The young men that work there were very helpful and knowledgeable, especially Andrew. He diagnosed my problem and replaced my battery.

Purchase a gold battery with a 36 month warranty only to have it die in 18 months. When I purchased a new battery to take to the vehicle which was left stranded due to the dead battery I was told I could not get a proration on the battery. Brought the battery back to the store got the same line and they were nice enough to take the core off my hands for no charge. Dont use these guys.

Typical Advance Auto store. If you want something, you can almost always get it cheaper online by ordering it on Advance Autos website for in-store pickup; they always have discount coupons. My only complaint is their free OBD scanner does not have ABS capability.
Staff are professional and educated. Highly reccomend over OReilly s!!! These guys go the extra mile and they price match.

My family and I were traveling to Fairhope, AL for a couple of days. I ran into an emergency where the rear seat belt on my rental car locked up and we could not release it. We stopped at Advance Auto wondering how we would ever release the seat belt and we determined I need a 50mm torx tip with a ratchet. I knew i was getting ready buy a part that I would never need again. When I stopped in the store, a kind gentleman asked if he could help us and immediately knew what I needed. He loaned me a tool for 10 minutes and just that quick our familys emergency ended. I appreciated the great customer service and support. Thanks so much for helping us out in a difficult time!
My Sisters tail light went out and I am from out of town visiting my Mom in Thomas Hospital. I had no tools and just wanted to get it replaced & done for her. Called Advance Auto Parts and their customer service stunk...Advance said, when I asked if they could help replacing the bulb, we sale bulbs not replace them. I then called Oreilly Auto Parts, talked to Jamey, and he said, come on down well take care of you...Got there and Chase grabbed 2 tail light bulbs, slapped em on, and was professional and delightful. Oreilly Auto Parts just won my familys business for life. And well, as for Advance, Ill drive by your store, are just stop in and ask were the closest Oreillys is...
Unfriendly staff not in least helpful. I went in to buy a headlight lens restorer kit. Wandered around the store for a long time looking for it. Several sales clerks were in the store and not busy. None offered any assistance. I finally found the product and took it to the counter. Without any greeting, the clerk took my purchase and my debit card and rang it up. The total verbal exchange consisted of him saying pin number and pointing to the machine. I put in the number and he shoved the receipt toward me. No thank you, nothing, nada, zip. In the future, Ill spend my money elsewhere.

The staff at this location are very disrespectful and unfriendly, two in particular. one employee asked me if I went to a middle school in Robertsdale. I replied no I schooled else where. He gave me a weird suspicious look and has been side looking me ever since, like a child. the other I believe is management and has a bad case of gum something. He trys to give me mechanical advice like hes a mechanic....hes a parts salesman. This same mechanic parts salesman has fought with an other employee in front of me. Like a child the other manager perked up went to a cash register and asked me if he could help me, all while the other two were fighting. I replied yes. He checked me out then I asked if a carburetor would fit on my truck he said it would only fit on a four barrel intake manifold. I said may truck has a four barrel he said no it doesnt and if it does someone put it on there, like a d**k. the ka24e d21 comes stock with a four barrel. maybe it fit maybe it didnt. he didnt even check. One more, person number four. Walked in nobody at the cash register. except this guy in the back at the parts counter area. He said can I help you. I said sure, I have a 91, then he cut me off and said, come back here. no please no sir just attitude. I went back their thinking why do I come to this store. asked for the part paid no thank you, have a day, good doing business with you, nothing. Seriously Dysfunctional Organizational Culture.( AKA - D**k heads. )
