Great lakes Ace was the best hardware store Ive been to in a long time. Fully stocked shelves knowledgeable staff clean clear aisles. Willing to go the extra mile to make sure that you get what youre looking for.

Went here because the item I wanted to purchase stated online that it was available for pickup. It even told you how many was in inventory. Got there and they didnt have ANY!!! WASTE OF TIME!

Tired of big box stores.. me to. I go here for common things that I dont have to go to big box store for. I always go here for nuts, bolts, screws, etc.. items harder to find at the other stores. Friendly staff always willing to help and you dont have to hunt them down.

Not all Aces have the same products a little disappointing

The store has a wide variety of product, great fast and friendly service. Easy to get in and out quickly. I couldn’t believe it when I found a very specific kind and color of spray paint here after stopping at 2 other large home improvement stores. This is my new favorite place to shop.

Stopped by on the way to my job today to match a chip.Not a store I remember using before, but the helpful hardware man, right?After we waited for two employees to finish their personal conversation at the paint counter.The lady ordered me out of the store for smoking. I wasnt smoking.I put out a cigarette before I entered her store. Completely extinguished. NOT lit.Then the helpful hardware man REFUSED to match the chip!We tried to reason with him.Very often our work requires matching existing colors and your paint people are always so cooperative and respectful.Ive had a customer card for years.Ill never stop here again.Thank-YouMilo

I was just in this store and they allowed customers to shop without a mask. Amazing to me after it is a requirement state wide. Be careful when shopping at this store.

Ordered a grill from Ace.com - it was routed here. We ordered an uncommon (natural gas) model, so it wasnt in stock. Though the automated system generated an automatic rejection of my order after I expressed the desire to wait, Davon was able to comb through all the bureauocracy and get my order in - Many thanks to you Davon!Now I just need the grill...

Nice store but didnt have what I needed.

Local Home Depot was out of stock on a common item, customers werent wearing masks, one employee wasnt wearing a mask. I showed missing items to manager and mentioned lack of masks. He couldnt have cared less but was polite. I went to this Ace. They had exactly what I wanted at a very similar price, plenty of help from workers, followed Covid rules to the letter. Ill be back.

Employees should be better trained and know how to work the area or the whole store where they work. Came in today to make some keys and the employee at the key section looked untrained and lacking skills to make the keys and kept telling me I dont think we can copy this key. Funny thing is they did it before why wouldnt it work today. After 15 minutes keys were made and they all work fine. Good idea to have employees trained well before letting them work alone.

This was my second time shopping there, will go back. Store is clean and organized. Both time greated by two young guys, more than willing to help, what a concept. Good job!

I like to stop here when I need to pick up something quickly and dont feel like doing the whole huge hardware store thing. I can usually find whatever I need. The prices are competitive. Its convenient. I dont think you can go wrong if youre looking for common household goods.

My wife tried to return a blower/trimmer combo I bought her but we didnt have receipt. manager all but accused her of stealing it and trying to return. fortunately I scanned my Ace card when I bought it and they were able to see the receipt but nothing like being called a thief. we wont be going back.

Ive been shopping here for years, they have a good selection of items. Hours are a problem. Only open until 7 pm on Saturdays. Thats the day most people need them open later. It is nice that they open at 8 am (9 on Sundays). Only giving four stars due to the short evening hours.
