Now that Einstein Bros. closed, these may be among the best bagels in Fairfield. Certainly they seem to have the best selection (including the elusive onion bagel). They carry quality meats and other fillings, and the service is as friendly as the food is tasty.

Top notch bagels and array of brealfast and lunch food options. I love their coffee. They have some of the excellent customer service. Food is served quickly.

A good bagel place that with a couple tweaks could be an amazing bagel place. The lox was some of the best and the bagel was great too, but service was subpar and they wound up getting my order wrong. Better luck next time I guess.

Great food and workers are friendly. But when busy, they tend to take the phone off the hook and forget about it. This has happened to me many times while trying to call in an order. I will call, get put on hold then hung up on. Today, I placed an order through DoorDash and it was cancelled because they couldnt reach them. Been trying for 1/2 hour and the phone is still busy!

I had such a bad experience when I went in for a quick lunch after leaving work. I really felt uncomfortable upon leaving. They definitely need to work on their customer service skills with customers. I wont be going back.

A great group of ladies here. Its hard to tell sometimes, but of the food-markers who insists that the secret ingredient is just a little bit of love, and genuine energy, I suspect they fall somewhere in the bunch. Maybe thats why my girlfriend cooks better than me.

I love the New Yorker on an everything bagel or flagel. They also have whole wheat everything bagels. Great food but can get expensive. The New Yorker isnt my every day breakfast but a great special treat.

Food was delicious. It was my first time going and definitely will not be my last. The gentleman that helped me decide what to actually order as so many things seemed so mouthwatering was super friendly, courteous, and extremely helpful. I ended up with the amalfi it was awesome to say the least. My mother went with the new Yorker also delicious... yes I had a bite lol. I recommend ! Although I do admit spending $21 on a bagel with cream cheese and lox and a petite panini with chicken and peppers seemed quite expensive in my opinion while delicious thats more expensive than I thought it should or would be 🤷‍♀️

Simple.Been taking my kids here for years for these reasons.Best bagels around as well as sliced to order sandwiches that are always of the utmost freshness and delicious.Staff is always professional, courteous, kind and flat out fun to the point of looking forward to seeing them.Very accommodating to whatever your finicky kids would like and always with a smile.More than worth it, a real treat.I would give 5 stars if it was free !But they do deserve it.Show them much love.

Village Bagels is a great spot for breakfast. I call my order ahead, a breakfast burrito with eggs over medium and then put the whole thing on the grill. Ive been going there for a few months and Ive always gotten speedy and friendly service.They have awesome breakfast special sandwiches, I also like the farmers special.

Ordered and paid for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a hard roll and it was horrible. The sandwich was missing cheese and the bacon was burnt scrapped bits thrown on the sandwich. Dont order this sandwich there! The muffins are served ice cold too.

This place is one of Fairfields best kept secrets . Always have an wide selection of great tasting bagels like a true NY deli would. Being a transplant from NY thats probably why I like give them a thumbs up. Been buying bagels and cream cheese here for 5yrs. Very good. Today decided to try bialys. Dont bother. Theyre not traditional bialys. In fact they are plain bagels with a hole going halfway through. then a load of onions dumped into space; and fall out when you try to cut the bagel. Tastes and looks exactly like a plain bagel. Bialys, they are not!

Great sandwiches and muffins. Arrived at 2:45 pm on Sunday to find the door locked...the door which had posted hours as open until 3:00 pm on Sunday, which is annoying...

So I told him about what he did he threw the bagel away and put on another glove and made my bagel again.
