I have taken my car’s to be serviced just about everywhere you can imagine and for the most part I either get shotty service that may have been cheap at the time but cost me in the long run, or I get hurried and feel like I have been talked down to. So when the new car that was still under warranty broke down you can imagine the Anxiety. My warranty covered 2 places I could take it to so I called them both and Danco sent a tow truck to retrieve it. Jason quickly went to work figuring out what the problem was. So when he called to let me know it was finished unfortunately it wasn’t covered by my warranty! I was devastated. And that is saying it lightly. But thank goodness Jason worked with me which floored me. Big companies seem to just look at the money and forget about the ppl. Not here! They fixed my car, got me back on the road and I will never take my car anywhere else. So if your looking for quantity service and reasonable prices look no farther than Danco.

Danco changed my starter that I provided brand new in my Expedition. Then told me it was bad and that they put one in that they bought and charged me for the new starter. When I asked for my brand new one back so I could return it for a refund it was mysteriously missing. After much searching they decided they indeed installed MY starter and refunded me for the one they claimed to install. Ive driven the car 2 times and the starter goes out AGAIN, completely seized up. Go to Take the starter out and what do you know the top bolt thats super hard to get to is completely missing. Nowhere to be found! They never put it back in, just tightened the bottom two bolts super tight. Danco where is my top bolt to my starter? And had the nerve to call me and ask me to remove my previous review.

I bought the car from rightway the dealership your attached to and you check the cars 72 point inspection before they put it out to be sold. I have contacted the dealership and they blame you and you blame the dealership. I bought my car to be fixed you said it was then a couple months later it completely blew just seems funny to me.

3 stars only because of great customer service. Had taken my car to danco hoping they would fix my suv. The only thing fixed was band-aiding the suv and a reprogramming of the computer only to find out my suspension module was never even replaced after they charged me for a brand new one. I was referred this shop by a good friend I only to find disappointment. And weeks of my suv sitting on their lot untouched. Until I had to call and ask for updates which turned to me not having a car for a whole month. They will steal your money! They have lost my trust and thoes who they did wrong.

Most honest reliable auto repair shop around.

Several years ago I brought my truck into get serviced. I had a minor leaking rear differential seal. I had just removed the cover and replaced all the fluid myself so it was full. I left the vehicle and went to Jungle Jims. I came back and was told the rack and pinion needed replaced. The estimator would not let me take the estimate with me. I knew it was fine because I just looked at it so I left. I went home to find all my differential fluid had been drained! I had to refill it again and it cost me about $30!

Everytime Ive dealt with danco theyve left me waiting to get my vehicle without calling me when its ready. Ive been very unhappy Everytime Ive used their service. If it wasnt who my warranty was through I wouldnt go here.

READ UPDATE AT BOTTOM:First I would like to say this company has its good times and bad times. In 8/19/19 my transmission went out in my SUV had it towed there. They had it for a month. After me paying for a rental for 2 weeks they told me it was ready I sat in the lobby(the side that delt with the moving trucks) for 4 hours. Left work early to return my rental and everything. I was forgotten about while sitting there. I noticed they was closing poked my head out the door and thats when they realized they forgot about me. I didnt have my car nor my rental. But thankfully the next day they got me in a rental. That THEY paid for, for an additional two weeks. I read they have great customer service. I NEVER got phone calls. I ALWAYS called them. The only time they called me was when money was involved to get my loan situated.Exactly, a year and 4 months later my transmission goes out again. Theyve had it since 2/19/21, and was told today from a tech that they havent even touched my SUV. They always say they will call back, and never do. My boyfriend then called back they tried to transfer him to Joe. Joe never answered and never returned his call.I was thankful they towed it to their shop at no cost. I do have towing on my insurance so I could have gotten it towed. But there is absolutely no communication. Company is great at working with you when it comes towards the money aspect, but once they get their money the communication stops. I really hope my transmission doesnt take an other month to fix. During this covid I cant afford to get another rental so rides I gotta bump for now.Will post an update if and when I get one.UPDATE: They handled the situating great. They did a lot of extra stuff for me that was very unexpected. Thank you Joe for going the distance to take care of this situation.

I am forever a fan and customer of Danco Transmission. They battled with me and for me in a warranty issue for several months seeing it through and having the car repaired. Like most people, I dread taking my car to the shop. Holding tightly onto my purse as I walked in, as if they would just directly swatch the money out of my wallet, I was quickly greeted by happy faces. Joe and his team were easy to talk to and listened to all the very non-technical descriptions of my car concerns. They did a thorough diagnostic and fixed my check engine ight issue for under $150!!! I know not everyone will be.that lucky, including me at one of my next visits, but the honesty I found here was priceless. I will trust them implicitly with my cars from here on out.Its not every day you walk away relieved from the auto repair shop but I did. I felt respected, cared for and safe. In addition to being honest, they educated me. I feel much more informed on what to look for and keep an eye on so Ill stay safe in this car.I cant recommend them highly enough! Go Danco!

Car was towed in for a transmission check January 2021. Brand new starter from Autozone was provided and Danko was to install. Danko installed their own starter and charged me for the part and returned my vehicle March 2021 with my original brand new starter MISSING that could be returned to autozone. Danko says the starter was no good? Hmm 🤔 Now Im out the cost of 2 starters for my vehicle. And was told the parts guy isnt in.

They didn’t really fix are vehicle because they said they didn’t hear anything or feel it.But I mean it was Obvious and you could hear it but I think that neither of the two just wanted to pay for it but it was sold to me before service so I need to fix

I own a small local business with multiple trucks. In the last year we have had two of those truck go down because of transmission failures. Both were taken to Danco and within days they were back on the road which is very important. Every day those trucks are down, money is not being brought in. I cannot speak highly enough about the great customer service, quality of service, and how quickly they got us back up and going. I would recommend this company to anyone.

About 8 months ago my engine blew while under warranty. due to the fact that things were not replaced correctly or in a timely manner I had to get my vehicle fixed ASAP. where the mechanics at CarMax where the warranty was from couldnt repair the issues, engine replacement, they had caused Danco came to my rescue. their careful work on my vehicle and communication with me was phenomenal. flash forward 8 months, while the engine they had installed was under warranty with them there was a misfire in my cylinder. I brought in and they were able to have me back on the road with no more issues since. great job guys ill be seeing you hopefully not soon! I recommend this company!!!

I took my truck in on Tuesday morning around 11....it is Thursday morning 9 a.m.....they left my truck in the same spot i parked it and lied to us and gave us the run around saying they were looking at it and had it on the lifts etc and reasons as to why they needed to leave my truck sitting for 2 days trying to keep it! It was a simple tire issue. We wont be back! Just bad for business!

Its nothing personal about your shop but I see several a day in my line of work. So that being said majority of shops start bleeding together unless theyre exceptionally horrible.

Rented U-Haul. These folks went out of their way to help me out, great communication, lined up everything in advance, I literally just had to show up. Will do business with them again, should I need an auto repair I would gladly trust them and their above and beyond service.

Joe and the Danco Team provide great service, all around. I had the transmission on my 2002 Lexus RX300 rebuilt and they did a fantastic job. Joe and the Danco Transmission team worked on my 2006 Mini Cooper with a blown transmission in November 2018, replacing with a re-manufactured one, and its been running great since. I was in constant communication with Joe who explained the work being done and the price everything would be before it was done. No surprises and very pleased with honesty and good work that they did. I will definitely return to have work done on my car.

We found this gem of a company when they were listed as a preferred shop for a warranty repair on my sons truck, and Im so glad we did! My son was home on leave, in a time crunch and Danco was able to get the truck done and also waived part of the deductible as an appreciation for his service! This is a wonderful, family ran business, with great values and great service! Weve had several major repairs done on other cars since our first experience and have been extremely satisfied with the workmanship and pricing.

We had our Ford Freestar mini van serviced a few years ago after the transmission failed on us, it just completely stopped engaging one day. After towing it to Danco, we discovered that several of the parts in the transmission were severely damaged and we needed the transmission completely rebuilt. Danco did an amazing job of rebuilding the transmission over the course of about a week and we got the van back running like dream. We recently sold it for top dollar and the transmission ran like a champ since it was serviced. I highly recommend Danco and would certainly use them again.

I decided to have my transmission rebuilt on the advice of their employee. They stated that they replaced thousands of parts, Gears etc. They informed me that it was equal in quality and just as good as buying a new one. So I took the employees advice and opted for the rebuilt. Well long story short the transmission failed me again less than 3k short little miles after the warranty expired. So I called them to ask what we could do about this. They informed me that I was out of the warranty and there was nothing they could do. I said I went with the rebuilt on the ad ice of your employee. I would have happily paid the extra $300 dollars to have an extra 3 years warranty. They would not budge on anything. Then they have the nerve to send me a coupon saying sorry here is a free transmission fluid flush. Yeah Ill be sure to have my failed transmission you rebuilt towed to your business for a flush. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible customer service and shady business practices.

Love this place. This is my new car shop! I thought my car had an electrical issue. I called many shops and they would not touch it. The one that said they would said they would charge $86 per hour just to diagnose it. Then I called Danco  and a friendly professional voice greeted me on the phone. They told me they would diagnose it without charge. I towed the car in and it turned out to be an oil leak on the spark plugs. They got me fixed and on my way at a totally reasonable price. I am a lady that doesntand I know much about cars but I know good service and thats what this place is all about. They made it possible for me a single mom to give my daughter a good running car. Love the people, love the service, love this place and would recommend it to anyone, any day! Thanks Marty and thank you entire Danco crew!

I scheduled an appt with Danco on Feb 28 as my warranty on my car was set to expire on March 1. (My car began making horrible noises on Feb 26 of course and Feb 28 was the soonest they had.) Joe found out about my warranty expiring so quickly and wanted to get me in right away so we could get my car fixed under my warranty. He called me and asked me to bring my car straight over and if not he even offered to come get it for me! I brought it on Wed Feb 27 on my lunch break and they started diagnosing that evening. The next day he called me and got me set up with a rental car and on Monday they informed me my car should be ready by Thursday or Friday that week. They called on Tuesday and told me it was finished! I couldnt believe how fast they got it done. I told him I couldnt get it before they close due to my work schedule so he offered to bring it to me at work and take my rental car back for me! He informed me they did a few things on my car while they had it so that it was in great working order for me and even did an alignment at no charge! Then he told me he got my deductible waived so I felt like I hit the jackpot! My car has been running smooth ever since and Im so grateful for Joe and the entire Danco team for taking such great care of me and my car! Highly recommend!

I can’t say enough good things about the people and the company! When our 2013 needed a new transmission and we were quoted around $6,000.00 for a new one, we were at a loss. A friend of ours recommended Danco and it was our last effort before new car shopping. We are so happy with our decision! Danco did a great job repairing my Cadillac SRX with serious engine issues, at a fraction of the cost of the Cadillac dealer. They are by far the best independently owned car repair shop in the area. From the time you pull into their classy, clean garage, you know you are going to be taken care of well.

These guys are awesome. This is the first time i have ever had a repair shop hand me a bill $40 under their quote!! I am a car guy, i have rebuilt my own transmission, i went to them for their trans flush machine, but i never once felt like they were trying to talk me i to something i didnt need. Theses guys are trustworthy and do good work. Oh and the waiting room is the best. They have free wifi and the icing in the cake? They have an old Nintendo system and about 15 awesome old games you can play on their big screen TV!

We own a 2003 Chevy Tahoe that had a rear brake problem and a transmission problem. We took it in to DANCO and Donna the service (owner) writer had someone inspect the vehicle and we found that our transmission was worn out after 160K miles and our emergency brakes also were worn out. After a week or so the vehicle was back in “like new running order”. Since then they have worked on my 1989 mint condition Chevy S-10 Blazer to which I’m very choosy about the mechanics that work on it.Michael, their A/C guy is a class A top notch technician. James, a service technician kept me informed throughout my various visits. I can’t say enough nice things about this family and the team of people who that are employed by Danco.

Had my vehicle there was told I could keep there until i authorized repairs I called authorizing the repairs when my wife called to confirm with them she spoke to an older lady demanding the title to the car and she wasnt fixing it. And had our car impounded these people are crooks with majority of their emoployees poorly skilled there is a reason the dealerships are quickly looking faith in them

Since I dont live in the area, I relied on previous reviews to try to find a reputable shop to be my eyes. If I could, Id give 0 stars. They prided themselves on being a Family owned business, which is why we chose them. Worst decision. They fixed my clutch, got the car back and the very next day the clutch was stuck engaged and I couldnt turn the car on. I called them back immediately and they did come and get the car to fix it. They had it for about a week and a 1/2 with no communication. When I finally got the car back, I thought everything was good. On my way to work about a week later, my car started shaking on the highway. Turns out, that whoever repaired my clutch, did not tighten the lug nuts on my tire. The tire Then flew off my car. Which obviously could have seriously injured or killed me if it had happened on the highway, luckily it happened right as I got off. They have now had my car for 2 and a 1/2 weeks and have not once called me to update me. Their communication is God-awful. I will never recommend anyone to them or go there ever again. In the process of getting a lawyer

After 30 plus years of looking, I found a great mechanic. I take my work van and my sons car. I get the lifetime warranty with all the work, which make it more expensive, but it will be worth it since Im keeping the car and van for a while (not on lease). I did have a problem, but it was addressed immediately and resolved to my satisfaction.

THESE GUYS WERE GREAT. My van turned 100k and I thought I need my transmission flushed. They looked at the fluid and said it didnt. Imagine that, a repair shop honest enough to turn down work. They then check my break. Again, no need for work. So they rotated my tires for free. They were great. They even brought me back to look at everything under the van.In the end, they spent almost an hour with the vehicle and didnt charge me anything. AMAZING. I only wish I lived around here, I would go there everytime.

Ive been there several times, with good luck. But once you lose my trust, its gone forever. **UPDATE** I HAD my engine replaced a couple of years ago there. Today, I am replacing my water pump. Today I found out they left a bolt out of my power steering pump...===]> my reply. Youre the last ones that had it out. So yes. Im sure it is your fault. Not too much of a stretch. The thing that lost my trust is you said you replaced my throttle body and didnt for a charge of about $600. If i didnt catch it and say something, i would have been out money. So theres that.

I was refused service because I had already purchased my parts which I think is poor service. There was nothing wrong with parts I had and I made sure they were correct. I think this place was mad cause they could not make more money off of me by ordering the parts themselves.

Three years ago I gave Danco a try and Ive been with them ever since. From basic maintenance (belts, oil changes, flushes, etc) to replacing the rear end on my HD Suburban, they have dont nothing short of exceptional work at very fair prices. Their employees are great (I deal with Marty a lot...outstanding!) and they seem like a very kind family that lets their principles guide the way they operate their business.

As a previous employee of danco I can say that they are a very honest company that does honest and clean work.

I delivered my 2006 Jeep Liberty to Danco with all types of suspension issues, along with multiple (suspension related) dash lights occuring. I worked with the manager Marty who got my vehicle in, assessed the situation and provided me with, what I thought was, a very fair price and lead time. With the cost of the service lower than expected I had Danco take care of a few other items as well; such as draining and refilling the front and rear differentials in addition to the transfer case. Marty went above and beyond for that service as well, regarding price. Less than a week later I had my Jeep back and it was running better than it has for the past 2 years. Considering my previous mechanic (of 11 years) retired this summer, I feel its safe to say Ive found my new mechanic. Thank you Danco!!

I wish there was a way to attach my car fax report. They had my car a whole month didn’t really fix my issue. I was told that they were replacing the evaporator values but according to the car fax report they charged the ac. Which is super disappointing. I mean the car was still under warranty so they were going to get their money either way but to not do what you say your going to do is poor business. The ac still does not work as it should.

I had a guy replace the slave and the master cylinder and bleed it all before I took it. He could not fix it so I took it to Danco. Their response was that it was notoriously hard to bleed that model. Little did they know Ive had this happen before 2 years ago. The guy even told me it might go bad again. They charged 400 dollars for a new slave and for 4.5 hours of service. So Danco calls back and tells me its going to be 700 dollars for a new slave, new master and to bleed it all. Danco said there was some unknown milky white substance in the fluid; and that is why they had to replace the new slave and new master with another new slave and master cylinder. derrrr could it be water? So they call back again to milk some more; after being completely frustrated with the guy and asking for the new milky substance infested master and slave; he said it would cost over 900 dollars. I think they went all out because I had out of state tags.

I went to Danco this past weekend to get my car fixed. I am always worried when going to get my car fixed because I am a young woman who doesnt know alot about cars and I dont want to be taken advantage of. I found them through CarMax as they work with CarMax Warranties. Since my car is still so new and have very low mileage they looked up to see if my car was under warranty with the car manufactuer. It was! That warranty triumphed the CarMax warranty so unfortunately they were unable to do anything more for me than to send me to the manufactuer. Before I left Joe Stewart was really kind and went ahead and took at look at my car anyways, just to make sure it wasnt a small issue that could be fixed in a matter of 5 minutes. I am so thankful he took the time to check because it did turn out to be a small issue that was fixed in a matter of a couple of minutes! My car is good as new. Everyone I encountered thoughout the short time i was there were kind, respectful, and very upfront. I would recommend them to everyone!

The left rear tire of my 2009 Accord failed on I-275 at Mosteller and I needed a tow. Dancos service team put me in touch with a tow service that got me out of harms way quickly. Danco resolved the tire problem and took great care of my vehicle.

Joe is a generous honest business owner who will only fix what is needed. Priceless!
