The buying experience was good. The rep did a thorough job of explaining all the different options. The rep we dealt with was very patient and we were happy with the process. The follow up was where we were not so pleased. I had to reach out to get our order delivered on time. The sales rep was nowhere to be found nor could the rep be reached. In the end, we got a very nice piece at a very good price. We will still go back for more business but wish the delivery process was better. We are satisfied with the entire process.

My husband gifted me with a bracelet from Dominion Jewelers almost 10 years ago when our son was born and it is the only jewelry store that we have shopped at since that time. The selection is unique and the service is personalized. I highly recommend them to anyone who asks me where to shop for jewelry or compliments my pieces.

Poor customer service and a weird obfuscation of pricing for custom jewelry. I had a stone I wanted set and called to get a price range for a basic 2 carat white gold ring setting and they said I had to make an in person appointment to even get any sort of price range. Thats something that shouldnt be in doubt for a professional jeweler. No idea whats going on, whether they dont want new customers or are going for a high pressure sales model, but whatever it is its not normal for a jeweler. Their website advertises digital meetings, but apparently thats a lie too. Guy on phone was incredibly gruff and smug when I said no thanks. Why would I get anything complex from a place that doesnt even know their own pricing for something any jeweler can do?

After lots of research and many appointments at other jewlers, I decided to buy an engagement ring from Dominion Jewelers. They made it so easy and created a stunning custom engagement ring that looks like I paid way more for it than I actually did. That was almost 7 years ago and all the jewelry I get my wife comes from Dominion Jewelers.

So disappointed with the recent service at Dominion. Pre-pandemic I went in for a consult to upgrade earrings I purchased from there in 2015 and was given a quote for a credit towards an upgrade. Now, finally ready to purchase, I was told that their policy doesnt allow for the style of earrings I purchased to qualify for an upgrade.It wasnt even the policy change, but how the message was delivered by Ryan, their Office Manager. He was rude and curt with me and offered absolutely no alternative solution- or even for me to come in and discuss options. This was a complete change from the service we received in 2015- and disappointing as we were hoping to return to Dominion for all future purchases.I guess Dominion Jewelers is in a position to turn away a large sale- I am sure that other area jewelers would be happy to assist me

Sergio and Dominion Jewelers would be a 10+ from me! Needing an unplanned repair to a two jeweled diamond ring crafted by them almost 10 years ago, scheduling an appointment with Sergio to review repair choices was easy and convenient. Upon selecting an option, it was finished earlier than expected. Scheduling a pick up day and time was almost next day and the finished product is simply stunning!!! I am so happy with my new ring and the manner in which I interacted with all of the personnel. Their attentiveness to customer appreciation and active COVID 19 management made me feel very safe as well as valued. They set the gold standard for me!

I went in on a Saturday with an appointment with Carley. My (at the time girlfriend, now my Fiance) has very delicate fingers, and needed a ring to match. Carley was right on it, we had THE PERFECT engagement ring in a matter of minutes. I had done a bunch of online shopping and knew pretty well what i was looking for and my budget. Carley bent over backwards to make sure i got the perfect stone with the perfect setting. I worked with Rich at Dominion for my engagement ring and wedding bands. I loved my experience and imagine Ill be a lifelong customer. I purchased the center stone and ring from Dominion, and they were wonderful and easy about including family stones along the band. For a jewelry novice like me, Rich was incredibly helpful navigating me through the process. I also had them resize a family wedding band and they could not have made that process easier.

I decided to reset my engagement diamond in a unique custom design and couldnt be happier with the result! They created exactly what I wanted and it is stunning! Carley was SO helpful, patient and made me feel confident that they knew exactly what I wanted. She listened to every detail and made sure it happened. Their goldsmiths are very talented. I had a fantastic experience here. I could not find a wedding band anywhere that matched my engagement ring. I came in to Dominion and showed it to Sergio. He showed me a few bands, and we both agreed that none of them worked. I asked about something custom, and he helped me pick out the perfect style and within a week they had produced a gorgeous white gold band with filigree that matched my ring and looks AMAZING. The price was much better than you would expect for something custom, too! I was thrilled with Sergio. They polished my engagement ring while they had it and the center stone came loose in the process... When I called him about it, he told me to bring it in whenever and that they would fix it. I came in that Saturday and they had tightened it within five minutes. The customer service here is outstanding and the quality is top notch. If you live within an hour of Falls Church you really need to go with Dominion!

If I could give 10 stars I would. I had no idea what I was doing picking out my engagement ring. I gave Carley my budget and she worked within it, not opting for the higher end of the budget but what looked the best. There was no pressure and they got the ring made super fast and the end result was fabulous. I recommend Dominion to anyone searching for an engagement ring as well as other jewelry.

I was previously a customer for life... at least the last four years. We have had custom designed and other jewelry made at a higher quality and lower cost than any other jeweler in NOVA MD and DC. This Christmas big gift was to be combining the engagement ring and custom made wrap. I gave the original to Sergio, who I didnt know, and told him I wanted the exact settings except one band instead of two. He showed me something they had in the store. I thought he was just showing me how it would be seamless. They did knock it out in ten days and I got it to my wife to review. Remember I asked for exact? Well they threw our stones into their form and called it custom. My wife said it looked like it was made in China. Compare Coke to hot chocolate Completely different. When we brought the ring back they started talking in circles and said they could do it but he would have to charge me more.Anyway I could go on but they rectified the situation to my satisfaction. Going forward I will now have a slight distrust that I will be put into their mold and not get the Custom piece I desired.

Brought in my new engagement ring to get it adjusted down a 1/2 size. Turns out I was way off with my ring size and was nervous when Sergio suggested I size down 1 and 1/2 sizes. I was anxious all day but when I went to pick it up it was amazingly perfect and more beautiful than when I dropped it off. It wasn’t purchased there but they treated me like I was a valued customer and did an excellent, professional job. They’re the real deal. Will be returning to look at wedding bands!

Amazing service every time. They made a custom wedding band for me to match my rather unique engagement ring and did a fantastic job. My engagement ring has required maintenance and repairs from time to time and other shops have done pretty bad damage to it, unfortunately, so now we prefer driving here from Georgia because they’re the only place we trust!

I went to Rich Spero at Dominion to find a wedding band to match my engagement ring. Its going to be a custom-made design that will curve around my engagement ring setting to sit flush against the band. He was extraordinarily helpful and patient, and I ended up getting three rings sized as well. He even gave me a little discount since I was getting several rings sized. Id recommend him to anyone!

These guys are the best! We brought our wedding ring design print out where I mocked up a custom design in Photoshop and they made us our beautiful wedding rings just like the picture. We bring our rings back each year to be inspected, cleaned and rebrushed. This is a family owned business and everybody there is nice, provides great customer service, and takes pride in their craftsmanship. We have worked mainly with Rochelle who is AWESOME but I doubt you will be disappointed to work with any of them.

I purchased my husband’s wedding ring at Dominion Jewelers and we were very happy with the service. We showed them a picture of exactly what we wanted and Dominion produced the same exact thing, but for a significantly cheaper, reasonable price than the designer band it was based off of. The staff was very knowledgeable. Although we had to follow-up to figure out when it would be arriving, the band looked perfect and we’ve been very happy with it. The ring, nonetheless, is very large, and we’ve had to have it resized twice, so that was a bit frustrating. In the end, I will likely go back for additional jewelry in the future for the prices alone!

I recently went to Dominion Jewelers to purchase a custom made engagement ring and the service and selection was outstanding.I worked with Jody Housenger who was so patient and kind during the entire process. When I was first looking once I knew what I was looking for she was able to get other stones brought in so I could see a greater selection than what was available at the store. Since I was ordering a custom designed right they helped to understand what I was looking for and then created a custom wax mold for me to see it before it was made.I can not speak highly enough about the service I received there and would definitely recommend them to anyone shopping for an engagement ring. If youre going to go though definitely make an appointment because it can get busy on Saturday.

I was just in on a Saturday. Admittedly it is their busy time, but nobody inside, other than the Falls Church City cop greeted me or my partner. We wandered the store, only receiving stares. Not a single warm smile or “I’m sorry we are busy, we will get to soon”. Happy to spend my money elsewhere.

My first experience with Dominion Jewelers was the day after Valentines. I called to make an appointment and was assisted by Carley who very amiably stated that there were no appointment available but to come in anyway and one of the staff members would assist me within 10 minutes after my arrival. We got there and not even a minute later we were assisted by Mina. She was nothing short of professional and with her help, I was able to find the perfect setting for my stone. Mina was great and showed me settings that fit exactly what I was looking for. Not even an hour later I had the most beautiful engagement ring ever! We also bought my fiances wedding band and will be returning for mine later in the year. I highly recommend them and though everyone we talked to while we were there seemed very nice, I will definitely be asking for Mina again. Excellent service!

I went in to purchase a wedding band. I did not have an appointment, so I fully expected to wait. However, there is a bizarre culture inside the store, so I felt uncomfortable from the moment I walked in.The door agent/receiver at Dominion jewelers, is the only member of the staff who acknowledged my presence there this morning. He told me to look at the rings, and then asked me to wait till one of the (many) agents freed up, because they were all busy with people who had appointments.I wish Id known they were by appointment only, but this wasnt listed on yelp or google.The agents were all over the store but not one of them took a second to even say a simple Hello, Ill be with you momentarily, while I waited there in front of the case of wedding bands for 20 minutes.I asked the door clerk if I could make an appointment for later in the day but then realized that I just didnt want to spend my money somewhere where Im just not welcome. I left and will not be back.

First visit young lady misplaced a $12,000 stone (inside the original packaging). I was quested by a sheriff and sent on my merry way (just to find out they minutes later found it). That treasure hunt wasted 2 hours of my saturday.Second chance visit. I scheduled an appointment with Sergio because I heard Sergio was the best! What a lie. He was terrible. From moment one he came off as condescending. He asked what my budget was and what I was looking for. After telling him my budget and that number would have to cover everything (engagement, wedding band, diamond, etc.), he brought me a stone that ate up the entire budget. After stating I didnt see how we could make that work for my budget, he responded that normally people meant just the engagement ring and stone when they said covers everything. It was just a stupid experience. After brushing off his remarks, it seems he wanted me to make a decision RIGHT then and there. This is after he literally provided no benefit to my search, just more questions.It was clear he just wanted a sale.Go to Ascot Diamonds in Ballston if you want a class act establishment. I thought they would be WAY out of my budget because they had 5 stars in their reviews, but Tim Birch and his team were able to work with me on everything. If I didnt like the stones Ascot had, they called multiple other options in that I had sent them. We finally found the right diamond and Tim helped me create a custom ring, and engagement band that fit into my budget. Ascot was NEVER pushy, and only wanted to close the deal when I was 100% satisfied (unlike Dominion).

Im super puzzled about all these positive reviews. My fiancé and I made an appointment to custom design our wedding bands. When we arrived, we were left to look around for almost 20 minutes before the person wed made an appointment with came to talk to us. She showed us rings from cases and seemed impatient, like she had better things to be doing than helping us with this process. Not once did she even MENTION customizing anything. We felt totally rushed and left feeling very disappointed. The ONLY reason we bought our rings there (we were promised theyd be ready in 2 weeks - its been 3 weeks now and we cant get ahold of the salesperson to find out whats going on) is because the price was lower than anywhere else we looked. Sad that such a meaningful and important experience for us has been ruined by the poor customer service. Well see what the rings actually look like, but Im pretty nervous about that if our experience so far is any indication of what we can expect.

Over the years ive experienced one thing... poor customer service. from over the phone, email to even in person. ive tried just about everything, including making an appointment, then the rep. named carol stood me up.im not sure what is going on and its not very comforting to understand that im not the only one whos suffered this problem.they need to work on their customer service.they also need to adjust their claim of on site they only have sales people on site.nothing else.ive tried everything from credit card purchase of a ring, resetting stones, resizing, cleaning and choosing an custom made piece...none of these situations have been completed.im unsure if ill try again, i mean how many years does it take?also, do not come in looking unkempt they will notify the management and ask you to leave. (not sure what that was about, it was another customer who came in with work clothes and his girlfriend looking for an engagement ring.)

DO NOT USE DOMINION JEWELERS!!!! I went to Dominion Jewelers on Sept 8th 2010 to begin the process of picking out an engagement ring to surprise my girlfriend and propose on our anniversary, November 20th. I picked out the bands I liked and got price quotes for 3 diamonds that I really liked. When I got home that day I emailed the person who helped me, Mina Barimany to confirm the prices that we discussed. She replied promptly and confirmed, in writing the prices we discussed.I then spent 4 weeks shopping around and making sure I was getting the best deal. No one else could compete with Dominion. So I did a little more homework on diamonds and then proceeded to go into Dominion to finalize the whole process. Before I went to the store I emailed Mina and confirmed (for a 2nd time) the prices on the diamonds and also asked her if she would have the bands I had liked ready to go so I could come in and finalize the entire process. She confirmed the prices (again) and said the bands would be ready.You can probably guess where I am going with this. I got into the store, and Mina didnt have ANY of the bands that I had looked at. So now, I had to go on pure guesswork to figure out what final custom work I would have done to the band. I felt like I was shooting in the dark at this point, and I was already upset. However, I continued on and we looked at diamonds. About 20 minutes into looking at diamonds I asked to see the 1.5ct diamond she had quoted me a price on. She looked at me confused and said I didnt quote you that price. I proceeded to show Mina the TWO emails where she did confirm the price. Flustered and embarrassed she asked her father, Mohammed Barimany (who owns the family store) to step in and help out. He barged in, looked at the email price quote from Mina, then he did a few calculations and shook his head. He said What, do you want me to pull $3,000 out of my pocket and give it to you?! You are completely unreasonable!.At that point, I told both of them that they had just lost $10,000 of business and I left the place.Aside from the dishonesty, the shoddy service, the lack of care and attention, Dominion Jewelers goes even one step further and insults the customer when THEY themselves have made a mistake.Now, I wont be able to get a new ring in time to propose to my girlfriend. I had already reserved a place (and paid for it too!) and had elaborate plans laid with friends and family.DOMINION JEWLERS HAS RUINED MY ENGAGEMENT PLANS!I will never use this place ever again and I am going to tell every single friend and family member to do the same.I truly hope this place will go down in flames. And I am going to do everything in my power to see that it does.
