The customer service at Formally Yours was very impressive! Jill had a wide selection of wedding dresses in my size (0-2) and offered great recommendations on how to customize each dress based on the look I wanted. We were her last appointment of the day and she stayed open past closing so we could take our time deciding. All of her dresses looked brand new and were extremely affordable. I highly recommend!

I am so thrilled that we found Formally Yours! Let me just gush a bit about this place:-The store is much larger than it looks from the outside. I had practically two racks of wedding dresses to look at. (My budget was under $500)-We were in a private spacious dressing room. Beautiful and made me feel so comfortable.-Jill was unbelievably attentive and insightful. She came in to check the fits and sizes and would bring out more dresses that she thought matched the style and fit I was looking for.-Jill also made suggestions on alterations and what could/should be done professionally and what could be done maybe at home.-No pressure to buy! Jill was attentive but also let my mom and I alone to think. I really appreciated this because decisions can be stressful. (Usual dress appointments at most stores are usually 1 hr. We were there 2.5 hrs)In the end, I did buy my dress. However, I’ve been to a couple of other shops and this service, expertise and prices far exceeded my expectations— especially the service!Truly a hidden gem and they’re not limited to just wedding dresses.

This place is amazing! Its actually really big and has a lot of variety. There are more options than just bridal; they have a prom section, shoes, and accessories! Also the dressing rooms are huge, you get a whole room to yourself to have some privacy before you went out and showed everyone else, which I really appreciated.The service was unbelievable, Jill was sooo helpful. She came in and helped with zipping. She recommended alterations and different fits. She had a great attitude and expressed what she really loved about the dress. She also picked options that I would love based on the ones I already loved.I wish I would have known about this place when I went prom dress shopping. I highly recommend Formally Yours!

Olivia was absolutely AMAZING to work with. She was super patient and respectful of my budget/what I was looking for style wise. I came in alone due to COVID and my family being a few hours away and felt totally comfortable - Olivia helped me zip up dresses, and made it feel like I had a friend with. I would highly recommend visiting this place as a bride on a budget!

If you want a dress relatively soon, dont have 8+ months to get it, and dont have thousands of dollars to spend, buy your dress HERE!!! During COVID, all the dress shops in my town were closed (which was a good thing, safety and lives first), slowly began doing virtual appointments. I found Jills shop online and a dress I thought Id like, she answered all my numerous questions about specifications, was incredibly helpful and honest. She is accurate with measuring!! She is amazing, went out of her way to help me out and I have nothing but praise and thanks for her. I was nervous that the dress wouldnt fit and when it arrived (within days) all concerns were gone, it looks and fits exactly as we expected!! You wont get the care and attention like this at any large chain, I wish I knew more people in Fargo to direct to this business, but will certainly recommend friends to check out her store online!

The shopping experience is wonderful! Jill (the owner) was always wonderful, helpful, and cheerful! The store is beautiful and there as so many amazing gowns to choose from for all ages and all sizes!When my daughter went into the store to find out about a dress we had consigned through Formally Yours Jill wasn’t available so my daughter had to communicate with another employee. We consigned a $598 dress on 1-20-2020 for $450 and now think about what happened to our state/nation during the time this dress would be on a contract. Fast forward to my daughter going to the store to find out more information. My daughter was treated horrible. The employee wouldn’t answer her questions placed blame on my daughter and yes our contract had expired but the employee still could have shown their customer some respect & compassion. My daughter left crying! Ok I will take blame for not communicating with the store and talking about the dress sooner BUT there was absolutely no communication about the 5/21/20 contract end. The first time we consigned (just 1 year prior) a dress Jill actually called me and talked about the contract ending as we live 2.5 hours away from the store! This time NOTHING, NO email, NO call, NO FB message. And with everything going on with Covid-19 turning everyone’s lives upside down there should have been some compassion and some form of communication. By doing nothing says EVEN MORE. I’m guessing her business had probably suffered loss because of COVID 19 because our family suffered too. But treating my daughter with so little respect actually made it feel they stole from us!I have waited to write this review because I think there should be a time to reflect prior to a negative review because it’s the right thing to do! But it still causes my daughter to tear up when we talk about this. Everyone is hurting financially I understand but that gives no one the right to treat a customer like their not worth the time, their future business, and referrals. We have consigned 2 dresses and we purchased one dress from Formally Yours in Fargo ND.

Formally Yours is a gem! They have a WIDE variety of really nice, gently used formal wear. Everything from wedding dresses, to prom, to ties and accessories, all priced very fairly. I was very impressed!
