This is the best Big Lots Ive ever been to. First of all they get an A+ for following the states guidelines as far as every employee was wearing a mask. Social distancing was practiced by customers. I felt very comfortable and safe while shopping.Second, the store was clean, organized and easy to navigate through.Third, and I saved the best for last. The employees were exceptionally helpful. I say exceptional because they truly enjoyed doing their job and being helpful. They went above and beyond to help me find a desk that I only had a photo of on my phone. They helped me find the accessories to go with it and helped put the desk into our vehicle in the pouring rain mind you. I would say 4 employees helped me in a way Ive never seen in any other Big Lots. I would like to thank Sharon, Nelson, Kimra and one other kind lady that I did not catch her name for your kindness, helpfulness and I will go out of my way to shop at your store from now on because of your exceptional customer service. Thank you! 😊

I love the big lots in fairfield oh, always stocked and team is always helpful. The aisle are very spaced out, very easy to find what your looking for. Cashier Ms Sharon friendly and very good customer service, which is why I like this store... Not to mention sales and discounts.

Go there every couple weeks or so for household items or whatever is on sale. Their prices have gone up in the last year, so they arent as competitive as Walmart, but they are close to home. Nice people work there.

Guarantees delivery, you take off work and they can’t do it and the associate on the phone could care less. We spent an hour trying to purchase this when this company found it more important to take down a display than to check out the line of customers. This store has no leadership or competent management.Would be a good place to open a store if someone would work it

The furniture section is huge, but they don’t have a good stock of it. They didn’t have any recliners or tv stands in the back. Also the staff spends more time talking to each other than helping customers. Even at checkout.

They got rid of baby stuff just put in more furniture

The store was clean and the cashier was friendly. The furniture salesperson was friendly and watched as we left. In fact, he came out to the parking lot ensuring our safety. There was a man in the parking lot that was acting sketchy. If it hasnt been for those employees I would have given one start.As we entered the store a rather large man, both in stature and in bad manners, greeted us with, We close in 3 minutes. What do you want? He then promptly watched us, even walking back to where we were.Was he going to be late for a date? Ok, maybe kids were sick and he needed to get the hospital. Dont know.Im just glad the other employees had a better disposition.Ill still go back, and probably give some direct non-punishing feedback.

My girlfriend and future wife works there so that reason alone makes it a five star place. Besides that they have good prices and some unique items.

Re model is nice. Everything is easy to find and I enjoyed my conversation with a newly hired employee, she was stocking things by the pet aisle. I wish I could remember her name. Anyway, it was a pleasant shopping experience.

Havent been to a Big Lots for years so I decided to stop in. Store was really well organized and clean. Employees were helpful and really nice. I bought several things because they were having a 20% off weekend. Employee helped me sign up for a rewards card and I saved even more. Will definitely be back and recommend it for a visit.

Great place to shop great deals and very friendly and professional staff always there to help with anything if needed. Theres one guy that works there Daniel Bowling that goes ABOVE AND BEYOND when it comes to helping and being on the spot when somebody needs anything at all everytime Ive shopped there. Definitely recommend this store to EVERYBODY!

I love this place to home decor and the people that work there are just fabulous. Its just an awesome place.

Very clean. Easy to find what youre looking for. We were checked out by Jeanine (I think this was her name) she had a fantastic attitude. She signed us up for the rewards program and managed to keep her smile even though I kept giving incorrect info on accident.

Great place to shop. Staff are very friendly. The store is clean and well organized. Make sure to check the clerance section for great finds that you can combine with manufacturers or store coupons. The food clearance is at the back of the store near the fridge section.

Was able to find what I went into get with no problem. The cashier was very nice. We talked and laughed while she was checking me out at cash register. 😀

For once they didnt have what we needed. That doesnt happen very often. They were having a storewide 20% off sale. We needed one of those big cat trees. They only had a medium one. Better luck next time. But, by the time we got done it looked like our usual weekly Walmart run.

Its pretty much what youd expect at big lots. You can find some pretty great deals. Its also nice if you only need a couple items and want to avoid the bigger crowds at places like Kroger and Meijer (if they happen to have what you need). Staff is very friendly.

Was pleasantly surprised at how organized the store is. Prices were up a bit....

We like to explore this store with the kids on lazy weekend days. Theres always some fun, cheap finds. The furniture part of the store has some decent low cost furniture that holds up fairly well. Its good for tight budget, college living, or the stuff you want to use for the kids until they get out of the destructive phase. You can also find nice storage furniture and bins, too.Theres always good candy, interesting and weird snacks and drinks, and some normal dry goods to buy. Pet toys and accessories are a lot cheaper than the pet store. We leave here with a variety of stuff usually - flavored water, garbage bags, usb cords, jelly beans, toys, baby food, picture frames.. who knows?!

The best selection was the groceries and the furniture we were looking for a grill but they didnt have any but a $200 propane grill left other than that its a neat store to look into
