Literally the best place for cigars ever! They have an insane selection, a family atmosphere, quality customer service, and a beautiful Bulldog to keep you company while shopping!
Cigars aren’t the cheapest but they really now how to maintain a quality product. It’s worth paying more for cigars that smoke perfectly.
Absolutely my favorite cigar bar! The person who helped us told us everything about each cigar, recommending ones based on time we had to smoke and what we were drinking. A beautiful shop. Then you go into the smoking room and it is the greatest man cave you have ever seen. My brother and I sat in there, had an awesome cigar, and watched a movie right before my wedding. Will absolutely be going back!
Best place to get any cigar u are looking for
Poor customer service. Owners treat the place as their second home, items all over the place. Large selection of cigars though. I was assured I could return an item without issue, but it apparently made the owner mad that I was returning the item. Told me she could have sold the item “a million times by now.” Owner doesn’t give receipts so make sure you ask! Service charge of $3.99 passed on to customer for credit/debit card use. Prices are higher than other places. If you’d like more business, maybe you should treat your customers better. We will not be returning.
Love this place. Has an incredible selection and something at every price point. Ever cigar that Barbra has recommended has been spot on. High recommend to any cigar enthusiast from beginner to accomplished aficionado.
I wish I could give no stars because the owner BARB has a terrible attitude and is very pushy for you to buy. She doesn’t truly care about the customer but only about the money. Most of the cigars are way over priced and ALSO DRIED OUT. I would definitely not recommend anyone to go to this store unless you want to be disappointed tremendously
I have found this cigar store to be very friendly, super well informed and above all nice to the cigar novices such as myself. i would recommend this establishment to anyone who is needing these services. I have visited others that were helpful as well but I find this team to be a step above and well deserving of my future business.
Well after reading these reviews, im compelled to leave a comment. My brother and I used to go to cigar haven a lot until we found out there are cheaper options with better selection and better community not far from this location. We dont smoke cigars too often but we are not uncultured. For the first time ever I popped open a cigar from its case to find it molded after purchasing from cigar haven. A serious disappointment if a third party stops to think that people gave their time and money to come somewhere and purchase some product only to find their night plans are ruined because of poorly kept product. I dove deep into researching what is the difference between Plume and Mold..... this was mold. Returned to the store a few days after, greeted barb kindly, and before pulling the cigar out of the tin, barb told me it wasnt mold. She hadnt even seen it yet. When kindly disagreeing (mold was growing on the label, proving it wasnt plume), she aggressively said with other customers in the store, well what would YOU like me to do? Taken back by her tone: I give up, take an $8 loss, and convince myself that my feedback is somehow worth the $8. Do not go here, Carmacks is better, I wont be back.... also should probably go wash the mold off my hands.
Nice and knowledgeable staff. With a solid selection of cigars
This a great local shop. Wonderful selection, great location, and the cave: worth the price of admission.$15 worth of cigars = admittance to the cave.
Wonderful store. Ive been a regular customer for about ten years. Barb is very helpful and has always provided a good recommendation. As for the reviews mentioning mold and plume, of the hundreds of cigars Ive purchased from Barb, not one has shown any variance in quality. I am looking forward to my next Cigar Haven Caribbean smoke-stick, which will probably be tonight.
Always an awesome experience! Owner is so knowledgeable and helps pick out the best cigars. Lounge is very comfortable as well.
Barb provides a wide breadth of tobacconist experience that allows her to give supreme advice on cigar selection. Theyve been reliable at this location since 2005. Go here over all other choices!
Love this place. Can relax an have a cigar in peace. Its hard to do it any better.
Excellent customer service and good prices!
Friendly, knowledgeable, laid back and a cool lounge.
Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. I work in the area and its my go to spot for some of the harder to find cigars. Also if you buy a humidor from them they will season it for you.
The staff was super helpful in explaining different types of cigars and humidors. I went with a travel humidor for the golf bag, clutch. Spent $50 and got a $5 off chip for next time. Highly recommend.
Good knowledgable service!
I go almost every Saturday. Good selection and friendly staff.
Excellent selection. Prices on the high side but not outlandish
Good selection of cigars. good staff. i like the fact that they keep their humidors set high - i dont like dried out cigars.
I stopped in to find a real cigar, not what Im used to, (a cigarette on steroids), the gentleman I spoke with was very nice, patient, and listened to what I had to say. He made several suggestions and explained why he suggested them. Very knowledgeable and even more, much appreciated!
Been to this place about 20xs and each time was more and more disappointed. The people there are knowledgeable and the selection is greater than in other places. Each time I have gone I have purchased a decent amount of sticks and at least half are either completely dried out (some were even in tubos) and others were over humidified and only about 20% of the sticks I bought were actually smokable right out of the store. Store owner is quite judgemental and when I tried to introduce my friends and family to the place they get discouraged by the way the are treated in there. Ill drive an extra 20 mins to get cigars I can actually smoke and not feel like judged the whole time. I would upload the pictures if the cracked/dried cigars but they were on my old phone.
Wonderful staff and store. Barb went above and beyond for me. I have finally found my shop.
Helpful!
Good selection of cigars and helpful, friendly staff.
Nice, friendly, and informative people. Very good selection of cigars.
Good selection of cigars, nice lounge room.
In town for a wedding, staff was very helpful and picked some great sticks for us to enjoy.
Great cigar shop, great selection and the owner, Barb, is friendly and very knowledgeable...
Great Selection and friendly staff. I enjoy going here to try a new cigar or just pick up one or two of my favorites.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great place for cigar amateurs and conessours
Is it possible to give a zero star rating??? By selling mold covered cigars as cigars with plume this store is risking the health of all its customers. It is obvious that the owner and employees dont know what they are talking about if they call that plume. Is it really worth your health to try a mould covered cigar ? Unbelievable that this place is still in business!!!! They have been told multiple times they have mould.... To the point they put a sign up !!!! But its DEFINITELY not plume. This is just disgusting. All those cigars ruined.
I have been a Cigar Haven customer for many years, and resisted agreeing with any of the negative reviews: Until now.I recently visited the store after a fairly long absence. Barb said hello, as usual, but wasnt as talky as usual. She looked busy and I thought nothing of it. I did my usual stroll through the cigar cases undecided as to what I would like. In the past, Barb has always intercepted me in her jovial way to show me the latest thing and give me a recommendation. Not this time.As Im strolling things arent looking like they used to. The cigars just dont look good in general. I see the mold others are talking about and I look past it. (Theyre right too. There may be plume on some cigars, but there is certainly mold present.) I shouldnt look past such things, but hey... this is Barb and the Cigar Haven!I found something to try and bought it. I also see a new sign on the Haven door that membership is now monthly and etc. I ask Barb a couple of questions because this too is new to me. I freely admit to Barb that its been a while since I was in. Her answers dont make sense to me and Im sure it showed on my face, and she finally just says, if you buy a cigar you can still smoke it in there.I enter the Haven and it looks essentially the same. I did not go into the back room this time.I go to my locker, and I dont have a locker. I open it anyway and find its empty. I hated to see my name pulled off the locker door and hated to see the cigars, lighter, and cutter I kept in the locker were gone too.I go back to Barb to ask what happened, and she told me I had not been there for a long time and how they had put notes inside the lockers and I wasnt there regularly enough to begin with and etc. The more she spoke, the more bitter she seemed to be!The eviction of me and my property from the Cigar Haven was hard to take. If there was a note left in my locker, I never go it. Why no phone call? I have spent a lot of money there and my family has bought many gifts for me there as well. I havent been there regularly, as Ive admitted. Its August now and I can remember being there last winter. (Barb also stated its almost winter again.)No need to explain everything that kept me from being at the Haven more often, and Barb did not ask. What she doesnt know is how many customers Ive sent her over the years or how many times Ive been there in the past when she was not there. She doesnt know how even when I could not go, Ive been a loyal supporter sending others without me. And she doesnt seem to care about such things either.I dont even want to suggest Barb is wrong in evicting me. Its her place and she can decide who she wants and who she doesnt. But I would advise her to reconsider her next eviction. There doesnt appear to be a high demand for lockers as most of them are empty. Rather than evict, had she said, Wow. Where have you been? Things have changed around here and if you want to keep your status, heres the new program. (Something along those lines.) Any effort to create a positive experience; I would have stayed.I see several glowing reviews and Im not sure I get it. Ive been going to the Haven for at least ten years and I am certain of one thing: Todays Haven is not the Haven it used to be. I was giving the Haven five stars ten years ago... even three years ago. I find Barbs criticism of how I wasnt regular enough to be very unfair and hollow. (When membership was annual, nobody cared how often you came in.) Even so: I was there as often as I could be, always wanting to be there more. However, I wish Barb and her staff good luck. I hope combining the Haven with the new bar venture next door does not spread them even thinner. I am assuming the bar will be open past 8:00 PM., when the Haven is closed. If I ever see a banner stating New Ownership or Under New Management I may try the Haven again. Until the, theres The Blend, Nicky Blaines, and even Carmacks... just to name a few.
A honey hole for boutique cigars.
This place would be great if Barb wasnt rude
Not a fan......Owner is rude and cigars stail.
They carry la tee da fragrance lamps. They are the only place I found who do. La tee da company sent me there.
Always helpful and friendly. Great selection and a classic cigar shop!
Absolutely the best selection and prices in the area.
Great place to watch tv and smoke a cigar.
Dozens of cigars covered in MOLD! Owner is so arrogant that she placed a sign stating that it is Plume, not Mold! Many people have brought it to her attention but she ridicules them and treats them like idiots. Shed rather follow the almighty dollar at the health risk of her clients. The arrogance is overwhelming.
Been there a few times and that old lady was rude to me every single time. I wont be back
The humidors in this place are poorly kept, and the cigars are moldy. The manager tries to tell everyone that its plume, and a sign of a well aged cigar. Sadly it isnt, and she is lying, and also endangering her customers by selling moldy poorly kept cigars.
The staff is so knowledgeable, and there is something for everyone! Women welcome!
Nice people and great dog as the greeter
I called asking about a certain cigar. The old lady was short and didnt sound like she knew a single thing about cigars...I wont be going there while on my trip.
Great selection of cigars
Best cigar shop in the state.
Always helpful and full of knowledge
Great as always.
Excellent place to get cigars
Unfriendly folks....wont be returning
The lady really knows her cigars.
