My fridge died unexpectedly and I wanted to replace it. My problem is that we are very limited with options because of our cabinet surround. We cannot fit a refrigerator taller than 65 inches. We walked into American freight and immediately found a fridge that fits within the parameters. Purchased it and set up delivery with no hassle. Employees were great. Will definitely be back, thanks
August 7, I saw what I really wanted and was told that set is not that popular, so I went back August 14 during tax free weekend to purchase. I Brought 5 pieces and was told delivery was 3 weeks out and don’t assemble. I asked about third party delivery and apparently their delivery services don’t assemble either. I still chose to buy the set to pick up in a week. I showed up on the 21, exactly a week and I was told they did not have that set anymore, even though I already purchased it. I had to pick another set. I will never come back or refer anyone to that place. Imagine getting your house ready for this level of dissatisfaction.
The store staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable they are not the pushy kind of sales people. Excited to see more of a variety in the furniture and mattress. Big plus that the store has everything available and we do not have to wait unlike other stores who do not have things in stock. Only thing i miss is the store not having grills. They always had a great selection and great prices. Would recommend this store to my friends and family.
Do your homework before purchasing anything from here price wise. I didnt until after purchasing, but had no issues returning the items for my cash back. I was surprised with the variety of items they had at the time of my first visit here. Like any discount store, they dont keep the same items in stock for long. If you see something you like, you should grab it while you have the chance because theres no guarantee how long itll be there. As for the Craftsman tools they did have, they werent worth their asking price. Pay close attention at the check-out, to get any discounts applied before you pay. If I hadnt been paying attention, I wouldve ended up with at least an additional 45% MARK-UP, instead of the 40% OFF that was advertised. When I did look the discounted item up online, I saw it was being sold for even less at another location. Five days later, I took the unopened item back to be returned with my receipt. The salesman needed some assistance to process the return, but everyone was pleasant and he gave me my cash back with a new receipt without any issues. All the salespeople were pleasant that I interacted with at this location. I dont know the details of their affiliation with Sears, but I believe they are owned by a different company and they might be changing their name soon, but please dont hold me to that information.
It was a great time and experience and they have great people that works here and they do amazing work and care about the customers I would recommend this place to anyone looking for appliances or living room set.
Worst experience at a retailer I’ve had. Went here to purchase a dryer since mine died. We paid for everything there, no financing, including delivery fee/insurance . We were told it would be 3 weeks out for the soonest delivery. A little inconvenient, but fine. We changed our work schedules around to make it work, and were told it would be the last delivery of the day. Awesome - I called the day before to make sure of the TIME so we would be home - and was told that we weren’t on the schedule at all and “to just pick a new day”. I was annoyed obviously, they took no responsibility for any of it. “I don’t know what you want me to tell you “. Like, seriously !? I told the lady on the phone (Rita who is who i dealt with in purchasing also) that on top of all of this you guys weren’t even going to call and let me know? Is that ok to you? Is this how you operate? She says “YES I GUESS THIS IS HOW WE OPERATE”. Told me to call in the morning to talk to Kayla a manager. Called 20+ times with no answer - finally get in contact and she is no help either - says I’m booked for delivery Tuesday (which was never booked they clearly booked that last night to cover they a**). Did nothing to help so I cancelled my order and will NEVERRRR buy anything there again and will tell anyone who asks. I’ve never dealt with that amount of incompetence in my life.
Just left American Freight and had an outstanding experience. It was our first time there and we will definitely be back. If you go look for John, very knowledgeable, attention to detail with quick service.
I feel they are extremely expensive with their warranty.. I went to look for a washer and dryer, their prices are okay depending on the item, you have to be careful when looking especially on line they show items but when you look further they are not always as they seem to be, I feel that they get you in with their so called low prices but most items are either not available locally or they are refurbished and up there in price or they are scratch and dent again up in price. Also they charge a lot for delivery if not in your local store, some times over 200$ so are you truly getting a deal? I’m gonna be looking for bedroom sets in the next 3 months so we will see?

Has some nice things but everything is incorrectly priced. I went to buy a chest and dresser, the dresser had two price tags one for $499.99 and one for $649.99. I ask an employee which price is which and he tells me in the system its listed at $749.99. I ask if they will honor either of the other prices and they said no.
If I could rate a zero, I would. The only good part of that store was the delivery men. All the managers on staff, youd think there would be better customer service. Rude, inconsiderate and incompetent was what we got.

Worst customer service ever. I normally do not complain but this place is horribly run. I ran a furniture store for a few years and know how things should be run. Ordered last week, picked my delivery day. Called Friday to confirm it was still tuesday this week, got a confirmation. Tuesday rolls around sat here all day nothing, called twice during the day just to see if they knew about what time and just kept getting the delivery drivers will call 15 min beforehand never asked for my name or order number. At about 5 I called just to see if maybe the truck broke down or something (it does happen) Got a different woman on the phone super nice and she told me I was scheduled for thursday and picking the day online means nothing. Okay well then why didnt anyone inform me of this? She did not know. Now it is Thursday and still no couch. I purposely did not call all day because I didnt want to seem pushy. The delivery window is up until 3 so I waited until 345. GUESS WHAT, they changed my delivery day again without a phone call!! Awesome. I am sure they are nice in the store and it is easy if you want pick up but their delivery system is so out of whack and customer service with phone calls is at a zero! HEY AMERICAN FREIGHT stop being cheap and use Dispatchtrack!! Then you can manage deliveries!
I got my bedroom set from there the staff was very helpful and friendly. I also bought a fridge from there I wasnt to sure about what I wanted but the staff answered all my questions and helpee me pick the right one..

Ordered a dryer because with the wait time on appliances at the big box stores, I assumed that it would be delivered faster. Order placed on 9/13. Dryer couldn’t be delivered until October 3. Dryer was delivered and plugged in. They didn’t connect the dryer vent hose. Didn’t bother to tell me it wasn’t connected either. Turned it on for the first time and the thing makes an unbelievable racket. Called American Freight and was told it could be returned or we could call the manufacturer. The hassle of the whole experience Was not worth the small amount of money saved.

I have been trying to buy a furniture from your Fall River store for 3 weeks with absolutely no luck. I came in today and was helped by John and was finally given the service I expect from the company. He was knowledgeable and patient and helped me purchase my living room set..
Kind of a strange place. Sometimes there are great deals and sometimes there are not. Went looking for a refrigerator a couple of weeks ago. Most of the fridges had dents and scratches, then there were some that looked like they were thrown out of the back of a truck doing 90 miles an hour on the highway but yet were hardly discounted. Ive seen cars that crashed in high speed chases look better. Basically a hit or miss place.

I will never ever purchase from the Sears Outlet again.Purchased a refrigerator on Sunday, the delivery was scheduled for that Tuesday, the one day out of the week they do the local deliveries. Took the day off from work since I was told it would be delivered between 12-2PM. Received the confirmation call Monday night to confirm the delivery time for the next day. After 2:00PM on Tuesday I called the store for an update to be told the delivery driver would call me shortly for an ETA. Never once received a call from him or the store. I called the store again around 3:00PM to be told the same thing. After 4:00PM I called the store again to be told the refrigerator was never even put on the delivery truck to be sent out for delivery. Their excuse was the warehouse personnel could not find the refrigerator the night before and decided to tell no one about it. So here I am out a day of work for absolutely no reason. The best they could do for me was schedule the delivery for NEXT Tuesday, even though I live 15 minutes away from the store. Unbelievable. People don’t do their job correctly and yet the customer has to suffer?
Bought a washer and dryer from them years ago and they still work like new! Got a great deal because they had a few dents down bottom ( all cosmetic damage ) paid for delivery and set them up myself! Highly recommend!!

Went to the store today to buy a top load washer and a dishwasher and after looking around for five minutes was told I could not be in the store without a mask. I explained I have a health issue but was still told no. The kicker was the guy working there was telling me this with no mask on his face and said he worked there so it was ok for him. Needless to say I took my money elsewhere.
Every time I go to Fall River Massachusetts this store Sears Outlets always close they open like 10 in the morning it would be nice if they will open at 8 a.m. in the morning

Decent prices and selection. They offer delivery services, but the downside to that is they arnt able to build the items like a bedroom set for example. Staff if friendly if your looking for a major home appliance and dont mind it having a scratch or small dent then come here.

Sears outlet in fall river was a great experience picked up a nice fridge after a few years the ice maker let go. So I called Sears service department they gave me the run around I had a service technician come to my house 4 times but still couldnt fix this issues and treated us like we were a product and didnt care.I was starting to lose my cool but I went to the Sears outlet store in fall river where the staff is very professional and willing to work with you to fix the problem.Troy is the manager he made me and my family feel like we were priority #1 he did everything to fix the problem well he did and we have a new fridge being delivered soonI wanted to send this thanking the staff of Sears outlet in fall river they treat you like family.Thanks Troy

Prices are good....but when we purchased a new stove/oven, we were not told that WE NEEDED to provide our own electrical cord from our previous stove and attach it to our new stove! Ridiculous!!! As far as I can remember, all kitchen appliances have ALWAYS come with the electrical cord attached!!!!

Went here to buy toolbox that the website said the had in stock ....... but it wasnt in stock ........ it was recommend that I purchase it on the website and have it shipped to the store so I did .......I recieved a phone call from the store stating that they didnt have it in stock and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel the order .... when I told him that it was being shipped to the store he then checked and realized that.......... now I am still waiting for it to come in 2 weeks later.
In the past, it was a good alternative. Check prices at other stores to verify options. Sometimes they have good deals. Just check.
The actual Sears outlet was not my problem. Aceptencenow is the issue. Talk about thieves... I signed what I thought was a reasonable deal with them to find out 3 months later they are robbing me blind! Rent-A-Center would give you a better deal and be way more helpful.
The delivery was scheduled a week after the purchase. I left work early because the time didnt really work. The delivery guy who didnt speak clear english called and said he would arrive in 20 mins. I waited and nothing. I decided to call back and no answer. Then i called sear outlet and they said he already delivered. He didnt so they said they would reschedule me in for next week. Another week without a refrigerator. No thank you. When they refunded my money onto the credit card i had purchased with, it was one penny short. So i then had to pay my credit card for a balance of one cent. I went to Stan & Pauls and they delivered the same appliance for a much cheaper price the very next day.

Wanted to get an idea of what they had for fridges, might be getting one in a few weeks . We did go in for a washer which we managed to pick out all on our own .

Why pay full price if you arent entering your appliance into a beauty contest. A little scratch or dent doesnt change the futon if the device. Only down side is that the price doesnt change from a small scratch to large, obvious dents. Still hasnt stopped me from going back.

My boyfriend bought me a stainless steel fridge from the acceptance now part of sears outlet. The ice maker on it stopped working so we scheduled an appointment for our ONLY day off. The time frame was from 1-5 and at 4-30 it changed to 6pm. I called and complained. The appointment was rescheduled for today(6/29/16) and I was told that I would be the first appointment because I made them aware that I had to go to work. At 6:15 this morning I checked my email only to read that they wouldnt be at my house at 8am but they would be here between 10:45am - 12pm. So I called them and they had me down for 11am. Then I was told that she would have the tech call me as soon as he received the message. 8:15am comes along and no tech and no phone call. So I call again, only to get numerous apologies that they DONT mean at all. And they told me that they cant guarantee for me to be the first appointment. UM YES YOU CAN IF YOU LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! Needless to say I will be going to buy ice cube trays because they cant seem to show up at a timely manner when people have to be at work. WORST SERVICE EVER! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL!
HORRIBLE. Payed for a fridge to be brought to my house and placed inside and they left it in the front with no box just for anyone. Not to mention it never came the day it was suppose too and they gave me a huge run around when I called. Its like nobody has a damn clue what the hell to do. Everytime I called to speak to the boss she was always in the bathroom and would never receive a call back. Definitely will never go there again.

Terrible. Delivery company is sub contracted and is awful. They will tell you that you can schedule your delivery, but they lie to get you to buy the item. When I tried to work it out with the delivery company they were rude and would not budge on the day they were dropping it off. They said they dont know why the salesman even told me that. I then agreed to THEIR day. The day of scheduled delivery which I had to leave work to revive, they called me saying the truck was in a accident and it would then be another day THEY chose (which I could not get off work). I called Sears outlet they were useless. They kept saying they would have the Mgr call me. He/she never did and when I called them this mystery person was never available. About a week later when I was moved into my new home without a fridge I went elsewhere and bought one. I went to Sears outlet in person and told them I didnt receive my fridge and delivery which was paid for and that their service was a nightmare and I wanted my money back. They offered to give me PART of my money back and said to call a 1800 number to get the rest. Well I told the Mgr who was magically there when I went in, that this wasnt gong to fly and he threatened me but eventually gave me a full refund... Ridiculous! Worst retail experience this far!

I went into your Marian bishop Blvd store in fall river ma tonight, September 10th around 6pm. Looked at washer and dryer for around 10 minutes, while an older salesman was helping a couple out and a younger woman and man who both worked there had a conversation together while standing at other appliances about 20 feet away from me.I approached them and asked them a question about pricing after I looked (keep in mind they saw me and never asked if I needed help). I went back to the washer and dryer I wanted and stood at it for another 15 minutes (no exaggeration). No one during my whole time at the store greeted me or asked if I needed help. I was prepared to spend a $1000 dollars on appliances, but do to there lackluster effort to provide customer service I left.On my way out I made them aware of my readiness to purchase and the reason why I didnt (their awful customer service). I will be taking my business elsewhere. The complete negligence by your staff at this store really does an awful job of portraying your store. Word of mouth in a small town goes a long way.
At all cost.....stay away from the Fall River store.They took my $2000.00 and shipped me a dead rerigerator. I lost all my food on hand. The dead refrigerator is sitting in the middle of my kitchen and I have no solution to my problem. Four days later Im out about $2600.00 in lost food, travel time, and shipping cost.When I call the store (they must have caller ID) the hang up on me. 30 calls 30 hang ups.A call to the corporate office....and no reply from the regional or district manager.I get better service from my trash collector than I do Sears outlet store.

Went there 2 months ago bought a dryer no problem at all with the salesman or the dryer so far went there today to buy a refrigerator walked around for 45 minutes sales people walking right by us didnt ask us if we needed help to we were walking out the door I said we needed help why we will looking at the fridges were all set now have a nice day and we left

I guess when the management is as bad as the workers, you can only expect the same. Spoke to three different Managers over the span of three days and none had a good solutions to their recognized mistake. I would mention names but they seriously need to get their act together. Horrible!
Stop in to see what kind of deals they had. And they had quite a few. I would be very disappointed if they went out of business. Large selection of appliances here. Something for everyones budject.
