This visit was a quick in and out.They usually dont have as many customers as I have seen that day. I was kinda surprised, even so, there was a line, but it was very speedy. A little bit sad I have not been in this store in a while because I did not recognize any of the new employees. That being said, the service has not changed, friendly, quick and personal. 💯💯💯

Great selection of stuff, but Im very annoyed with my recent visit, I got a PS3 and when I got home and went to hook it up, they had given me the wrong power adapter with it, and I live 2 hours away so I cant just go trade it out, so now I have to wait an extra 4 days or so for one to arrive in the mail before I can use the console. Check your cables before you bundle them with consoles!!!!!

You cant beat the selection. Almost any game you want they will find it. Prices are high though and to be honest you dont get much at all for trade. But they do have to keep the doors open selling games so thats how it works. Staff have always been great and a fun trip down memory lane with all the retros.

Overpriced. They wanted $59.99 for a used copy of red dead redemption 2, said its a newer game and cant change price (2 years since release in 14 days). Went across the street to target and got a brand new one for $34.48. Bet if I brought the new unopened one in they will offer me $3 and sell it for $60

If youre a vintage game collector, this is the place to go in Fargo Moorhead! Granted, youll pay retail prices, but they are well stocked in games, consoles, and accessories. Trade in items you dont want to build up some store credit and cash it in on a hard to find title for your collection!They test all trade-in items and back everything with a 7-day return policy. Ive had great luck with my purchases.Alternatively, if youre out scouring pawn shops for titles and get a rare find, Rock30 actually knows what its worth and will pay good prices in cash or credit.

Loved the selection of games and was pleasantly surprised to see some games on the shelf. I even found a silver Mario amiibo, which I could not find for the life of me, that was a amazing price. But I really wish there was a price match feature on there game. For example I looked at pokemon diamond and it was 74 dollars! Which after the experience I bought on eBay for 12 bucks. Other than that, there supply of games was probably the biggest I have ever seen. And there service was wonderful and I will definitely come again.

Sold some games, very reasonable.

First off, I just want to say that this is THE play in town to get vintage hardware and classic games. I got all of the Nes, Snes and Gameboy advance games I needed for my collection here.The staff is also courteous and friendly. Overall my experience here is great, every time I stop by.My most recent purchase involved getting a gameboy advance, that way my kiddo and I can have some good old Pokemon battles.

I was a little heartbroken the way he treated me I felt like if I have a family member that called Im gonna call him or her back over the movies and I even told this person that I was coming back into the store to pick him up the movies. Whats not to love? They usually have I want and if they dont then they help me find it. I walked in there a few days ago and asked about an adaptor for my older style DVD player and he knew exactly what I was looking for. Both Best Buy and Walmart acted as if they no longer make such an item or that it doesnt exist so that they could sell me a new disc player that I didnt even want or need.If your looking for a place that has great service and will be honest without trying to get you to buy something you dont need and/or want, then shop at Rock 30.

I have personally been there multiple times and this is a great alternative to GameStop. These guys sell retro games and consoles. I hope this door never shuts down.

The guy at the counter was so helpful...thank you guys so much...small stores need great service to survive and he was great...they didnt have the game I needed in stock, so he actually call other gaming stores and looked up online at their websites for me around the F/M area till we found it! I have always received great service from this location. The selection of games is great and the staff has always been willing to order hard to find games in for me. The staff is friendly and great you as soon as you walk in the door. Definitely the exact opposite of a Gamestop and I hope it stays that way!

Great selection of the old classic games. Have gone in here a couple times for some Nintendo 64 games. Prices are good and they guarantee the games will work fine or you can return them. Staff was always good to deal with as well.

I come through here primarily for disc golf, the selection of new discs is hands down the best in town and the prices are what you would expect. The used bin unfortunately has become a bit of a sore spot for myself and friends/colleagues Ive spoken with as the pricing seems more than a little silly.It seems any premium plastic disc is priced at $13.00 regardless of wear or origination. For example an x-out disc which runs 8-12 dollars brand new online(plus shipping under certain dollar amounts) will be priced used higher than what was paid new. Or a used disc from a local league that cost 14 new will be priced at 13 used. There also doesnt appear to be consideration of inking or wether the wear of the disc is light or heavy, the price is typically $13.00 for premium plastics.Often times Ill have a handful of used discs that Ive picked out that I end up putting back because even with the three disc discount the total just doesnt make any sense to pay when new discs are priced so similarly. I genuinely dont know what they pay for discs as Ive never sold any and have no insight as to what their numbers looks like regarding what they pay and what they get out of their used bin but I would imagine at the very least more discs would sell (certainly to me) if they went back to $10.00 on some of these.Again though, I really do like the store, solid staff and good selection and pricing of new plastic. I just think the used bin is in a funny place.

This is my only stop for buying games. I refuse to shop for games anywhere else. The staff are awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive.The selection of inventory is mind boggling but if they dont have what your looking for they will go out of their way to find it for you.I tell everyone I know to drop the shenanigans of other shops (cough *gamestop* cough) and get to a place that will treat you right. Friendly employees and a great selection if games from across generations. Cheap used DVDs if your into that. Disc golf is also involved with a relatively large section. Large amounts of merchandise throughout of various franchises. A small but reasonable board game section. They also have used consoles. Always new items for you to but. My main source for any games prior to ps3 era. Overall amazing place for used games, DVDs, and board games.

Love this place. Sometimes the service is spotty and they tend to push third-party accessories over the authentic ones a bit too much, but overall I love going here. Great selection, reasonable prices, and nice atmosphere.

As a die hard gamer, I frequent Rock 30 often and still spend hours looking through their large selection. At first glance, the store looks small, but offers much more than at first glance. The selection of vintage equipment is awesome and all the extra novelty merchandise is better than any other gaming store has to offer in the FM area.

Good place to get games. Has good price on more recent games. The prices are a bit high on their retro games but its remedied by the massive selection of said retro games.(and every other game too).

Was very pleased after my visit today. usually rock 30 is not a vincent gallo friendly environment. however, after weeks of searching, we were finally buffalo ‘66 on blu ray for the reasonable price of $7. unfortunately, i remain unable to obtain a copy of the brown bunny. on the bright side, i can always find great ds games for very reasonable prices. epic store, just needs more vincent gallo
