FANTASTIC!!! Amazing staff and stylists. No matter who I go to in the salon, my hair comes out absolutely incredible, will never go anywhere else but here. Entire staff is happy, friendly, helpful, makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. If I didn’t already have a job I’d want to work here, just incredible!!!

I have had so many negative experiences at this particular Ulta that it’s unreal. The employees are so unbelievably rude and snappy about literally everything. When I had a stylist at the salon botch my color, they argued that I must have done something to my hair to ruin the color when I hadn’t even washed it. When they tried to fix it, they dyed it back to my natural color and tried to call it good. I asked for my money back and they fought me over it and I ended up having to go through corporate for it for weeks to get it. I just left after finding out that a third party Ulta gift card wouldn’t work, to which my response was, “oh. Okay.” I didn’t want to spend the money there when I could get the item cheaper elsewhere when I thought I had a gift card. I wasn’t angry, I didn’t pitch a fit about it, I simply no longer wanted to buy it, and the associate yelled, “it’s not our fault!” after me. I know that and I didn’t insinuate or act like it was. I don’t know why everyone here is constantly in a terrible mood but I’m done giving second chances to this place. I’ll just go to a different store where I don’t constantly wonder what landmine I’m going to step on with normal behavior.

I come here at least once a week for my beauty products. The ladies are all so nice and helpful. I didnt have to ask for help. It seems like everyone approached me at least once to make sure I found what I was looking for.

Nicole was extremely helpful with any questions I had and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I was looking for.

I made an appointment to have my hair colored with high and low lights. The lady who scheduled me made my appointment for all over color . When I got home I called up there to make sure I was going to have enough time for them to do my hair or reschedule. The lady I spoke to on the phone assured me they had blocked off 3 hours to do my hair. When I got in there the girl acted like she didnt want to do my hair and had other plans. She said she didnt have enough time to do anything but an all over color in the 2 hours she had aside for me. I have went to other places and they had done highlights in 2 hours so I dont understand why she couldnt. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

When I entered store, someone approached to help me. She took me directly to the item I was looking for. I appreciated it because I was in a hurry and needed to get in and out quickly. I will go back to this location to browse around and shop.

Very knowledgeable and helpful with picking out makeup and fragrances. Brow services were great and Im very pleased with the results.

When I walked in no one would wait on me. I have to ask if someone would help me. The item than I wanted was not marked I had to take it to the Cashier she acted like it was a bother for her to ring it up and let me know how much it was.I purchased $68 worth of merchandise. Cashier put it in the smallest bag she could find. When I got in the car all the items fell out of the bag.They wereThree boxes and two bottles of face products. I would write the store 0 stars but I had essed one so I could put in a review.

Ulta is great!! So so many brand names. A bit frustrating not being able to actually see or use the samples, but I get it. Covid.... 🙄 Only reason they get 4 rather than 5 stars is their prices. A lot cheaper on Amazon.

Prices next to products don’t match the price at the register. Wanted to get a Moon product that showed as 14.99 on display, when brought to the counter it rang up as 19.99, cashier did not honor price. Pretty disappointing in the false advertisement.

I went here to get a foundation awhile ago after I ran out of mine. I’m very very pale, so only about 1 or 2 brands have foundations that are light enough to fit me. I also have very dry skin. When I was looking for a foundation here, they “matched” me to one... that oxidized on my face. It was orange. They covered it in powder which put it to normal and tried selling both products to me. I told them I wanted something more hydrating, and that I don’t like using powder because I have very dry skin, due to eczema. They said, “looks fine to me” and “it’ll be fine if you use these products” And managed to convince me to buy both products (around 85$) and after 3 days of using both, my skin couldn’t take it anymore. I had the driest, flakiest skin on my face. I couldn’t even use the makeup I had just bought. And I couldn’t use the foundation without the powder because it turned orange on my face! They push you to buy products here that your not happy with instead of listening to your concerns and what you really have to say.

I went shopping at this store recently and I was DISGUSTED with the service. I was in the store with my sister and we were followed throughout the store by the employees. Their concern for us was not of the welcoming nature. It was uncomfortable and harassing. It was very clear that the workers thought less of us. My sister is a frequent customer of the store and regularly buys her favorite perfumes from Ulta. I had never been to the store as I recently returned to the country after 10 years of active duty service over seas. After picking out a few make up items and a bottle of my favorite perfume I walked towards the back of the store to look at blow dryers and try to find a good face mask product. I was stopped by a worker who told me I needed to leave my perfume at the front of the store while I shopped. I found that odd since several other ladies were carrying their products all over the store. I ignored it and continued to shop. The harassment continued and we were continually followed. Around the store at one point the employee even ignored a customer who needed her help to question me about the products I was looking at. At check out some my purchases warranted a free gift. The worker refused to give them to me stating Oh, well we dont even have those. I found it odd but said nothing. Next to me a lady purchased the same item and her clerk went straight to the cabinet and retrieved the gift. I then again questioned my cashier and she told me that they did not have any more of the gifts. I asked to speak to a manager and she told me. All of our managers are busy what can I help you with. I was never afforded the opportunity to speak to a manager. I am disgusted and offended to be stereotyped and judged because my face was not caked in makeup I was not dressed up. I was in casual clothing and my hair not done up. I was instantly classified when I walked through the door and the harassment continued until I left the store.

I went in for my first time to the salon for a hair cut. Not only was I met with an exceptionally, friendly and hospital staff but received probably one of the best hair cuts I have ever had. I would highly recommend Drew he is incredibly personable, talented and passionate about his job. In addition to giving an awesome hair cut he recommended some hair styling cream that I really like. Truly a fanastic experience.

I went to schedule an appointment to get my eyebrows tinted yesterday and the lady scheduled me with no issues. Today, I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get this appointment done and they deny me because I don’t have a parent signature which I was never aware you needed. I explained that my mom was in the hospital and could not come but she could call and approve for me and they still said no. I am extremely disappointed and will not be going to this store again.

Magnificent! Make a budget before you go because you can lose your self in there! A huge store with every beauty item a Midwestern girl could ever need! We love it!

I’ve been looking for new foundation for about a year trying to find medium to full coverage that doesn’t roll off of my skin or cost a small fortune. Will (I think was his name) helped me in minutes. The color is a perfect match and after 16 hours my face looks like I just left my bathroom. Love this location and their staff!

Im a dude in a makeup store, shopping for a woman who constantly watches makeup tutorials. When I say that their employees are super helpful I mean it. I wasnt the easiest customer, and I definitely had a ton of questions. The store associate helped me procure a collection of makeup and accessories for a birthday gift. Which she absolutely loved, there was no way I could have done it without them. I totally nailed it, and she bragged to all her friends about how well of a job I did. Little does she know, that I had no part in the selection of the products.

The girl that works the Brow Bar at the ULTA in Fenton, MI is amazing. This is the best color and shape that Ive gotten from any of the places I visited.

My favorite beauty store!! I could spend all day in Ulta! The staff offers help and are very friendly. But, they dont follow you around nor are they pushy. If you just want to browse around, they let you, and stay out of your hair!!!!

They have everything I need in one convenient location! Happy they are now local!

A week ago Lindsay helped my mother pick out some Lancôme make up. It has been several years since my mother has even owned any make up products. Lindsay was so kind and patient. Not only did she give recommendations, but she also taught my mother how to apply it! Thanks to Lindsay for making this day even more special. My mother has been through a lot and now says she feels fancy!

I went to get my hair bleached because I didnt want to fry my own hair. The lady that did my hair couldnt even do that. I asked her to make my brown hair a blonde. I wasnt asking for a light blonde just a blonde which shouldnt have been hard. In other salons it usually takes 2 hours and costs $140. I was there for 4 hours and my hair is not even 2 shades lighter and vaguely red. I am so disappointed. This place has fabulous reviews. Afterwards I walked around for a minute or 2 and all the ladies there gave me judgemental stares and refused to talk to me. All in all I paid $200 for the lady to ruin my hair. Im never going back.

Ulta was the last place I thought I thought I would be discriminated against. I pass as male, but I still enjoy makeup and the way it makes me feel. When I had approached an employee with questions I was not expecting to be answered with condescension and flat out disrespect. No matter what race, gender, or sexuality you may perceive someone to be, no one should be made to feel uncomfortable in your store.

This store is AMAZING! All the workers were so helpful when I was there. All of them smiled and anytime I had a question they were super nice and made me feel important. I didnt realize they had a salon in there until one of the stylists came out to help me choose a product for my hair. She was extremely knowledgeable about the different lines and recommended some of their in salon treatments. I will definitely be visiting there next time I need my hair done! I am sooo pumped there is an Ulta in Fenton now!!!

When you dont need the workers they keep asking you if you need help. When you do need then hard to find. Have to walk around to get the cleaning items is bothersome. I wish every station were stocked. All the time. Not just sometimes.

I came to the Fenton location because ive had bad luck at the flint store. Mackenzie helped me with my brows and blush. She rocked!!! Im definitely going back to that location

Ladys working dont understand their own sales. Cashier doesnt understand how to use coupons. Too many time have I been in here and frustrated with their service. Id rather drive a half hour out of my way to Auburn Hills or Flint or wherever there is another one than come back here.

I live near the Ulta in the Burton area but they were out of the Nyx birthday palette so I called before I came to this one they had the Nyx birthday pallets available the girls that helped me were very friendly and the store looked a lot cleaner than other ones Ive been to in the past the samples were not spilt all over the place they keep it nice and tidy

The stores beautiful, the customer service and knowledge of the staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Customer service is horrible. I was there last week and I had questions but the older brunette lady was very rude and looked down on me. Never coming back to this location, I rather drive to Flint or Lake Orion.
