous research, I ended up buying a Herman Miller Cosm via the Healthy Back website. When it arrived, I used it for a week before deciding that it wasnt quite right for my needs. (Its a beautiful chair, but the fact that you cant control the recline was a real dealbreaker if you want to spend extended periods upright at your desk to type). The Healthy Back team was extremely responsive and accommodating as I tried to figure out what to do. I ended up driving out to their Fairfax location to try out a few other options and landed on the Herman Miller Embody, which they had in stock. The two salespeople I dealt with were patient and extremely helpful.The next time I need any sort of remedy for my back—be it a new mattress or chair—this will definitely be my first stop.

Nick is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I went in there not quite sure of what kind of office chair I needed. I ended up with the X-Chair Vision. Its perfect for my needs. When the warehouse messed up with the delivery, Nick was always following up with them to make sure the chair would get properly delivered. He was always responsive and professional. I own 3 executive chairs some of which are 12 years old. I wanted to get the seat replaced in one since the foam is worn out. Even though the salesperson wasnt going to make a sale he took the time to get me the information on where to order parts and how to go about the process.Well it turns out the parts are no longer stocked due to the age of the chair. So I called the store on the phone and they processed an order for their newer executive chair with memory foam which is even more comfortable. Very good service!

Five years ago I bought a chair with a twelve year warranty. I brought it back to the store, and the repair process was super smooth.They happened to have the parts in stock, so I dropped it off Sunday and had a fixed chair on Monday.

Got a 4D Massage chair here and we love it. Use it every day! We had a 3D that lasted us 10 years. Still love our 3D but the 4D is incredible. Relatives fight over taking turns in the chair when they come over. Our salesperson was Guy, he was patient while we tried our different models and definitely suggested the right one for us.

Guy has excellent knowledge of typical back issues (sciatica). A non-commission based employee, Guy provides transparent and cost-agnostic guidance to help you evaluate, and identify, the products best suited to your specific needs. At no time were we upsold to the most expensive product lines. On top of that, Guy is simply a good, high integrity person.

If you shop around, theres a good chance you wont be disappointed with the pricing on some of their products. Also, staff are exceptionally helpful and not pushy. It seems like they only carry good quality products, which is really helpful in making an informed decision, since you can find so many bad products online that make it hard to tell what you should get. Highly recommend at least a visit if you need a mattress, office chair, or massage chair.

The first time I came in, Guy showed me how to sit properly and request the right type of chair at work. He wasn’t trying to oversell me. I was willing to spend around $2000 on a massage chair but Guy said that for my needs, a $900 massage chair that they had was probably a good fit. I had an excellent experience in the Healthy Back Store today in Fairfax. As I selected and purchased a new chair for my desk at the office, Guy, the manager, took the time to talk with me about my body type and needs and to explain the features of numerous chairs in store that would meet those needs. After I made my selection, he took the extra time to contact the delivery crew directly and managed to get my delivery set for same-day. And, they have absolutely the MOST AMAZING massage recliner chair next to the register! Treat yourself to a seat in that chair whenever you are in store.

I love this chair! Since getting this chair my back has not hurt very much at all. I am fused from S1 to T11 and I sat in a La-Z-Boy recliner most of the day. My back would hurt all the time. With this chair and the many positions that you can attain with the power control I have been very comfortable and virtually pain free. I really recommend this chair. It has heat which is great but I really would’ve loved massage along with it. But they don’t have that combination.

I bought a Zody office chair from HealthyBackStore about 8 years ago, and it served me fine. Recently I damaged the left hand rest - accidentally ripped it open. Called the store, hoping to purchase the damaged part. Nick at that Fairfax, VA store (a) found the part; (b) got it from the manufacturer at no cost to me; (c) also added the other hand rest, so they do not look different when replaced. Nick, thank you for your excellent service.

Visited the Healthy Back store just before Black Friday and met & discussed my needs for an office chair to use in a home office with Guy, the manager. After listening very carefully, he explained several options and demonstrated several types of chairs. When I explained that I alternate between sitting & standing, but do not have a standing desk, he demonstrated a desk sop that will sit on top of my desk & I can manually & easily raise & lower. Bottom line, I was able to return on Black Friday and get both an X chair (very comfortable) and the desk top on sale. Guy really knows his chairs and is interested in getting you what will work for you.Upon taking delivery of the chair, I found the instructions to be is very small print & difficult for me to read. Contacted Healthy Back on line & Franchesca, a very helpful, pleasant and efficient lady, sent me a PDF version which I can read in large print.Overall, an excellent store whose purpose is : Customers First.

I strongly recommend this place for anyone, and especially those with back issues. I had back surgery five years ago, and have had some complaints since that time. I went to this store to try out several office chairs for my job. Not only was I pleased with their selection, but I was impressed by the knowledge and experience of the sales persons, and in particular Guy Vindigni.

I came to buy an office chair in August 2015. The sales person was knowledgeable about the chairs but not about inventory/order program. It took 50 minutes from the moment Ill take this chair with a headrest to We will deliver it to your office in 4 weeks. My name and address were misspelled in 3 places though I gave my drivers license and a credit card. The chair did not come in 4 or 6 weeks, it came in 8! and a wrong one! Delivery guys immediately called the store and assured me that the store will contact me with a confirmation of the correct order. Nobody called. A month later, December 12, I showed up in a store and the manager had no idea about it. He spent another 15 minutes searching for the order and ended up assuring me that he will order a new one. Which meant to me that it was never ordered.I cancelled the order. Now they would not give me my money back until they pick up the chair and they are too busy to drive for 5 minutes from their store to my office the next 4 days.Other things that I It came across as unprofessional:1)The managers table, that is right in the middle of the store has piles of paper orders, old receipts overflowing to nearby surface of other shelves and tables. It looks trashy especially for a office furniture store.2) The chair was delivered without any instructions or manual. I do not ask for colored diagram, but the chair has 7 buttons that do modifications to the position. A simple follow up email with a manual. A link to a youtube... anything. I dont think I ask too much for a $1200 chair.

Im astonished at the selection of office chairs they have. Its a great place to test out all the top brands, and Guy is a wonderful man to work with.

I had been in the store one other time when I went in to see if they had a zero gravity type chair for our family room. The salesman was very knowledgeable about their products and let me sit for a while in all of them. I chose one I liked (Svago) and learned about delivery and service. I didn’t buy it then but went home and checked the internet for better deals. The chair I chose wasn’t cheap but, considering the price, delivery and service, decided to buy the chair from The Healthy Back Store in Fairfax. So, I went back and ordered the one I wanted in the leather/wood combination I liked. Delivery was on time, professional and friendly. I love this chair!!!

I love my new Armonia Technogel king mattress! It’s much better than a tempurpedic mattress. The gel is very cooling and doesn’t heat up the bed too much. Your back is very important to your overall health and well being and so this mattress is a great investment! I found Guy to be very helpful and knowledgeable in selecting the right mattress for our needs. The x2 office chair is also amazing!!! My back feels so much better after this new chair and mattress! I highly recommend this place.
