The crepes are delicious and the drinks are great. its nice to sit in the front yard under the sycamores :) my favorites were the steak and mushroom, and the one with mozzarella, tomatoes, pesto and prosciutto. The only thing is that it can be pretty slow if theyre busy, but if you are chill about time then just enjoy the atmosphere and the tasty crepes :)
Loved this cute house turned cafe! We were pleasantly surprised by how delicious both the savory and sweet crepes were. We got and shared the Gawdawful crepe (sooo good) and the Biscoff Banana crepe (equally good). OH we also got an apple cronut (cross between donut and croissant) that I could have eaten 10 more of. The staff were friendly and the space was clean. Lost a star because the wait was a bit long.
Food was mediocre, one of us got a panini that didnt come with chips like the menu said, crepes were small, overpriced, and took 30 minutes when there was hardly anyone else there and plenty of staff in the back. Lattes were good, honestly I think its a good place if you want to just get a drink and a snack, but for a meal its not worth it.
Very disappointed with this place, the menu looked very good. The staff seemed to be very unorganized and lacked knowledge about their product. They messed up or drink order, giving us the wrong sizes of what we ordered. We also witnessed other customers having their orders messed up as well. They didnt know who ordered what items because they lack general organization. I had the steak and mushroom crepes. The steak was not good and was likely a Steak-um or similar product. The crepe itself was bland as was the hollandaise sauce.
This place is great for an unhurried lunch with friends. I brought my mom and daughter here for a girls lunch and we enjoyed it immensely. Darling old house, big trees, ate outside in the cool shade. But if youre in a hurry, you might want to order ahead, as everything is made fresh to order, and it took a good 15 minutes to get our food (hence, the 4 stars). We shared 3 different kinds of crepes: The Marco Polo, one w/steak and mushrooms, and (our favorite) an amazing, pesto, tomato and prosciutto special. DELICIOUS! For desert we shared a Verona (+ strawberries). Well be coming here again.
Fascinating little find when driving through. I came by here with a friend after finding it suggested on a google search. Food was delicious and had a lovely presentation, with great service. A lovely girl named Kat(Or Kate) was very helpful helping us decide what drink to get, and helped us with a second choice/options when they were out of chicken for our first. She was very helpful to her other employees and funny :) Only issue was a couple other employees kept talking over her, which made it hard to hear her and the music was a bit too loud, but quality and service made up for it I believe. Definitely try their crepes but call ahead to check busy levels if you’re in a hurry!
First time coming to this place and saw the employee struggle trough a rush! Fortunatly she did so amazing for holding her self and making mistakes, got trough her orders and recomended some amazing coffee for my brother and I, if everybody that works here its as amazing, kind, and well mannared employee as she was then Ill for sure be coming back!!
Delightful historic old building, a place to study and think, a great place for artists. Yummy pastries and coffee, but terrible tasting entrees, an egg with some hash browns on it? Eew, I probably could have made that at home myself. But the pastries, coffee and tea are good. And the decor in the building, old mirrors, dark wood. Its where all the ladies who lunch and pretend to be French in Farmington go. And Slug Magazine is carried here too if youre a poet. Strange hours though. It closes at 3 PM on weekdays.
I met a friend for breakfast here and loved it! I had a Milano breakfast crepe and my friend had a sweet berry variety. It was delicious! We enjoyed sitting outside under the shade trees. Great place. I will definitely go again.
I’ve gone there over 100 times it’s always been the best food i’ve ever tasted in my intire lifess it’s so friknnn goood
Cute shop. The coffee was good. Service was nice, but pretty slow. There were only two other customers in the store and it took longer than expected to get our coffee--1 latte and 1 house drip. Would definitely go again.
It was good except we ordered 2 croissant breakfast sandwiches that were supposed to have ham, bacon, egg + cheddar on them, but we’re given to us only with bacon and egg, no cheese or ham. They were still ok but would’ve been much better with a little cheese. So just double check before you leave the restaurant!
Cute little cafe in the middle of sleepy Farmington. Coffee was hot and the food was delicious. Great for a little romantic date tucked into a private corner.
Well, the food was good, but unfortunately, the service was so poor that I likely wont be back. I understand that wait times are long when short staffed and hand preparing food, but this was pure chaos. There is no organization among staff whatsoever. We saw several different team members jumping around to fill several different roles, none of which appeared to further their progress toward fulfilling orders. My friend and I each ordered a crepe and a drink. My drink arrived first, after being seated for about 20 minutes. Then we received my friends crepe after another 20 minutes. Then after another 20 minutes, I got my crepe. Then my friend was informed that the drink she had purchased was out of stock, and what would she like instead? After ordering a substitute drink, she waited another 20 minutes, at which point we had already finished our meal. This piecemeal delivery was not an enjoyable dining experience. In order to improve efficiency, I suggest a dedicated cashier, a dedicated cook, and a dedicated server to attend to seated guests. If any of these roles become unneeded at any time, assign a hierarchy for team members to assist in another role. For example, as the cashier, if there arent any customers to check out, first assist the server, then the cook. As soon as a cashier becomes needed again, return to your primary role. This seems simple, but appeared to be lost on the staff at Caffe Torino.I also suggest that out of stock items be erased from the menu daily. It is a chalkboard menu so this seems like a simple fix. This should reduce customer dissatisfaction, as it is frustrating when items that have already been paid for are found later to be unavailable.
So yummy! I asked about a raspberry salad crepe and it was a special for Mothers Day, but they had the ingredients and made it for me. Friendly and helpful staff. Love the location. They have a few pleasant outdoor dining tables that would seat about 4 people and inside dining. We ate outside in the shade.
The first time we ate here it was delicious!!! Today we were extremely disappointed. Our food came out COLD, in fact the cheese wasn’t even melted!!! The bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in weeks so gross. Unfortunately, we will never eat here again.
Wait was very long (45 min for coffee and sandwich), coffee was watery. Service super friendly and doing their best but seemed relatively untrained (not their fault). Menu selections good but did not match website. There was no sugar available for coffee (only artificial sweetener).
Quite a bit underwhelming for the price. The tea was really watered down and flavorless. Out of the three meals we got only one had any kind of seasoning on it. Not to mention it took forever to get out meal. Just remember everything is a crepe which is french not Italian as suggested.
Great coffee and the cronuts are delicious! This place definitely isnt fast getting orders out but its worth it to spend the time sitting in the yard enjoying the atmosphere.
Took a little long for the food but was worth the wait sat outside under the trees was wonderful
Absolutely love their steak and portobello crepe, also their peach cobbler crepe. Today I tried the apricot and brie crepe for the first time and i have to say, it is unreal good!!!! The service is super friendly and very helpful. We have enjoyed their acoustic music set the past two weekends now on the back patio.
Nice little place I downtown Farmington. Food was good and I would eat there again. Only draw back was that they served us individual instead of bringing both trays out at the same time. Of course they may not have a warmer to keep the first dish hot. Great Crepes.
This place was amazing!! I came here with my boyfriend, his mom, and his friend. The wait wasn’t terrible, and the two girls working were super sweet, friendly and answered all of the questions we had. The crepes/paninis were large and tasty! The coffees/lattes were hot and delicious, especially the specialty flavors. The atmosphere was homey and green; so pretty! I will be coming back every time I come to Farmington.
If you are looking for a small, romantic crepery or a place to meet up for a quiet brunch with friends, this is it. I especially enjoy the outdoor seating. My favorite is the very berry crepe which is seasonal to berries, but delicious and light. I like to follow it up with a walk along Farmington Trail, which can be accessed only a couple of blocks away. I cant wait to try their special cocoa drink, which I understand is like drinking pudding. Ill try that out this winter. This was a great find!
I just walked in on September 28th and the girl at the desk with long light blonde straight hair did not even look up and was too busy on her phone to interact at all. After i stood there akwardly for a few seconds and then got glared at i turned around and left. Guess when you glare at your customers and act like they are bothering you when they walk in the door they will take their business somewhere else. I then asked her name and she said she couldnt disclose this information🤣🤣🤣 Cute place...employees who apparently are way too busy on their phones to do their job. Sorry I bothered you this morning🤣
Delicious. Slow! If you don’t have an hour and a half to kill don’t shoot by.There were 2 people ahead of us, it took 45 minutes to deliver three crepes.
The coffee was ok, dessert was great but I had the eggs Benedict crepe and it was not good. The eggs were practically hard boiled and the hollandaise sauce had split do it was runny instead of creamy. It didnt have a good flavor and was very salty.
Really cool vibe and decorations. Much better atmosphere than a Starbucks.
It was such a long name...it was chicken raspberry crepe something but they forgot to add chicken on my order. So it was just some veggies and raspberries on the crepe no chicken.
Great place to enjoy a quick brunch bite. Great waitresses and even better food selections. Enjoy
THOSE LADIES ROCK!!This is a cute little place. Im not sure why the negative reviews though...The 3 young ladies working today were so darling and helpful as I have never been there before.I told them what I usually get at my local coffee shop and they made something to resemble just that. I love crepes and I was so happy they make them fresh here. Sounds silly, but I was thrilled to watch her make them and asked a lot of questions. Even if I was annoying she was still super sweet and answered my silly questions. My frappe and #2 crepes (so sorry I forgot what its called) were delish! Thanks ladies for being so helpful and educating me on your little coffer shop!
Over all the food was really good but we had a 40 minute wait time for 2 crepes and a couple drinks. I don’t know if they were just extra busy at that time or what was going on. Even that being said we would go back to enjoy the food and drinks again! B
This was an unexpected but amazing find! Great coffee, pastries and an amazing place to spend some time just enjoying the patio. 100% recommended if youre in the area.
10 out of 10, hands down recommend!! You guys I love this place and I’m so happy it exists. Their cappuccinos are the best I’ve found since the cappuccinos I literally had in Italy. And the Crepes are always as good as I want them to be. The vibes here are relaxing, cozy, and welcoming. Hats off, thanks again!!
Great food and coffee! Quiet, peaceful place to eat and drink coffee. Apricot & Brie crepe is amazing! Definitely worth a drive to come eat here.
So cute, very busy! Delicious crepes! Was a cute little hole in the wall date for the hubby and I.
Perfect crêpes, whether savory or sweet! Thanks for wonderful food and service!
The food is great, the atmosphere is excellent. The only issue I had was waiting for my food after ordering by phone while looking at it behind the counter for over 15 minutes because it was too busy and no one stopped to let me pay. Sadly I had cold eggs benedict by the time I got the food home. Probably best to just order at the restraunt and wait.
Good food, and an comfy fill. I come here when I want to surprise my wife with a sweet and delicious breakfast.
The place was amazing, a hidden gem in Farmington. Great atmosphere, great service, and the menu offerings are absolutely delicious and well prepared. Glad I found this place I truly love it.
Been there twice. Both times have waited over an hour for a couple crepes and a coffee because they only have one person. The food and coffee are delicious. Just plan on being there for a while.
I love stopping here on my way to the Farmington bay NWR. They always have the most creative crepes and delicious coffee! If youre in the area I highly recommend. The staff is very nice there too!
Food is delicious, the environment is great, just the perfect cafe to hang out with friends and try new coffee mixes. Ask the barista for recommendations!
What an incredible local cafe, and worth the drive from roy! i wish i had gotten the employees’ names while we were in, as their service was fantastic. the girl at the counter was very sweet and welcoming, and the man working with her was super helpful with my wheat allergy by letting me know what food options were safest for me. absolutely worth the few minutes we waited for our drinks and crepes, everything tasted amazing and fresh; my mother and i were very impressed with the gluten free crepes! i cannot recommend this place more (:
Thank you for the great experience! The cronuts and crepes we had when visiting here were delicious. We had a very short wait time in the middle of a Friday so it was perfect for us. The staff was very nice as well. 😊
Super cute location, staff is really nice. The space is really comfy, feels like you can hang out. So glad they relocated here.
Very unique and delicious food. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The cronuts are amazing! Great new place to eat.
I love this local gem. Their crepes are so delicious my kids and I enjoy them. Summer time is the best when you can order and sit on the patio. Such a nice feel. Sometimes there is a wait, but the food is worth it since it’s made fresh.
So charming, clean and everything I’ve tasted is delicious. Everyone that works here is so kind and super service oriented. I love spending time here!!
My new favorite breakfast spot, unfortunately 2000 miles from my home.
I’ll preface this review by saying the food is really good. However, every time I come in, I’m told it’s a 40-50 min wait. This happens on weekday mornings too. I waited the first couple times, but now it’s just poor management and inadequate staffing. They should have ready and offer some items ready to go. Additionally, the staff needs better training. They are easily overwhelmed and short with customers. Definitely not worth the 40-50 min wait.
We actually called in separately to make sure we could eat here at 6:00 PM. We were told that they close at 7 and that 6 would be perfect. When we arrived at 6, the door was locked. We did see a person inside. They told us that the hours had just changed and they close at 6:00. I sure would have liked to give the food a rating....
Love this place! Great drinks, cozy atmosphere, and most of the crepes we’ve sampled have been delicious. However, I’ve knocked down a star due to one of the employees. Most have been wonderful. But a very young employee was rude, acted like we were bothering her by walking in the door, and then slammed our drinks down and walked away saying “there’s your stuff” without turning around. It was odd. I was there with my daughter and we were really nice. Not sure if she was having a bad day or what, but it was a pretty bad customer experience. And the drinks were awful that time. If that had been my first time there, I would have never returned. Luckily, the other employees have been fantastic.
Im torn between 4 and the very seldom awarded 5 stars. It is a very attractive quaint little place with all the charm I hoped. I was told they had excellent yogurt parfaits, so I asked and it was no more. So, I selected my drink of choice from the posted options. That wasnt possible either. The atmosphere was charming so we stayed. The staff joked with us as we placed outs order by that time about Im pretty sure thats available or maybe I should check that as well. You get to seat yourself while you wait for your drink and meal. When drinks are ready they let you know, and then, out of sheer courtesy. They brought pour meals. The food was great, and they added a complimentary toast to the soup and salad for the menu complications and thanked us.It is a fabulous little quiet environment for a little lunch or early evening dinner date.It isnt handicapped friendly, so bear that in mind.
I love coming here! The food is always delicious-especially the apricot brie crepe- and the service is always professional. I am also always impressed with how kindly, but firmly, they enforce the mask policy. I will keep coming here because of this, as I know they care about the safety of their customers. I will always recommend this place!
Great food and service! Cute little place to sit inside and outside.
Friendly service, quaint ambiance and tasty food!
Such an amazing place. Always had enjoyable food here, the cannolis are amazing. If its busy, its well worth the wait for the fresh food and friendly staff.
Great crepes and coffee. But when they are busy expect a decent wait time. When we got there they only set expectations after we had paid. We were in no rush but would have been nice to be told before we ordered!
I am so sorry. That was in error. I meant to give you 5 stars. I love your place. The service and the food is so wonderful!
Food is fantastic, but every time I come here (4 occasions now) the service is incredibly slow. The staff will often not know which ticket to work and instead jump between orders rather than finish one ticket. Horrible communication between the staff combined with a lack of direction makes the wait time for orders multiply by 2-3x. Drastic improvements in the operations of this business are needed, but I definitely think it has potential to improve.
The cutest little bakery place for lunch anytime in an old house 🏘️
Quant cute little cafe with great choices for crepes
Great place to slow down and relax, enjoy great coffee and food. Service can be a little slow but weve come to expect it so its just part of the experience.
Having lived in Italy, this place was surprising and nostalgic. I ordered the Venezia crepe. The crepe itself was delicious and a good portion size! Unfortunately, the banana was well past it’s day of being fresh, and probably should have been used for banana bread. I understand not wanting to waste food, but fruit should be crisp and fresh when eaten raw. The girl at the front was probably one of the nicest servers I’ve met, and for that I would 100% return and try again.
We used to frequent the Farmington station location and were curious how the new location would pan out. Definitely a great move!! The new location means better seating, better atmosphere, comfortable (with seating indoors and outdoors), quiet, and expended menu. Food is wonderful, coffee is on point, and staff is super helpful and friendly.I couldnt resist a sip before the picture...
The atmosphere was so cute and I really liked the food!! I just hate that I had to wait 40 minutes for a cronut and a hot chocolate. I wish they could at least hand me the treat in the display case before I waited. Wait time was estimated to be 15 min...Very cute, but not worth the wait
Took 45 minutes for 2 coffees. The people after us got their coffees before us.
Amazing crepes in a cozy environment! The apricot and brie crepes are particularly tasty. I’ve only been in on Sunday mornings, but have never had any issues with wait times.
Found this little gem today. Ordered a chi late and strawberry, banana crepe. The barista was super nice, and even though several people came in after me, she still got my order to me in a timely manner. This is the first crepe Ive had that hasnt been drowning in nutella. It was deliciously balanced in all the flavors. The chi late was just a speck too sweet but I would still order it again. The atmosphere is inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating. I foresee myself coming back here quite regularly in the future.
Wonderful food! Cozy and quaint!
Caffé Torino is seriously the cutest place and everything you want on a quiet Sunday afternoon... Italian, quaint, lots of outdoor patio seating and amazing crepes and coffee! Plus the service was perfection. Order the Monte Cristo crepe you won’t be disappointed!
The service was horrendous. I waited for almost an hour to get my food. People who had come after me got their food before I did. The workers, who I’m assuming were the owners, were rude and abrasive to anyone that asked questions, including their young staff members. Very disorganized and not a good experience. Will not be returning.
I ordered through DoorDash. Ordered a Caprese Panini. It came fast, but I sure was disappointed when I opened it. Very small sandwich and the cheese and tomato had leaked clear through the bread on the bottom. Almost like there was no bread on the bottom at all. I have eaten here before and It was good, but todays sandwich was not worth $2 let alone the almost $9 it cost.
