Over Priced is relative. Here in Fairfield everything is over priced. The stock is second to none within a 45 minute (both ways) drive. Helpful, knowledgeable, respectful folks work here. While lower prices would be nice, Id rather support local owned and staffed stores. NOT Over Priced for the value provided (product and location).

Classic American hardware store. Go here first. Dave and Rock know their stuff. I always leave with what I needed and the advice I didnt realize I needed. And I walk out their door standing taller and walking proud to have experienced the kind, honest, warm, knowledgable staff in a rare, great American small business.

This business has existed in our community for many years & they carry many items that other local bigger stores dont even carry. Going to this store you get a much more personal service & they really listen to their customers & take much more interest in helping you get exactly what you are looking for.

If you hate going to the huge big box stores like Menards and Home Depot, you should love Luckmans. The floors are the same well worn hardwood that was original to the store, the merchandise seems in a veritable chaos of disorganization, but the staff can figure out what you really need and put their hands on it in an instant. They will actually listen when you ask a question and really try to help. Stores like this are disappearing much too fast. Drop in and check it out.
