I purchased from this business for the first time. Im not able to pay with a credit card on line due to identity theft. I can give the card via phone, only. I have to first call my credit card, so they let the charge go through.Such a hassle! I have a Charity for ladies with terminal diagnoses. One of my ladies has treatments every morning, and it often goes into the afternoon. I spoke to Michael, and got the payment made. Hes a good businessman, and he shows empathy for his clients with special circumstances. I was able to find many needed items for the Charitable space renovation in my home. A soft landing with support while they go through rough treatments. As a business owner for over 25 years, with no website, no advertising, all referral based, I appreciate great customer service! I have bought and sold through FM Liquidators. As a seller they are very easy to work with and accommodating, the contract is very clear and the payouts are timely. As a buyer my experiences have been good, the on-site auctions allow for flexible pickup times and someone is always there during the posted hours. I will continue to go to Fargo Liquidators as a buyer and a seller. I see no reason to go elsewhere.

When my parents left their home of 50+ years they had to downsize quite a bit. Fargo Liquidators sold a large Uhaul worth of stuff for them. The transaction was very easy. They did all the tedious stuff such as photos, descriptions, listing, and grouping items together for best results. Plus the payment for each sale was in our hands very quickly! Hopefully we wont have to downsize again for a very long time but if we do well definitely take this route again.

** UPDATE FROM FIRST REVIEW:Notice most of these Google Reviews on this site are from buyers and not sellers... There is a reason! My wife hired Fargo Liquidators (*actual business is Grandma’s Attic) to help us liquidate my mother-In-laws estate. The Owner was very polite and seemed trustworthy and told my wife and her sister that items would typically go for fair market value in the online auction. They totally believed and trusted him. My wife signed his contract and the mood quickly changed shortly thereafter. Once items were on the “List,” if they changed their minds it would cost them $50 per item to remove anything from the list even before anything was posted. He also verbally stated to them both that sometimes people change their minds after they go on the auction, so it would be OK for my sister-in-law or myself to buy it back, as long as it was not the person that signed the contract. As we saw the ridiculously low prices during the last day of the auction, I decided to do just that and attempted to buy back some of these very nice items that we would rather donate to a charity than sell them for nothing. I ended up buying back $467.34 worth of our own items that were going for basically nothing. Even though The Owner told them we could do this he now accuses us of “shilling” and instead of 28% commission as had been agreed upon, he now claims 50% of EVERYTHING as commission! Yes, it was in the contract that we did not examine since they trusted him, and we even took the matter to Small Claims Court but they sided with him because we signed the contract. What a terrible experience working with this company. It is hard enough losing a loved one and then have this person take advantage of the situation. I will never recommend anyone to do business here. For anyone that does, please be aware of the “gotcha’s” in the contract!

False bribing reviews through Owner. Buyers were given a free Garth Brooks biography and disc set for a positive review through the Google website. Thought I would share as its a very interesting tactic to boost ratings.

I bought a microwave from an auction and it did not work. I contacted Michael and he apologized and refunded my money. Fargo Liquidators can not check and test everything so it was just unfortunate that the microwave did not work. They were told that all electronic items worked prior to the sale but for whatever reason this did not. I have bought many items through Fargo Liquidators and will continue to because they are stand up guys.
