Visited this store last week to gear our children up for the school year. Our children all left with a pair of shoes they loved, and mom and dad came away impressed with the selection, quality and price. This isnt the first nor the the last time we will shop there. The staff we interacted with was also helpful and each one looked like they enjoyed working there.

Great store! Went in looking for a pair of Adidas, but due to the small section, I ended up leaving with a nice pair of Nikes. Would shop here again!!

We went to the sale wall right away. It took awhile but we did find a pair of shoes for our daughter. I didnt see anybody that I could ask for help to find out prices on some boots that I was interested in so I put them back.

Somehow I forgot this store existed! Its now my go to for shoes for my daughter! Cant beat the prices, especially since it seems Target and Walmart wants to match those prices with less quality fitting shoes! Yesterday I got my daughter 2 pairs of shoes including a Nike pair and a Nike pair for myself all under $150! I guess for me it doesnt hurt I can wear kid sizes too🤣👍🏾

Hey neighbors of almost 7yrs. I went into the store with my sister, niece, and nephew and the staff were busy and courteous as always. When we got to the checkout a lady (with her male partner and two small boys) became so unbearably unruly and disrespectful that I had to step outside with my nephew. I didnt find out until later that her behavior made an employee walk away in tears. I work in retail myself and I just want to say to the gal who had to put up with this foolish, embarrassing lady, dont sweat it. And dont take ppl like that serious. And also, my sister felt so horrible and would like to buy you lunch! Keep up the great work neighbors!

I found a great pair of tennis shoes for $25.00 !!! Great selection and lots of killer sale ticket items. Me and my son had a lot of fun at this store.

The BoGo 1/2 off sale is awesome! Store had a pretty decent cried but not overly busy though the staff kept hard at work. However, the cashier repeatedly forgot to give change or give the correct amount of change. I actually had to ask and he said oh, yeah. He didnt seem to care much. Yahye I think was his name. Overall a fair experience though.

The manager Linda was incredibly rude and demoralizing to an employee in front of a bunch of customers. The employee was being very courteous and friendly to everyone. Frankly, she should be fired and until thats the case, I will no longer support this business. Unbelievable!

I ordered online and did store pickup but I was in town before I received a email telling me the shoes were ready for pickup but they were very accommodating and i was able to get my order early.

I normally come here to get shoes for myself, as well as my son. This morning we decided to take our son to get new shoes, they grow out of them so fast. And Shoe Carnival has the best prices! I had to say though, while checking out one of the associates, possibly the manager looks down st my son and asks him if he was a monkey. While Im not sure in what sense she meant it. I was HIGHLY offended as a black mother, with a biracial son, that she would think to say something so offensive. With all the rioting, and protesting that is currently going on nationwide, you would think she would be a little more careful and have a little more common sense. After she realized what she said, and that I wasnt happy about it she disappeared a d left the cashiers to check me out. I wish she would apologized for such an insensitive comment she had made.

Usually they have my size but now they never do. I brought it up to one of the gals working there and all I got was sorry and laughter. Never going back there

I shopped here with my nephew, Im from California and there is no shoe carnival in the state. This one is very nice and reminds me of a smaller DSW.

This review is about the Womens SPRING STEP Khazera Hiking Boots I recently purchased online from Shoe Carnival:I was disappointed that the boots have a zipper on the inside. I was hoping they would be lace-up only. The zipper is nice for a quick on and off, but it makes them a poor choice for activities involving getting them muddy or dirty, as it gets ingrained in the zipper and cant be cleaned well.They seem to be wearing in well. I bought them for my daily mile-long trek from the parking lot to my office across a large mid-western campus. There is a crease already forming in the toe-box that has me concerned they wont make it through winter, but well see. I hope Im wrong, as they are quite comfortable. I was hoping to find a pair of boots that were like a nice suede pair I had in high school that lasted forever. These arent quite those, but theyre the closest thing Ive been able to find. They are nice and toasty, so I expect theyll keep my feet warm when winter hits.I tried to post this on their website, but they seem to be having issues with their review-posting system.

I had a decent experience myself but witnessed Linda (?) treat another employee very poorly. I had a return and Linda was teaching (Carolyn??) how to do the return. Linda was condescending, abrupt and downright rude to this employee...and all right in front of me and other patrons. I felt embarrassed and awful for this girl. Thats no way to train or treat someone.

Well, at 1st it was great. Had to take my boots back because they were missing a piece of material. Then, I actually wear them, like 3 hours, and whatever they are made of, rubs off the toe if the boot! Now I look like I have old boots. That were 59.99. 😡

They have absolutely no customer service so if you dont get your order, you will be out of luck. I never received my full order and its been a month and I cant get a Hold of the company.

As fine evening of a place as a chain discount shoe store can be. I dont know what lavish expectations some might have... But a place that leaves me alone while I look for foot coverings is fine.

Went in to exchange my shoes because the ones I bought prior got water stains on them within 3days of purchase. Was Told no receipt cant do anything for you I had the box and my bank statement I said to the manager that Id shopped at this location many times but all he did was was laugh at me and hollered at me in front of customersI will never purchase anything from this location again and everyone please look up there return policy before you go there Im also contacting the corporate office about the behavior of the manager.

They were having a awesome sale on their boots..I love grabbing shoes, especially boots here because they always have such a great selection to choose from..

They didnt have what we needed and had to order them, they will be shipping our shoes to us.

I returned a pair of shoes on Saturday. Linda was very rude to a new employee that was being trained in. I felt awful for that new employee. Everybody that was standing witnessing this were all horrified. This is not good for business.

Had to buy some shoes for my fiancee. They had a good sale going on and we managed to get two pairs of good shoes for under what I expected to spend!

Not sure where the friendly employees were when I went. When checking out we got mean looks and she didnt even say anything not a hi or have a good day. I was so uncomfortable.

Disheartening and disappointing at best to note that in November 2018, one of my former students who is a most upstanding woman, experienced racial profiling at this location. She was followed throughout her visit by both the manager and another female employee. This has been an all too familiar experience for her in Fargo and Shoe Carnival was no exception. Theres nothing to be suspicious about in this customers actions. I highly recommend some work on racial bias. Own it and transform the culture of your store.

Horrible!!!! Dont go here because they wont have your size! Six timesand never size 12 since I have been here and the place gets worse every time! Now no one speaks English and they always say sorry! Apparently thats the only word they know! Maybe they need employees who actually care just a little about there job! Managers too! If we your customers who you dont care about wanted to order things online then we wouldnt waste our time stopping by this circus!!

I bought my flip flops from there. Good price, salesperson was great. The only thing I noticed was that it was a little cramped.

This is my 3rd time going to the Fargo location. And all three times I had a poor experience.The first time was due to a manufacture defect with a pair of shoes that was ordered online. The staff was completely difficult to work with when it came to my issue.The second time my family and I were looking to purchase new shoes. We had 3 pairs of shoes and a gym bag set aside to purchase and were looking one more pair of shoes. There wasn’t any help to be found that day and I was looking for assistance in finding a shoe that would fit my needs. We sat at the counter waiting with contemplation of leaving the store. A cashier eventually showed up. We left the store with the stuff we had picked out with no intentions on returning.Today 6/26/2018 I went in with a pair of shoes that had a manufacture defect. Now the store does have a specific timeline for warranty. Which I understand that. I contacted the shoe company directly first and they told me that I would need to go into the store for my shoe replacement with it’s two year manufacture defect warranty. The manager, her name is Linda, came to the counter and asked me what I needed. I showed her the places that the shoes were splitting. She looked at my order form and gave me a poor attitude. “Dude, these shoes are a year old I can’t help you.” I’m a customer, not her dude. She asked me what I wanted to do with the shoes and I said, “I just want them replaced.” She barked back staring “what makes you think it won’t happen again.” And she’s right. I don’t know that but I just wanted a pair of shoes that I could wear. She than went looking into her computer and stated she couldnt help me again. I get that she couldnt help me, that’s not what I’m upset about. She could have leveled with me and and given me a professional response. There wasn’t any politeness there wasn’t any professionalism, customer service was poor and she had an I can’t and won’t help you attitude. As I was grabbing my shoes to leave after I got angry, she was willing to give me the list price of the shoe. “They ring up at $$$ you can take the money and get a pair of shoes elsewhere.” The situation could have been better. I became upset as soon as her poor attitude came out. At that point wanted nothing to do with the store and just wanted to leave.I’m not sure what type of company shoe carnival is, but the management is the first thing that needs to be adjusted. I give every company the opportunity, and this was the last.

Counter person didnt give me my free spin when I bought 3 pairs, and when I mentioned it, he acted like it would be a hassel because he would have to ring me up all over again, so I said forget it, but I felt cheated.

This is an okay place with some okay variety if you need shoes RIGHT NOW. They have some okay deals and specials that they try to make seem like a carnival. Almost any shoe you want to buy there can be found cheaper on amazon, though. Significantly less expensive online.
