I took an interesting and helpful class at Bakers! Was fun to see how excited the staff are about plants and learn more about how to best care for them. I appreciate the chance to support local and be surrounded by so much greenery!

This is my absolute favorite plant shop, and the non-plant things they sell inside the store are amazing! They have a great selection of plants and lots of cute novelty and seasonal knick knacks and decorations, kitchen goods, candles, socks, soaps and bath bombs, and much more! Their plants are great quality with a nice variety and great customer service. The pot selection is also great and they have lots of stuff for terrariums and fairy gardens too. They also offer little fun workshops you can sign up for. I highly recommend this shop!

This is the cutest little gift boutique and garden center! All their plans were super healthy, and had a wide range of options. Very helpful staff, decent prices etc. Would absolutely come again, and bring friends!!!!

I love this place so much!! Everyone working is so friendly and helpful! I could spend (and have spent) hours here! In the summer the amount of greenhouse space just keeps going and going and there is so much to see! I alway find the coolest plants! I should also add that I drive an hour to come here!! 💚

Baker has some of the best selection in town. From succulent plugs, to cacti, to food bearing plants they have it all. Their gift shop inside is also very charming. It had a lot of hidden gems, so take your time looking around!

Purchased recommended product that did not work. Called to ask what their return policy was and was told they won’t take back a used item. This is disappointing as they didn’t have what I wanted and I had purchased an alternative at their recommendation. Won’t be back.

Baker garden and gifts is amazing. They have a wonderful gift shop with unique gifts for friends or even to treat yourself. They have a wide selection of plants, both indoor and outdoor. They also have every kind of accessory or tool you could ask for. But the very best part are the classes they offer. They are an amazing value, and a great way to learn and check out new varieties of plants. The staff are all incredibly friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The prices are higher than what you would pay at Walmart or target, but the plants are also bigger, and much nicer. They are also cared for, so you know what you are getting. They also have a repotting areas so you can repot in the store and save yourself some mess at home.

Unbelievable place. Wonderful selection of the coolest things to decorate your home. HUGE plant selection. Deceptively large place. Nice staff, low pressure sales. Many local goods as well. I was impressed (I stopped on a whim). Left with a smile.

My sister and I went today to find plants for our mom for Mothers Day. We found exactly what we wanted along with more that we didnt know we wanted until we saw them. We had so much fun!

They did not have enough staff. Ran into 3 customers that were looking for help as I was and there was no one around. The plants are nice.

I love Baker and I get most of my houseplants from here! Today I had a bit of a rude experience with an employee, however. I was given a pot from Baker as a Christmas present and I brought it in to find a plant to go in it. Immediately upon walking in I let one of the employees at a register know that I had bought the pot from home and I was just here to find a plant, and she said it was fine. I picked out a plant and went over the the potting table. Another employee asked if I would like it potted and I said yes. I explained to her that the pot was a gift and I was just paying for the plant. She started to peel the sticker off the pot and I said she could leave it on. She said “well I have to scan it.” I explained again that the pot had been paid for already. She said next time to bring in a receipt. Ok whatever. As I was waiting for her to pot the plant she said “ma’am excuse me but I’m trying to social distance.” Totally understandable. But I was already like 4 or 5 feet away from her and we both had masks on and it she was just rude. I paid for my plant and left. Won’t be going back any time soon.

Nice place, they have adorable ND-made gifts inside. Weve bought 2 trees and 4 evergreen bushes thus far. I do like that they have a tree guarantee, I guess Im not sure how you return the tree but its nice to know they believe in the quality of items they sell even though they cant control the circumstances.

Wide selection, friendly service, all questions answered with a smile, online options, order online for curbside pickup, order online for delivery, and if you go there, you can pick out your plants and they can even deliver your items, especially larger items like trees and shrubs that can be hard to get home on your own!A great place for all your plant needs, everything from houseplants, garden veggies, annuals, flowers, perennials, shrubs, and trees, everything you could need!

I called to ask how they were taking orders and how fast they had orders ready. A woman named Katie (sorry if misspelled) answered and was extremely kind and helpful. Because i only needed one bag of potting mix she took my order right away and i picked it up 4 minutes later. Understand that if yours is not as fast they could be experiencing more business and be patient as these people are worth the wait. Thank you and i cant wait to start my indoor herb garden!

They have a nice selection but for some reason that place made me feel uncomfortable with something weird about that place cant quite put my finger on it definitely different

Just purchased A nervous plant and African violets through curbside pickup and they are absolutely gorgeous they came the cutest little gift bag which is perfect because they are a gift! Service was fast and wonderful order was ready fast as well.

This place is so great! Perfect place to find and plant or gift you need! Their workshops are unique and really fun!

Wasteful. They throw the plants that look little mangled and along with it they throw dirt and the plastic potting containers into the dumpster. So if anyone needs dirt or plastic planting containers look in their dumpster during the spring. (When I worked here I had the unfortunate task of doing so.. I know.)

Loved it. Very friendly. Could use a little more outside help. Especially by the trees. Might think about separating the young girls, since they like to chat with each other. But mostly a pleasant place.

These are the places that make FM a great place! I love going here. Wide variety and eclectic gifts. A bit expensive but I know my plants are going to last and they are healthy. I LOVE the potting service! Who wants to re-pot plants in winter? They do it for you and that makes this place a must.

I went to Baker a couple weeks ago to get some house plants, which I had never done. Hope was only on her second day and she still had so much helpful info about the three plants I ended up leaving with. Theyve really brightened up my house, and Im so jazzed about em that I needed another. Wanted something a little more challenging to take care of and Rachel made some excellent recommendations. Really really helpful staff, really really cool selection.

Very prepared set-up. Limited number of customers allowed at a time. Facemasks required. One-way arrows to direct foot traffic. Credit cards only. Smooth & quick check-out. $2.79 for cell-packs, $4.29 & $6.99 for large tomato plants (already buds).

Highly over rated, staff didnt know which perennials were rabbit resistant. There are a # of 🐇 resistant, will have to get the list myself & go look again. For the price they charge, youd think their staff would know more, but w/ the demonic virus rearing its ugly head, they havent had the time to properly train them...+

I have been a fan of Baker Nursery since 1979. Walking through the greenhouse to see all the new on trend plants is a thrilling rite of spring! I have been working with Chris Redding, landscape designer at Baker on several different projects. I have found his work to be innovative, detailed, thoughtful and thorough with his design plans and plant selections. Eric Baker is an excellent resource for his extensive knowledge of plants, plant diagnosis and recommendations. We are so luck to have Baker Nursery and their talented staff as a regional nursery!

We were on a mission to get rooting hormone and a houseplant yesterday and found what we were looking for at Baker Garden and Gift. This place has a lot of succulents and a pretty good selection of houseplants and pots. This is also one of our favorite places to get many of our flowers for potting. They have tons of choices, and they organize them by color, which is helpful and fun. We have also purchased trees, shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses here. They have a helpful, knowledgeable staff and they deliver if needed. Its not the cheapest place to go for these things, but its worth it for the inventory and the local knowledge about what to plant and how to plant it.

It is a pretty neat store, I was their in December, and have not gone in spring when all the plants are in. They had some cool stuff despite being the middle of winter.

This place is dangerous - you come in looking for one thing and will wind up finding all kinds of cool stuff to get along with what you needed. Want a bag of potting soil? Youll find the potting soil you want, but also some plants you didnt know you needed. Ill stop in for a few minutes turns into I suddenly need to plant a new garden.Beware. This place is awesome. :P

Bakers always has a great selection of high quality trees, shrubs, and other plants. If youre located in town, they will deliver your trees for a nominal fee.

Amazing selection of plants. The place is HUGE! Some staff very friendly, some busy doing their own thing... I was looking for a very rare plant and they had it. Price a bit high but worth it if youre looking for hard to find plants or unique gifts.

Love the variety of flowers and gifts! I asked staff if they could help me choose flowers for a basket I was making (Im not a great gardener) and they just pointed me to a green house and walked away. For the price, Id have expected better service.

Generally tends to be a little higher in price than other green houses. Entry area is a gift area with plants towards the middle and back of store. Several large greenhouses in back. I found the staff friendly and were willing to give you assistance when needed.

The young lady who range my purchase up was very nice and curious. The few staff people I encountered were pleasant and helpful. Always start with a positive. Sadly, there wasnt much more of a positive to start with.Just for starters, i nearly hurt myself trying to just get a smaller sized cart. They were sandwiched between large ones in an area too small to hold all of them. I had expected that the prices would be a little high (upscale building), but was shocked by just how much the prices were! I dont mind paying more for high quality, but this place was just overpriced.A lot of the plants looked to be in poor condition. Many of the plants were crowded on the shelves so leaves were broken off, looked under-watered, or were just not all that healthy looking. I had a gift card that I received for Mothers Day so my budget was limited.I finally found a 2 for $20 sale on a very limited selection of hastas and the most pathetic 2 packs of annuals that were a bogo. The only upside to my purchases is that I can divide the hostas and collect seeds for next year from the annuals. I wont be shopping here again.

I hate to do this, and Ive never written a review before, but dangit, it is nearly impossible to get any help at this store.I tried calling first to ask about plants/bushes/flowers in stock. They wanted to write it all down, then look around, then call me back. Seems a bit antiquated and inefficient? Other nurserys let me email the list in or even text it to their personal cell phones.So I decided to drive in. Give them the benefit of the doubt. After walking around for 20 minutes, I only saw ONE person working in the building (sans the checkout) and she was swamped and her answers were short and unhelpful (she was stressed - I get it).Anyways, I cant say Id recommend them. Just too difficult to work with.
