I like the Big Lots in Farmers Branch rather than the one in Irving. The setup in Farmers Branch is nicer and the store is cleaner. I was able to find everything I needed and then some. I will definitely visit this location more often.

Updated interior, better selection of goods, parking lot always has open spots, and the staff is very friendly.

Big Lots is a nice, convenient place to get some basic household things. Great prices and good for a quick shopping trip. I almost always find what Im looking for and find a few extra things not on my list.

Big Lots is a great place to shop. You can find some snacks and grocery essentials. Home decorations, furniture, best for pet supplies and toiletries. Cash back through Chase banking is a bonus and other discounts. This location has also been remodeled. They should update the picture. They are very friendly and helpful here. Great Covid-19 shopping standards.

Horrible experience. I’m not sure what happened to my previous review but I don’t want any people to experience what my family and I experienced. We were accused of stealing a $7 rug by an employee in the most rude way. My father and I had already checked out and were waiting for my mom to do the same. The employee came up to us and said “You didn’t pay for that!” The cashier stepped in and advised her that we did. She did not offer apology or acknowledge her mistake. Do better Big lots!

Not much to say... its a big lots, food is cheaper here though on things that are usually more expensive such as nuts and healthy items. Maybe they just had a sale...

Mostly good discounts. I am signed up for their club cards so I get even better discounts frequently. I really like some of their brands like the Old World Polish Barrel Sauerkraut...

Everyone was nice, wearing masks, etc. It was difficult to find someone to help me find things since the store has been re-arranged since I was last there. I was surprised at the lack of selection of things like toothbrush holders and other things to organize a bathroom sink area.

Was here before the renovation. Alot has changed. Good change. Alot nicer. Clean. Employees are very helpful and courteous.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the store had gone through an inside remodel and all the up to date merchandise was awesome. I will definitely be coming back to this Biglots.

I bought a product online to be picked from the store and when I reached to the store they said they have emailed me that the item is sold and they have sent me the refund.I would certainly not recommend Big Lots as they show somethings online and if the item is in discount they might say the item is sold, coz the same item is available at other store but now at higher price.I am feeling cheated and would not recommend to buy and trust Big Lot’s online website inventory.

Bought a matching chest an dresser buy the time they were going to put in my truck I noticed the dresser was broken from underneath good thing got my $ back people out there check your furniture before you buy 🤪

I got one of the little poloroid speakers that was marked for $10 thinking it would sound terrible but it has been just the opposite. And also I got it on sale for like $4 instead 👍

I Ive been shopping at Big Lots for at least 20 years here in Farmers Branch and I have seen it go through many changes. Its a store I visit at least once a week and the new redesign and New Management, Mister Mark, has done a fabulous job and the organization an upgrade of the facility. While the prices have gone up only slightly it is definitely worth the small increase for the difference its made in the selection the style and the overall appearance of a modern top of the line department store. I would encourage anyone to get Big Lots of shot if you havent been to one lately.

Discount store with good prices and very well organized. One of my favorite big lots. There are some items I felt they are not worth it: kitchenware, house decor and cleaning supplies.

Just remodeled recently. Looks great! Before it was always disorganized and disheveled. Products always scattered and just a mess. But now.... what a difference. So much better. Cleaner, organized, and overall better experience. Nice job! I hope it can stay this way. Really pleasant surprise to see the changes.

Front end staff (cashiers) are excellent. Very friendly, helpful & professional. Wish that all products were clearly marked with pricing info as opposed to some things & that there were more knowledgeable staff in the door that could better assist in locating various products.

Every Big Lots I have ever visited was clean, and well stocked. You can usually find some bargains and weekly deals. Make sure to find the end caps that have the at clearance items, alot of the times the deals are great.

Not my go-to store anymore, their merchandise quality has gone down hill over the last year or so, but they still have really good deals and pretty much everything. The furniture selection is okay, but the prices are outstanding. Where you might find something on sale a little lower elsewhere, their prices are really great all of the time.They have a wide selection of decorations for the holidays, and some sets you wont find any where else. The staff here range from the super helpful, friendly type to the severely apathetic.

Great store with clearance and discounted items. You can sign up for their customer rewards program which offers 15 dollars off coupon in email once you spend a certain amount at Big Lots stores. Always great deals to help with shopping for groceries and household items.

Manager named MARK is very prejudice and a liar. My husband went in there to do a return and was denied for not having our debit card with him. But when I go in there to do a return I NEVER get asked gor it. I called and spoke to Mark and he tried telling me that when doing a DEBIT return you always need to have it when I know thats not the case. My husband got denied because of his tattoos and thats not right! Hes not a thieve..we both work very hard. Will not be going there again!

Delightful but too far away. They have closed three stores remotely near me where I used to shop weekly.

Store employee Linda came at me and would not back down. She was only about a foot away from me. I asked her to back away from me and she continued to repeat the same thing over Its Not a Bed! I was terrified.

I really LIKE the things that Big Lots offers. The inventory the prices. The Discounts. BUT I WISH they would Remodel ALL of thier stores. Not just some of them. The ones they have remodeled I have been Very impressed with. Its like day and night. Its like day and night Old vs New especially the exterior part of the bldg many of the ones that have not been remodeled look old and run down. vs the others. You can remodel the interior. But its still going to look drab and blah vs the remodel version. Cool and Interesting. Some place you definitely want to visit vs EEEHHH. MAYBE. Or Maybe I will go to at home or home goods. Or Walmart. Theres so much competition out there. If you expect to keep up or surpass it you have to change completely not half way.

I was looking for a BQ GRILL and got what I wasnt looking fore but I brought it. After I got it home and went to put it together and it was broken so I return it for something different but only had the same one in the store. So I talked too the manger to see what he thought about the missing parts of that kind of GRILL so he had another worker too put it to for me, placed it in my truck but because I was greatful for them putting it together I for got to get a free warranty paper for the grill .

I was looking for a black TV sonsole tabletop go against the wall. I googled Joss and main and Wayfair

When I entered, there were 3 people in line/being checked out. After shopping for 5 mins, they were still in line/being checked out. As I waited in line, the person in front of my gave up, put his items on a nearby shelf and walked out of the store with a sigh. I waited maybe 10 mins before someone opened a third register and helped me. The 2 customers who were being checked out when I walked in at least 15 minutes earlier were STILL being checked out. Someone asked to speak with the manager and the employees hemmed and hawed...as I left, they hadnt directed the customer to the manager or said how she could speak with the manager. Normally this location is good, this time they had workers Id never seen before who didnt seem to know what they were doing or didnt care about moving customers along.

Its a good place where some time you find good special.

Big Lots is big lots. A low end retailer. Much of their stuff is junk and prices are inconsistent with other retailers. You have to know your items and prices and whether it makes sense to buy or not. They do have good deals on some things, particularly on end of season sale items. So you have to keep coming in to shop.
