I ordered carpet at the end of 2020. It was installed in January of 2021. The install was awful! Raw edges showing, seams visible, frayed in several areas, they removed some of the quarter round molding but not other parts so the carpet was uneven and they screwed a cheap metal transition into my brand new kitchen flooring even after I stated that I did not want a transition put in. They agreed to fix it by uninstalling it on the stairs & creating a runner instead. When the carpet was removed my stairs were destroyed. I was told everything would be fixed & they took pictures. That was in April. I still have not had my stairs repaired nor will anyone respond to my emails. This is despicable business practices. I have asked to have my stairs repaired and cost of the carpet refunded. The last contact I had with anyone was in June. I have sent several emails since with absolutely zero acknowledgment in return. These are just a couple pictures out of the many I have.
Tam was so helpful today in helping us pick paint colors and was able to explain all the selections available. I am so grateful for her patience and really making me much more comfortable in making such huge decisions like this!I was at the store with 3 5-gallen buckets trying to load them into my trunk and Seán walked over in the cold and graciously helped me load all of them into my tiny car! He was amazing and so helpful!Amazing employees like this is what will keep me coming back!

I walked up after being called to the counter by Carmelita at the service desk only to promptly ignored and she got on a call. I asked her after standing their for a few minutes if she’d like me to get back in line, she answered no this call was waiting before you. In my opinion proper customer service would be to service whose in front of you or don’t call the person to your counter so customers can be serviced by someone else until you’re ready. She finally assisted me after standing there for about 5 minutes.

The guy in paint was awesome but its like pulling teeth to get a piece of wood cut. While Im not expecting exact cuts I would like to have two pieces that arent about 1/4 inch different in length.

I went to Farmington hills location to by ready to paint pre primed wood they just got a new shipment in and the quality was bad. I talk to the managers Dan and Jeff about the poor quality and they told me I would just have to sand it down before I painted. They said they were fine selling bad quality products and if that is what they get sent from the distribution and that is what they are going to sell. I told them they should not sell bad products and should send it back or sell it as damaged. They told me if I do not want to by the bad products and fix them myself go somewhere else. Over all I am very disappointed with there quality standards and will be getting my products elsewhere now.
This HD is a small format store, so they have a limited selection. That combined with thier poor customer service makes me go to other HDs rather than this one.

Went in today to grab a few things today, one being primer. Frank in paint had a very upbeat attitude, was very knowledgeable and eager to help and got me what I needed. Even more, as I was looking at rollers, I watched him do the same for multiple customers after me. Phenomenal man and a valuable asset to the company. Could not be happier.
Store parking lot empty, aisles were roped off by employees performing required tasks, but, if I asked them if I could enter the aisle to purchase items, they politely moved away all impediments blocking the aisle.Not all items were in stock but their are many other brands ACCEPTABLE. Check out was fast.
Ive been going to this store since they opened. They carry a good selection of most items youll expect in a store like this. This store is organized and maintained better than some other stores in the neighborhood.They used to have all pros working in the aisles while be able to answer and walk you through practically the whole project that you took on yourself. Those numbers have gone down considerably in the past few years. Its hard to find anyone in the aisles anymore. Prodesk is exactly that; one pro in staff at a time, and theyll are not open the whole time the store is open.
My favorite Home Depot. I always place orders online and they always have them ready promptly. Customer Service is also very friendly to work with.
Everyone at the store is super helpful and knowledgeable. If you cant find what you need at this store, then the staff will most certainly assist you with holding product in another store. They have delivery and store pickup, which is convenient for everyone and very accurate. If you have a problem with the product, 9/10 you will be able to return it. Just remember to save your receipt, and downloading the app is a lifesaver! It shows locations and current sticks of whatever items you are looking for. 😁
My experience didnt start out well, but it ended up great. I called about product availability because the web site said Limited Stock and it was a 35-minute drive to this store. When I finally got a hold of someone in hardware/tools, he just looked it up on the computer and said we dont have any. I asked him to check, but instead, he tried to explain what limited stock meant and said its likely just the floor model. He admitted he had no idea where to find this item (a Dewalt Nailer). Not satisfied, I called back and spoke to a manager. Jeff was awesome. He went to the shelf and found the inky remaining boxed item in stock within about two minutes, and he even set it up at the service desk for me. Thank you Jeff!! The staff at the store was very friendly and helpful as well. I shop at various Home Depots often and thats the kind of service Im used to!!

Clean. Neat. Staff is not always familiar with what is in stock. They will tell you where they think it is but do not offer to take you to where they are incorrectly sending you.
My go to home depot. Smallish, but has a rental yard. The tile Selection is poor and the trim for wood is small Selection as well. But the store overall is great

This store is 2 miles from me. I would rather drive to Northville. The employees here are always gathered together chatting with eachother and seem bothered when you ask where something is. They also have no clue about their own departments. Not be sound sexist but the 20 year old woman who works in plumbing probably doesnt even know what a plunger is... The store rarely has anything in stock that I need but the employees are the issue. They need to clean house and get people who at least have held a pipe wrench before in there. Maybe ones that have customer service and are not rude when they are interrupted
Unopened pallets of items down each aisle, no assistance available and after 30 minutes of trying to find what I came for (suppose to have 5 on hand somewhere) I went out to the parking lot and ordered home shipment. Not a fault of theirs Im sure with the shorthandednes of all businesses currently but non the less the current situation.
Went to the store to get a key made, there were still staff members by me. The first one shrugged me and my friend off when we tried to ask him if he could call Someone over to make a key. The other one tried to roll off with his cart after the first one brushed us off. When my friend did get a hold of him, he told him the first one was out of order and the one next to it is very finicky but that the box in front of it was the new key maker they needed To install. I’m writing a bad review bc I did not appreciate the behavior of the two employees and I will not be returning

Wish there was a negative star review for this location.

Showed up for a big order, not ready, upset at family for sending me, big buckets, girl called for help but I was unaware, I went to get them but too heavy, guy overheard me on phone, was already there to help, loaded, checked me out, loaded my car, helped 3 others, took 4 phone calls, under 15 minutes. Stress free. Great communication. My wrist is sprained so thank you.
This Home Depot is really close to my house which is the only reason I go to it. If Ace Hardware on Walnut Lake has the same item, I will gladly drive further, and even pay more. Why? Customer service and atmosphere, which is the opposite of Home Depot. Today the greeter was leaning against the wall playing on her phone. Good luck finding help. Ive been here many times and most of the time I am disappointed. Rarely, there is a nice, helpful person to counter the non-greeting greeter, the lady who was rude at self-checkout a few days ago, the pack of wandering workers on their phones, and the kid I asked a basic hardware question to and had no idea what I was talking about. Convenient, big selection, good prices, lousy customer service.
Worst Home Depot I have ever been to. Came in and was in a great mood. After dealing with the lady at the register who would not give me my military discount even after trying to show my ID. Very angry and no one should be treated disrespectfully. Especially over a discount for military service that Home Depot has in place. All I wanted was some Halloween decorations.

Its so funny though you can tell the lazy workers, you can look like youre trying to find something and they hide between the isles walking past you quickly. I had a Home Depot corporate office call the Farmington Hills location this evening 7pm 5/25/2021 for assistance with customer service. The corporate representative put me on hold and 10 minutes later she told me the customers service rep she was speaking with at the Farmington Hills location, hung up on her. That’s another example of the level of professionalism you’ll find at this location.If your planning to shop at a smooth operating, professionally run Home Depot, this is not the location. Reasons are not at all related to Covid 19. Poorly organized, overwhelmed customer service and a surprisingly unfriendly staff. Poorly updated stock on this store locations Home Depot website which apparently, from conversations with management, is a well known issue. Don’t expect an item to be in stock at this location just because the Home Depot website shows it to be. And do not expect a staff member to be friendly or exert much energy to help. I was a regular shopper at the Southfield Home Depot for 11 years til moving to Farmington Hills. The Farmington Hills location has been nothing but a disappointment. Make the trip to Southfield or Northville for well stocked stores and professional staff.

The was my first time at this location. They had the mulch I wanted and they seemed well stocked. They have all social distancing markers in place and smooth self-checkout.

I rented a Uhaul truck 🚚 here. The two people that assisted me(picking it up and dropping it off), were great. The gentleman that helped me when I picked the truck up was very nice and although we were in a hurry, he was a bit gabby. I absolutely didnt mind, because I can get that way myself, so it was kind of nice to meet someone that didnt mind chatting with me for a few minutes. However, the friend I was with made sure to break up our little chat fest. When I dropped the truck off the next night, I was done in(Im physically disabled) and the gentleman that helped us was kind, efficient and solicitous. He even asked if I needed help getting out to my vehicle, since my friend had left already. It was a great experience all around. Thanks Home Depot. 😊

Three words Incompetent and UnknowledgeableTheir employees know nothing of their areas ask questions and they cant help, or try to make you buy multiple things or a complete pack when you only need one or two things cheaper then what they push to sell if you dont have witts about you and know exactly what you need. The employees can be seen socializing with one another lazly in wood, paint and carpet area rather than offering help to anyone. Yet they get paid good money just to chill when supervisors arent watching disgusting. Also when looking to get in line an employee unaware of where the line starts has people waiting in wrong spot and not correct and will not be back.
