Their associate Sharon was incredibly rude to my dad who’s visiting from out of town. He is mentally ill and gets chatty. There was no reason for her to be so nasty to him. It was only my second time at this Commissary and I only brought him here because as a Navy veteran, he’s a long time patron of the commissary and wanted to check this one out. After this unpleasant encounter, I have no desire to return to this location and neither does he. I’m certain Safeway has been the better choice for getting groceries in Fallon.

Pretty good commissary for a Base the size of NAS Fallon. It has just about everything any medium size grocery store would carry. As of today 5/29/21 be sure to bring your mask and ID, vaccinated or not.

I love the people, always friendly and able to answer ANY questions and if by chance they dont know they Will get back to you. Prices are highly competitive with out in town stores and I Love the sidewalk/Case sales they have!! There is a surcharge added to your total UNLESS you bring your own bags. Then there is NO surcharge.

Someone should post on the website when Non Active Duty personnel can shop. I was there today and was told only active duty can shop on Tuesdays????? I dont see a problem with this however, could someone please let us know what the new policy is and who can shop when??

Went to do Bi-weekly groceries.

Disappointed with deleting a lot of GOOD brands in order to bring in their own brand. It would have been much better to bring in a trial sample stock instead of just deleting the popular items. Now to get what I want... I have to go in town to get what I want. Tried many of their signature series but they lack the flavor, quality and texture.

For a small commissary, this is a very complete and locally competitive store. We find good savings compared to the larger Walmart and Safeway stores in town. The staff is outstanding and always willing to help you with your questions and locating items in the store.

If you have military ID and live near a base with a commissary, why not use it? Good selection of products. Cleaner and more organized than any other store. Friendly staff. Just make sure you tip the baggers. :)

Love our commissary at NAS Fallon - always so clean and well stocked. The but her shop is always outstanding and so helpful.

Very small commissary, about twice the size of a 7-Eleven gas station store. Very small selection of everything, especially infant formula. Good, fresh produce, but not much of it. They are almost always either low on sliced bread, or completely out. Almost no organic products to speak of.

Loved grocery shopping, well stocked, great pricing and the store employees were so nice to us.

My husband and I LOVE the Commissary. It may be small, but the place has everything we need and the prices ROCK. Items we will NEVER buy in the civilian sector, we are able to here because the prices are wonderful and we can actually AFFORD.

Same size as a Safeway, lots of variety, meat section is the freshest and way cheaper, very friendly people working there, and best of all the prices are much lower than in town!

This is a relatively small commissary but it has all of the essentials. They are closed Sunday and Monday.

Short lines, clean store, lots of parking. If you dont pay the baggers, then go through self-checkout... trust me. Selection is small here, and prices arent great for everything.
