DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE.This place will NEVER see another penny from me, Ive absolutely had it with their unwelcoming environment and ludicrous business practices.After this last-straw visit tonight, I Google searched what other hair supply options were available in town and found Crown 26 in Suisun. I spoke to the owner about my terrible experience with Maxx Beauty and she not only apologized for their poor service, but answered, in depth, several questions I had concerning hair bundle quality and product availability. AND its a black owned store! Ill be visiting tomorrow after work to check out what they have to offer.

I was purchasing items for a suck friend and needed some help. Everyone was soo helpful and answered my many questions. I had no clue what to buy and everyone hooked me up with everything i was wanting but needed advice and opinions on. I know i musta been a pain and took forever but they didnt mind at all.Very friendly kind people and i recommend them 100 % !!

First time here. Nice clean and organized. Not a huge selection of products but tons of hair and wigs. Prices were reasonable. Dont trip 1 person literally stands at the door and watches you.

Great place for basic hair care needs. They watch you like a hawk, Black folks in particular.

They will never receive any of my hard-earned dollars agsin.The man at the door was really nice and polite however, the older lady at checkout was not so accommodating, of course the hair product that I was buying was expensive, so I asked was there anyway I could get a discount, she said no, and I was all right with that, so I asked was this hair truly human hair because Ive bought hair that said 100% only to find out later that it was a blend, so I proceeded to tell her if this is a blend I like to bring it back, no bring back, I dont want no trouble okay so now Im bewildered! Was I just racially profiled? LolAnyway I know that my culture is at least 95% of her business, I was so taking it back I think she even overcharged me!Signed,Lesson learned💜

Lots of decisions to make when you go inside. Have the time to look around, there always there to help very nice people, love the communication and advice.Clean and reasonable pricesBut the human wigs are expensive.

Havent been there in a while. I was looking for some items for myself & a client and thought Id check them out. Although i looked thru the selection they had and the store was very clean, some items were definitely overpriced.

Ok the worst experience in a beauty supply store in CA. My daughter and I went into Maxx to get some hair products due to our recent move here to maintain our natural hair. Short story....my hooded hair dryer broke moving here and I required a new one. Went into the store was immediately greeted by a male and 2 females. Not paying any attention i proceeded to shop but my 10 year old noticed the man and woman were standing on the ends of the aisle watching us...she has never experienced this before but I have. I told her to overlook it. we arent stealing.. its done becasue some beauty supply stores experience a lot of theft in the beauty industry..mind you I have read reviews about this place dating back to 2012. . not very good but being that its the only place close enough without me having to drive to Oakland I took a chance to be a patron.I got what I need and went to pay for the dryer and other items we picked out. I asked the lady checking me out if there was anything wrong with the dryer could I bring it back and she said yes if there was an issue with it. I asked her if it was the only one you have in store. She replied yes. I am currently 37 weeks pregnant so I dont have time to be back and forth with COVID-19 added.. I get home start and finish my hair but when I am about to dry it the hair dryer is broken already!!! Yes broken. Luckily I was smart and took a video and pictures of my husband taking the dryer out the box.I go immediately to the store the next morning and was greeted and i addressed my concerns. She tells me she will give me a 65 dollar credit. I politely said no maam.. she said its our store policy or I can wait until they ship it off and return it or I can ship it off with the warranty myself... I said red flag. Its not my fault I received a product that was broken when I was told if any defects I could bring it back. No way I would have known about it being broken unless it was opened in the store. She proceeded to blame me for it being broken but had nooooo idea that I had the video of my husband removing it with pictures until I showed her. She was very defensive before i could make my arguments.She then proceeded to change her tune when I spoke of the bad reviews of their customer service and how they treat the community that try to support them and How this was a manufacturing or shipping defect and I am now being punished for something outside my control... it would be different if it was weave or products but its a dryer.... I am not going to spend 65 dollars in credit when I am a locked queen and rarely shop in The beauty supply unless needed.she made a phone call, told them I had a video and I received my money...I WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE.. I will take my coins elsewhere...

Really clean store, friendly customer service! Highly recommended! They have a wide variety of hair, the owner helped me match a Foax Lock that I was looking for! She didn’t hand them to me but she pointed me to where I might find them as it’s only her and her husband in the store so she Guards the front while her husband handles the register! Really nice couple!!!

My cousin and I just left there and we are guided like we want to steal their stuff. They didnt even allow my friend touch their wig. How are we going to buy stuff when we dont know the fiber.

I read the reviews before going in and was skeptical. I was ready with my guard up to let them have it, if I was followed. I was greeted soon as I came in. I asked for the hair I needed and was showed the direction. People were nice and friendly. I would be coming back again.

This is my go to hair place. I live in Vacaville but I will make the journey for the hair because theres so many different styles to choose from and great prices. They used to follow me around the store but if youve been there youll understand why. On their front door there are so many pictures of people who have stolen hair or hair products. Its nothing personal. They are just protecting their business. However, they dont follow me anymore because Im a regular and they trust me. They are sweet people and are always very helpful. I highly recommend this place.

They are okay, not too many of the latest styles in wigs, and you cant try on any of the lace front wigs, thats different, other stores allow try ons. I think they would get a greater base if they allowed try ons. Otherwise they have an array of other products such as shampoo, gels, hair care, as well as costume Jewelry and makeup.

The most racist place in Fairfield! The Chinese man watched me from in between the wigs on the next aisle over that I was on! I went to another isle and there he was again! Finally I came towards the front and all of a sudden he wanted to start fixing hair over there. I put my stuff down...that’s ridiculous

Could be me being paranoid but pretending to fix things every aisle were on is stupid. If I were going to steal I wouldnt come in with my pregnant wife and holding my daughter
