What wonderful experience I had having an eye exam and getting glasses. Dr and staff were so nice and very pleasant and helpful. Nice assortment of frames to choose from also. Would definitely recommend.

I have been coming here for years and would never consider going anywhere else. Dr. Arruda is the best and always explains everything really well. Love my new Ray Ban prescription sunglasses too.

Went to an apt in march 2020 and they canceled my apt for a family emergency (which has happened multiple times with them) and rescheduled it and when they did they said shes not due til may for an apt but since shes not getting glasses shell just have to pay $30 co payment .... so i went in paid the co payment and waited probably an hour just to be seen by the assistant there who does the little eye tests... then probably waited another hour to be seen by the actual eye doctor and she proceeded to talk to me about how i should get vaccinated and about death which??? why???? She basically just wrote my prescription down and asked me 2 times to read what I saw which I found strange bc she usually does that a bunch of times... she then wrote my script out on a piece of paper so I could get my own glasses myself since again I didnt do all the tests for glasses that day and didnt GET ANY. a few weeks later I get a bill in the mail for $100 which is absolutely INSANE since she barely did anything helpful besides give me an almost Identical prescription from 2 years ago.... plus on top of the $30 co payment I had already paid... $130 for what?? a 15 minute visit where nothing was done but non stop talking?? I liked this eye doctors office . I have been going for YEARS but the way the receptionist talks so condescending when I know shes in the wrong is gross. me and my family of 5 will not be returning back. also will not be paying them my hard working money that they said I wouldnt need to pay in the first place!!!!!!!! DO BETTER! oh also stop over booking so much that patients have to be there for 4 hours!!

My kids and I have been going here for years and I can only say good things. The doctor is great with kids and made the eye exam fun and easy for my little ones. When my youngest had to get glasses for the first time, the workers were very nice and helpful and made her excited to get eye glasses, really good customer service.

Highly recommend Dr Tsongalis-Arruda and Center for Family Vision, she is friendly and knows her stuff. The office is clean and has a great selection of frames. Her staff was very helpful with picking out glasses and I didn’t have to wait long to see her. So glad I found a new eye doctor!

Horrible customer service.I have a problem with bright lights and glare especially at night and the only reason I scheduled an appointment was to address that. I made my concerns crystal clear to the Optometrist and staff when picking out my glasses and I was offered the crizal options which, i was told, helps with glare.My glasses came in and there was no change to me sensitivity. I called the office and was told I need to give it 7-10 days which, made no sense. I finally called back and even went to the office. After about 15 minutes of going back and forth with the front staff as I explained over and over again that there is no change with or without the glasses and they telling me what I could and should be seeing from my own eyes, they proceed to tell me there were different levels of crizal that could have been ordered.NEVER was I originally told there were different levels as I wouldve picked the highest level from the very beginning and I had already waited almost a month for the glasses to come in.I called about a week ago to check on the status of my glasses and was tole they were not back yet as it has been about another month.I received a call now tell me my benefits have now been reinstated so now they can ship my glasses back to have the correct crizal placed on them. Again, no communication as I was under the impression that they were already sent out and if benefits were an issue, I wouldve called my insurance carrier myself!Once these glasses are done, I will no longer be returning to this office.

Great experience and excellent selection of safety and regular glasses. I was nervous because of covid but couldn’t put off my eye exam any longer. Felt very comfortable with all of the precautions they are taking and beyond confident in Dr. Arruda’s care.

Dr. Is good but rushes through testing, blow up.my eyes with air, for good reason tho, but yeah now my eye sight is blurry ? How can you test me when all things are blurry, during the test ? Starts to show can i see this how bout this and this, well my eyes are tearing tears and its blurry from that air blast!!! I would think do eye test first for the lens, then do that air blast last checking, i think did that on purpose so i have trouble seeing, and not get the correct lens for glasses, shame on you Dr. Shame shame on you!!!!!! I would never bring my kids here why they be wearing coke bottle glasses when the grow up,

This was my first eye exam, I was little nervous, however the friendly staff made me feel right at home, they were all so friendly and helpful. My eye sight was fine, However if the time comes and I need help my vision I will be returning to that office!Special thanks to Lisa, she checked me in and informed me off how my visit be go. I never leave reviews but this place is awful. It took over an hour before my girlfriend was even called in for the appointment that was scheduled. When the glasses came in, they called to let us know we could go pick them up. When we went to pick them up that same day, they closed early due to 4” of snow, and never let us know. I called the next day and asked if my girlfriend could come get them after work at 5pm, which they informed me that they close at 4pm. I asked if I could pick them up and they said that’s fine. When I got there at 1pm, they were on lunch break until 2. I decided to wait for them to open back up. When they did, the woman was extremely rude to me. I had asked for the Perscription and she told me no because there was no doctor there. She walked away from me before I could ask to put in an order for frames that my girlfriend had on hold. When she came back, she said “is there something else” in a very rude tone. So I said no and walked out without ordering the frames.All in all, this place has no concern for customer service at all. There’s too much competition to settle for poor service these days. I will not be going back here to order my frames.

My girlfriend has been going here for years. There used to be some kinks that needed working out but it appears they have got it under control now. Great facility, great employees & an amazing caring doctor. Would recommend everyone to come here

My two sons are patients at this office. We always have a great experience. The staff is wonderful and the Dr is great with kids!! The office has extended hrs that works for my crazy schedule. I highly recommend Center for Family Vision.

My daughter had to get glasses when she was young, she saw doctor Arruda he had the best bedside manner with my daughter. I was comfortable with him a soft speaking gentle man, now we have his Daughter in law and I find her to be the same, so far I never had a long wait. We have been going to this office since the late “80’s” my family member also go there.

The dr was great but as far as the staff at the counter..WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced!!

UPDATE - does anyone else find it strange people with the Doctor’s last name have been leaving five star reviews for the last two to three weeks since I posted the below review? No activity on this page for a year and then suddenly everyone is coming out of the woodwork with a positive experience online. Interesting.THE WORST OFFICE - the Doctor has no respect for her patient’s time. Appointment at 9:30, the Doctor doesn’t even enter the building until 10:15 and you do not enter the room until 11. What is the point? You can be sure if I made the Doctor wait nearly two hours to be seen, I’d be charged. Run a business in a respectful fashion and more people would be willing to see you.

I knew my 8 year old needed glasses . I brought her to the doctor they said no so I went for a second opinion and yes she did... The doc she had was great very kind.... Caring lady...

If I could do -5 stars I would my boyfriend had and apt here for 10am got here around 945am its now 1 PM and still waiting . I wouldnt even send stevie wonder here . I work with clients that Ive had to take on numerous appointments and never in my life did I see spending almost 4 hours at the EYE DOCTORS, the people who work there probably dont notice or acknowledge the hours people spend their because theres no windows and they forgot the concept of time .

I have been coming to Dr. Arruda’s office for 20+, the staff is lovely and always helpful. My son now also sees Dr. Eudoxia Arruda and he adores her!

This place is awful. When a Dr takes 4 to 5 people and thinks they can see all at the same time. Expect to wait 2 hours just for your eye exam.

You make an appointment and dont get seen until a min of 2 hours later . Been going here for years but with each yearly visit I remind myself not to go back for that reason.
