John n Wayne meat is very fair priced. I always wanted to stop there but never had the time to locate them. They have Specials. The meats are very flavorful, I know I will make it a point to go there when in the area...

This is the best place to get meat in the Fargo/Moorhead area although you do pay for it as it is a little bit higher than other places. They have a great selection of products.

Meat looks gross chicken in a bucket with sauce looks nasty I was super unimpressed dont waste your time go to costco cheaper better quality

They have a really good variety and I even found some Kuchen by Kim’s Gourmet Shop which I haven’t had in years.Plus found some smoked salmon that I’m excited to try.Sadly, you would think that being 9 months into this Covid epidemic you would think people (cashier) would know that they should NOT touch their faces, especially their noses and then touch the items someone is purchasing.Yes, I wipe down everything I bring into my home but to watch someone do this? Doesn’t make one want to go back to this business.

Nice big beef bones for homemade bone broth. Little on the spendy side though. Terriyaki beef sticks were O.K.

What a selection! Called ahead to see if they had buffalo patties and they did and so much more! Tons of seafood, wild game, etc. will stop again the next time we come through!

Best place in town to get meat

I phoned a large order of Brats which were very good and some packs of beef sticks of different varieties which were also good. Plus we ordered different lunch meats and cheeses. We live about 150 miles away and bought all this for the fourth of July and my daughter picked it up because they live there and brought it home. Just about all the lunch meat was spoiled or sour and had to be thrown out. We were so disappointed we spent $600.00 there and live that far away. And it ended up in the garbage everything was on ice and put coolers and they helped load it service was good lunch meat was terrible. Spent 250.00 on that. Soured the celebration.

Absolutely hands down best butcher shop in the area!!!!! The only time Im willing to put another mans meat in my mouth is when it comes from Meats ByJohn & Wayne.

This by far is the BEST meat store in the FM area. Great selection, great prices and a very friendly staff. We have had the steak, bison, alligator, and swordfish. Everything was wonderful.

Knowledgeable butchers, but their prices are a bit on the high side. Went in yesterday hoping to buy a full packer brisket. The cuts of meat they showed me were USDA choice (not bad, and they didnt have prime, I asked) but they were priced $.50/pound higher than USDA prime elsewhere making it kind of hard to justify sending the extra cash on as lower quality of meat.Having said that, I do believe they run a good shop overall and I will continue to shop there.

Teriyaki beef jerky prices lower than the gas station and a flavor to die for, who wouldnt shop here? We love Meats by John and Wayne.

My fiance and i go here about 2 times a week. I had a little error on my check out, i gave my cashier a $20 and wanted the rest on my card, instead it all went on my card. I called and talked to wayne and the gentleman remembered me from the day before and the transaction. Not only dis they refund my full amount, which I didnt ask and gave me a gift card. They went above and beyond to make that a good experience still. There meats arw delicious and so is there service.

I love this place! This was the first meat market I visited when I moved to Fargo 12 years ago.Great selections and if they dont have it they can get it.The In Store made products are Amazing!! Meat Sticks, Sausages, marinades and sauces everyone is great.I really miss John :-( I always looked forward to giving him a bad time and him doing the same to me.On the upside Wayne is just as great!12 years of consistent quality and fantastic customer service.This is how you run a business.Great job guys,Jamie

The store clerk, Ethan helped me with my various meat needs. He helped me distinguish between choice and prime and helped me pick a rub that would be best suited on the grill. His knowledge about meat is unparalleled. 10/10 would go again.

I just bought a prime rib roast and opened it up at home and the cap was cut off of it!!! Who does that? I can buy better meat at the grocery store.

Meats by John & Wayne has been my go to meat shop for the last couple of years now. They have pretty decent prices and some of the freshest and best meats in the area.I really enjoy all of the flavors of bratwurst and sausages as well as all of their jerky. Just about everything Ive had from here is top notch. Highly recommended.

If you are a vegetarian stay away! This is a meat lovers old fashion meat shop minus the sawdust on the floor. Stop for one thing and walk out with a half a cow thats how it works there. This is one serious meat shop so give it a try.
