I loved working with the ladies at Carmens Fashions!! They were wonderful and patient in helping me select my wedding dress. I must have tried on 15 dresses, and I ended up sleeping on it and coming back the next day, but they were so lovely. And then they were great doing all the alterations and prep work so that my dress was perfect and beautiful on my wedding day, not to mention holding the dress for a whole year due to COVID. It was sad to say goodbye that last time, knowing I wouldnt see them again (at least for a while). But I was so glad to have found this dress store and am thrilled with how everything turned out. Highly recommend!

Carmens is the best around! They have friendly staff that go beyond your wildest dreams. They accommodate all body types and have a variety of styles to choose from. I was highly pleased with their professionalism.

Third bridal shop I went to, I wasnt feeling the other dresses, they were beautiful, but not the one I dreamed of. Ill my sisters said you just know when you put it onComing from a Portuguese family who all have their own opinions, but want me to be happy.Mary Jo was amazing ❤️! She didnt pressure me into making a decision. She was very supportive and gave my 6 year old neice a job so she would fill included.Thank you for helping me find my dream dress!

I bought my wedding dress here some months ago. Although the dress was already beautiful, they were willing to work with me to alter certain things to make it my dream dress! I absolutely loved it!

A small bridal shop with many dresses to choose from. Altercations come with your purchase which is a nice perk! Make sure you take photos so you know what alterations are done and what you want and don’t want at each appointment so it doesn’t change.I would highly recommend checking them out.

I don’t even know where to begin with Carmens. I found my wedding dress here on the first appointment I made. They were so helpful and made me feel comfortable. My dress fit like a glove! It was strapless so I was nervous but the assured me it would not move all night and it didn’t. The bridesmaid dresses were beautiful and they made the girls feel so comfortable. One of my bridesmaids had a baby and they had to put a whole extra piece of her dress and you could not even tell! They even helped my mom out who was not happy with her experience at another place and they made sure her dress fit perfectly as well.

We absolutely loved the dresses that we found here but the experience and service we received was absolutely horrible! They never once asked us if we were happy with the changes in alterations. They made alterations to one of our bridesmaids dresses that we did not even ask for and they did not even fix one of the other issues with the other dress. When we brought up our concerns we were fed excuse after excuse and not given any satisfactory solutions. We ended up leaving with the dresses as is to get them altered somewhere else.

I cannot say enough about my wonderful experience at Carmen Fashions Bridal! I was delighted with the attention and care that I received during my appointment. I went to a few other salons and nothing came close to the selection or the customer service of Carmen Fashions Bridal. I didnt feel rushed or pressured. Mary Jo took the time to get to know me and ultimately picked a wild card dress that was nothing like what I thought wanted which ended up being perfect dress for my December wedding. If you live within several hours of Fall River, Massachusetts you definitely need to stop here when looking for the perfect dress!

I was completely obsessed with a dress they had in their store window and made an appointment after going by their booth at a bridal show. I went on 1/31/2017 with my mother and future mother in law and what an amazing experience. I tried on the dress I had come in for and it didnt live up to my expectations, but my consultant was super sweet, patient and kind in helping me find other options that I would like. After trying on about 6 or 7 dresses we narrowed down two dresses that looked the best. My consultant as well as the owner were not pushy in the slightest and offered up their honest opinions instead of telling me what they thought I and my mom and future mother in law wanted to hear. I had such a fun time at Carmens getting to try on dresses and not feeling rushed or like I could only try on so many before I had to pick something. Once I was sure I had my dress my consultant put on a gorgeous veil and headpiece and thats when I knew it was my dress. Once I said yes to the dress we were served champagne and got to hang out for a bit and enjoy the moment. I have nothing by amazing things to say about Carmens Bridal. Its truly a diamond in the rough bridal store and I recommend any woman getting married to go to Carmens where they treat you like a beautiful bride instead of just a sale.

They to refuse to care for the elderly and the disabled in that there isn’t a dressing room with a place to sit.And.... There isn’t a dressing room big enough for a wheelchair. 😐Please get creative and figure this out. ♥️

I finally found the perfect dress at Carmen Fashions Bridal! The women who helped me dress were elegant and professional and when I said yes to the dress they popped a bottle of champagne for us to toast. It was a wonderful experience for my sisters and me. Thank you ladies! Pictures coming soon!

Excellent experience today. The women there were very nice and knowledgeable and she really got to know what looked good on me and personalized the whole visit. The selection is far better than other places and the quality of the dresses are superior, everything was just so beautiful.Overall I highly recommend any brides to be to go to Carmens for a truly wonderful experience where youll definitely find the dress you love.

I had been searching for my dream dress within my budget for a few weeks and was beginning to feel discouraged. After leaving an appt at a nearby bridal shop my mom had the idea of popping into Carmen’s just to take a look around after a recommendation from a coworker.I had pretty much narrowed down everything I wanted in a dress and Mary-Jo nailed it. The alterations are included and even with some additions (adding in covered buttons on the zipper line and drop sleeves) my dress came out to be affordable and has everything I had envisioned. We celebrated with complementary champagne after I said YES! Which was the perfect touch.I am so happy we decided to stop in. Mary-Jo and Madalena are wonderful and I can’t wait until my dress comes in!!!

Just over a year ago, I discovered Carmen Fashions after an online wedding dress purchase went painfully awry - only 6 weeks before my wedding! Since then, not a day has gone by that I have not been profoundly grateful for all they did for me.All the ladies at Carmen Fashions were so compassionate, and eager to help me find a new dress. This was a particularly tall order because of my particularly unusual requirements - including, but not limited to, the dress had to be black!Madalena helped me find a great base dress and ordered it in the right color. Then she and her tailor worked with me on extensive alterations over the following weeks to transform it into the dress I had been longing for. Of course the dress was stunning. But it was just as important to me that the ladies were so very helpful and kind and accommodating, and worked so hard for me under such a short deadline. Wow. It was absolutely worth the 2.5 hour drive back and forth from NH.Carmen Fashions completely squelched all my anxiety, and turned my wedding dress experience into what I had always dreamed it would be.I feel forever indebted to these lovely ladies.

If you are looking to buy a wedding dress, BM dresses, and dresses for your moms at a store that delivers personal and friendly service by experienced staff who care about making your wedding day perfect, then I suggest you go to Carmen Fashions. After going to a few other bridal gown retailers with very little success, I decided to make an appointment at Carmen Fashions. I had been a MOH in a wedding in which the bride had gone to Carmen Fashions for her and the girls gowns several years ago and had a great experience then.so I figured Id give them a try. I went in with pictures of a few different styles that I liked but also had an open mind. Mary Jo was amazing! She picked out dresses that fit the criteria I gave her and that were within my budget. There was one dress that I absolutely loved, however, it had this beading on the top of the bust that completely ruined the dress for me and it did not have the straps and buttons I wanted. This was not a problem for Carmen Fashions though. Mary Jo told me that she could order the dress without the beading and that they could add the straps and buttons I wanted. She made me feel comfortable and confident that this could be my one of a kind perfect wedding gown. And Im so glad I trusted her and said yes to the dress! When it came in without the beading, I knew I had picked the right dress and with a few alterations appointments, it was exactly the dress I had envisioned. Not only did my gown come out perfect, the girls dresses were amazing! The alterations were done very well and the dresses couldnt have fit them better. The moms also had a wonderful experience and that is saying a lot especially since my mom isnt one for shopping let alone gown shopping. But the ladies at Carmen Fashions made it so easy and fun shopping for dresses! I cant thank Carmen Fashions enough for all the work they did on my dress, the girls dresses and the moms dresses. And I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else but there for your wedding gowns!

I used to come here to buy accessories but they moved and now I have no idea where they are located. Terrible marketing for this boutique. But cute cheap ladies items in store so if u can find them its worth a look. Not just bridal dresses they have casual shoes, trendy costume jewelry, and cheaply made clothing.

My family and I have been going to Carmen Fashions for YEARS. I am a .. pretty picky person, so when it came to looking for a dress they helped in so many ways. (I am not a dress person!!) After trying on a handful of dresses and being the difficult to decide Bride I finally fell in love with not one but 2 dresses... both had a different part that I loved, and comes to find out they can customize and order just how I want it !!! BINGOthe customer service here is excellent and so helpful I feel so confident and not once rushed. I have told all my friends about the experience and I have to say they are a 5 star ranking!BTW, they havent moved in years....... still on pleasant ST
