Was very good service the lady running the cash register was super awesome!!! The food was pretty good the sub was huge n it was only half a sub....

I now live within the same block of Out Fabulous Smiling Moose. It is my now go to place to enjoy a perfectly great meal. Plus they have a great selection of hand made items, to choose from.

Grabbed some food for lunch after Fargo Marathon. Placed order online and then was called by store letting me know they were working on catering order and that it would be another 45 minutes before our order would be ready. I showed up ahead of new time and food was already bagged and felt like it may have been there for a little bit. Overall the food was good even though not hot and fresh. My wife got a burger that was overcooked an lacking on the toppings. I got the Beyond Mo which was loaded well so no complaints there.

Great experience at the downtown location. Great food, great service, great staff. 100% will be back again!

Food was expensive; I payed $11 for a small sandwich that did not have much meat or toppings on it. I was going to get the 1/2 salad and 1/2 sandwich, but they said they are unable to make 1/2 sandwich with gluten free bread. 🤷‍♀️ The ingredients did not seem fresh, and they use Udis gluten-free bread, which is rather dry. The friends I was with also thought the food was expensive for what they got. It tasted ok, but overall I would not go back.

This place is so good. If you want a cheesy, gooey, delicious sandwich, this is the place. Great for lunch. Service is terrific. The owners and staff care about their customers. (Tip: Go with the Mighty size.)

Mighty Motherload everytime

They are amazing. So much so that me and my wife ate a sub there and I got 3 to go. Try the Bronx pastrami sub(Its slap yo momma good). Their was only one lady in there handling orders and she was great! Very kind and courteous. I would definitely eat there again.

Have been to Smiling Moose a handful of times in the past and its always been delicious. I recently have had to cut out gluten for medical reasons so I tried the gluten free baguette offered (for 3 extra dollars) and it was really disappointing. Extremely crumbly, which made eating my sandwich almost impossible to eat, anyone who has had to navigate the gluten free world knows what Im talking about. I wouldnt get it again for how expensive it was. The only redeeming factor was the inside of my sandwich.

I’ve been to Smiling Moose Downtown many times and it’s been awesome every single time up until yesterday. I walked in and an employee had just finished up on the phone with who I presume was a manager regarding job performance. He immediately started complaining to his other coworker in the back about this phone call. This went on for about 5 minutes and nobody even acknowledged I was there to order my lunch. I left disappointed and got lunch somewhere else, but I’m positive that my next experience will be a good one. I’m just concerned that if it was someone that hadn’t been there before, they would’ve left extremely frustrated and would never go back.

The man working the register was very kind and patient while I looked at the menu. He even took out tomatoes in the soup for me. Unfortunately, I do not remember his name but he had long hair. Hope you guys are paying him well though.

Great food, and good service. I loved the sandwich I got here. I was debating between here and subway and decided on this and it was the right decision. The sandwich was great, and the restaurant was clean, a great place to go grab lunch.

This place is worth a try, if you have never tried Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli. I miss it from when I used to live in North Dakota. It is honestly one of the few things I really crave after moving away, and I plan to periodically make trips to the Fargo area, in part to get a Mo. It really is to die for. Even the vegetables taste delectable, which is normally not my favorite part of any meal.

Today was my first time trying Smiling Moose Rocky Mountain Deli and I have to say I have been missing out. First the one who took my order wasnt pushy or trying to rush me which I appreciated because I had zero idea of what I wanted. I then decided to go with a wildfire chicken sandwich, which let me tell you was seriously the most amazing thing ever. I highly recommend going!

Smiling Moose is one of my 5 or so go-to locations for a lunch or even breakfast in downtown. Always consistent, and relatively fast. In short, they are very reliable for a great sandwich no matter which one you choose!

While it pales to Grand Junction, its still the best sandwich joint in downtown Fargo. Fresh ingredients on a tasty bun. I prefer the Wildfire Chicken. Be sure to stop in on Wednesday for a free cookie.

First time here, and it blew me away! I loved the selection, and found it hard to choose just one. Got the Motherlode sandwich, and was very pleased. My girlfriend got the Dude Ranch wrap, and we both really liked that too! The chicken noodle soup wasnt bad, but I think it has room for improvement. Also the staff seemed really friendly and helpful.

Smiling Moose has catered for our office training events ranging from 5 to 90 people. They always come through with excellent food and service. SM staff are helpful with planning your catering menu to ensure you have just the right amount of food for your needs. I would heartily recommend them for your next catering event!

One of the best sandwich shops I have been in. Friendly fast service and great Mo sandwiches, plus a choose the flavor soda machine.

If you want freaky fast service go to Jimmy Johns, if you dont want to wait for quality go to Subway. I love the food at Smiling Moose, and every time Ive been there the staff have been friendly and dont rush your orders. The choices of everything is great and the build your own option is awesome. Dont expect them to be done in 2 seconds when you have tons of items on your sandwich, if you want it made right let em think while they make and let the ovens catch up while they make your food hot.The price is a little high, but better quality. Id recommend to a friend and I would def go back again~

Today I ordered my usual country Cobb salad. I took one bite an immediately got disgusted. I always ask for spinach not lettuce. My spinach was like slimy my avocado was brown an the meat tasted sour. I let someone know an they offered me a new salad and I said no Ive lost appetite. He said hed take care of it an never came back. So not impressed. Ive gone there since it opened and its going down hill. Today was a total disappointment. Never again will I go to Smiling Moose.

Gave it a 3 star as it is usually perfect but tonight my wrap was messed up. All the chicken was in one end, the lettuce in the other, and the wrap burned. Disappointing for a dinner I was looking forward to all day.

The guys that were working the night of Nov 20th during the Xcel parade were really awesome! They were very helpful and patient with us. We stopped in due to a quick medical issue and ended up taking food home for dinner. It was absolutely amazing and really great prices!

Smiling Moose has a great selection of tasty, semi-healthy sandwiches and soups. If downtown for lunch, I will often come here to grab something quickly. Any sandwich with hummus on it is a winning sandwich.

Well... food tastes ok, but one of my kids asked for no tomato or banana peppers and got a sandwich loaded with both, my other kid didnt even get the applesauce that was supposed to come w his kids meal. For the price ($42) Im definitely not going back.

Subway Sandwich shop was closed so I found this place. Will NEVER go back to Subway when in Fargo. Mooses cold sub best I ever had. Tender and no gristle. Wish we had Smiling Moose where I live. Kudos

Food is delicious, but very over priced. I have ordered soup to-go 2 times and found the container filled half full. Not worth 7.00, you don’t get what you pay for.

I had the Mile High Thai and since Im a 25 year Colorado resident, I miss the Thai variety Denver had. This was an exquisite wrap with a peanut flavor and oh so spicy hot. Add a pickle, smokehouse chips, and strawberry citrus Vitamin Water and away we go!!! 5,280 gets me in the Mile High Thai club!!!💙 To die for

Foods been good but the last few tines my sandwiches have been getting messier and messier. The last time I actually had to wipe the entire outer bread down because it was covered in tomato sauce. Like it had been dipped in a bowl after being assembled

Waited 30/min for two cups of coffee... when we did get our order it was wrong. Very slow service. Will have to try again when its not so busy or something.

I was okay with it when they changed the name of the el Rancho, but now it seems like its been removed altogether from the menu. It was my favorite menu item. Please bring it back!

Used to be a great place to eat, last time we we went is the last time we will go. The counter help could not seem to stop playing with her nose piercing. First they charged us incorrectly then after we got the charge straightened out they prepared our food incorrectly and we got the wrong order. After returning to the counter three times to get things straightened out we decided we would just ask for a refund go eat somewhere else

Has a greasy smell to it. Most times I go in to get a soda and theyre out of pretty much every syrup flavoring on the machine.

Food is overpriced, is takes 10 minutes to get an easy order with 5 people working and no one else waiting. At least the food tastes good but doesnt make up for such slow service.
