I highly recommend Salinas Auto Care (SAC) for all of your automotive needs!Why? For starters, this is the only place I could find between Sacramento and San Francisco that would even take on this project. Other places I contacted where extremely rude and condescending… and would not even consider working on my car.I acquired a 1972 Toyota Corolla that I want to restore. The vehicle had been sitting in a garage for about 15 years. I found it covered with boxes and the interior was filled with plastic bags filled with who knows what. To make a long story short the vehicle had countless mechanical issues; additionally, the entire floor was rotted.SAC was able to troubleshoot and diagnose my problems, helped me source parts, and ultimately got the car running new it was brand new. They were even able to replace the rusted floor-pans with new sheet metal.Communication among all employees I came in contact with was very friendly. Everyone is courteous and feedback is thorough.Timeliness of work was exceptional!Labor rates are fair, I’d say on par with any reputable automotive shop. I don’t believe anyone around can compete with the value for the workmanship and customer service you can expect from Salinas Auto Care.

My husband and i were in a bind and needed our car worked on fast. The dealership was making us wait until the middle of the week and Salinas Auto Care got us in the next day. Not only that, but they charged us $600 less than the mechanic dealership quoted. They were honest and fast. I’d definitely be a forever customer if i wasn’t moving out of state. Our experience today could not have been better. Not only was the repair made quickly but it was done under warranty. Many promise and make guarantees, but this company delivers what they promise. Done business with this shop for years under previous management. Nice to see the new owners are just as reliable. I will send my friends, lets all get the word out, you can trust these guys.

Took 2 days time to install a 2 hour job. Fair labor cost. Wouldve given 4 or 5 stars if i wasnt blamed for the 1 day longer job coz i kept on calling them.

My experience was great they were very friendly and got us in quickly to fix my breaks. All was great until I went over a speed bulb and heard a clank in my left front tire then immediately had no breaks and couldn’t stop. The guy who worked on my car didn’t tighten my bults and they fell off.

I came here because of a suggestion from a friend. I really like the service. Owner is great and goes the extra mile. Even offered to shuttle me while he worked on the car. I choose to go here even though I live in Davis, that is how much I value the service
