I recently bought a 2018 Volt back from a lease, 33K miles. It was so so easy, no games, i feel like I got a great car at a great price,, and they took care of everything, even picking me up from the train station when I came out to pick up the car from Boston. I wasnt intending to buy, only look, and they made me an offer I couldnt refuse. I had my mechanic look at the car yesterday, and he said it had new brakes and everything was perfect. I was impressed with the team member I spoke to set up the service appointment. This was my second experience with Colonial Chevrolet-West. The service time was exactly what I was told, which was greatly appreciated since I waited in the very clean and comfortable waiting area. Absolutely horrible. Ive tried to schedule recall repairs 4 times with this shop. Each time theyve told me that theyd order the parts and call me back...... Well, theyve never called me back. Then, I went online to their website and scheduled an oil change. Everything went smoothly until I showed up. Apparently, they arent certified to do my oil change! I said that their website allowed me to schedule the work, why? They responded that it was my fault for not including the VIN number! I pointed out that there wasnt anywhere to enter the VIN number!! They said thats too bad, we cant help youIf they knew the year, make, and model of the car then wouldnt a follow up call asking for the VIN *before* the scheduled appointment be a reasonable idea?! Maybe even an apology that they did nothing to try to remedy the situation?This place is the absolute worst. Nonexistent customer service, no empathy, no interest in helping anyone, just miserable people doing the absolute minimum necessary to skate by. Ive gotten better help at literally every garage or dealership Ive ever been to in my entire life. Every. Single. One.Save yourself and just take your business elsewhere. The time spent on the road will be worth the peace of mind and satisfaction youll get from knowing that youve avoided the bump in blood pressure youd get from dealing with the incompetence and apathy youd experience interacting with this bunch of clowns.

The car has not been fixed. We put the car in because it was pulling to the right. They said they drove and fixed it and it clearly has not been. We asked that they look at it again, and did not even drive it. We have the original mileage and when we picked it up.In addition, when we said it was not, they did not agree. They felt it was aligned, but something else is wrong. The wheel is tight when turned to the left and lose when turned to the right. My tires are uneven after only a small amount of miles.. SOMETHING IS STILL WRONG. Taking it elsewhere.

My three year old Silverado with 45k miles wouldn’t crank/start, so I had it towed in. Colonial West and my service writer Jackie did a great job keeping me informed on the progress of my repair. The diagnosis and replacement of my starter was covered 100% with my extended warranty. I am happy with the service I received.

I started my beautiful Monday morning off at Colonial West! Had to go and order a new part for my new vehicle I bought at Colonial. The service was great! Coffee is delicious! Deals this month are unbelievable!! Vehicles are to die for! My Monday was an amazing day here at Colonial West!!

I recently purchased a 2015 Chevy Silverado. First thing was very pushy sales team. Second the truck had tires that barely passed the first inspection and I asked for new tires before purchasing the truck and was basically laughed at for wanting a fresh set of tires rather than tires that were on their very last leg. I wanted the truck so I purchased it anyways. Upon picking up the truck they did a great job cleaning the exterior of the truck but after I got home there were crumbs of food and small wrapper pieces all over the floor behind the seat. Website advertised as smoke free truck but found a burn mark on the seat. After two days of having the truck the belt started squealing every morning I started it. Set up an appointment and had to inconvenience myself to bring it in to have it fixed. Was called at 9:30 the morning after stating the truck was done and that the belt was dirty, so they cleaned it and that fixed it. I asked if the belt tensioner was inspected, I was told all pulleys and tensioner were inspected and were all in good working condition. I reluctantly picked up the truck that evening and sure enough the following morning when I started the truck the belt was squealing again! So once more I had to make an appointment, inconvenience myself and be with out my vehicle for another day. Received the call that afternoon that the belt tensioner was bad and had been replaced. If only that could have been replaced the first time it would have saved both me and the dealership time and the dealership money for having to take the truck in twice. I respectfully voiced my frustration and displeasure and the dealership, not only during the service but also during the sale (tires), has never done anything to earn my business again.

Bill was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made my experience easy, stress free, and I got the Trailboss that I have been wanting for a while. I never felt pressured and I appreciate that. I will definitely be sending friends and family his way. The dealership overall was also great to deal with. Carlos was great with the financial questions that he answered. Beware!!! If I could give no stars I would. Raffael doesn’t know his job Carlos and Gino very unprofessional. Those three made false statements about what was added into the financing for accessories. Raffael kept leading us on then finally tried lying his way out of it that’s when I spoke to Gino who was SO UNPROFESSIONAL making rude comments and remarks thought the situation was funny. He was trying to stand up for the “sale rep” and say we were in the wrong that we were aware. The vehicles check engine light came on two days after bringing it home smh

I would not go back! Went in for a lube,oil, filter & rotation special--after over 2 hours went into service advisors area to get status--was told I needed 4 tires, new radiator, ball joints, transmission cooling line, wheel alignment, etc. I purchased it new in 2015, keep up with all maintenance--havent put an ounce of coolant into the radiator or fluid into the transmission since new, tires are not in need of replacement(had one slow leak which they did not fix as asked to). I rotate my tires periodically, have approximately 30,000 mile on them, truck inspected a few months ago and passed(no loose ball joints noted). Vehicle has 83,000 miles on it(mostly highway) and is in perfect condition(inspected myself after service and no leaks noted--no fluid loss. It should be noted I usually do my own maintenance and repair but sometimes ship it out during the winter)). I plan to send a complaint letter to the atty generals office--dont want shop to take advantage of other unsuspecting seniors with this kind of unneeded repairs(they wanted $3760.00).

Just bought a used one owner leased 2018 AWD Chevy Trax with low miles the other day.After making a inquiry online the sales manager John was very prompt and courteous to answer my questions and a cash offer. I arrived at my appointment and met the sales Representative Vinnie who was professional and helpful, reviewing the car exterior / interior and motor as well car functions.Took the Trax for a quick test drive, was very impressed on its handling and had me sold.Only remark would say is I wish more time was spent making sure I understood all the car functions, how they work and program being all computerized.Bill of Sale all handled very professional and courteous as well on time appointment home delivery of the car.One thing they could have done which would be over the top is have the vehicle come delivered with a full take a gas without charging the customer for it, as I payed to have the car filled before delivery. The car did have roughly a half tank of gas at the purchase and that kind of detail service goes a long way.I look forward to building a trusting relationship with Colonial West in the future with car sales and maintenance; trust they will deliver remarkable service in both departments as I expect nothing less in this area.Thx again Colonial West Fitchburg - I hope to enjoy my purchase for years to come.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This dealerships sole purpose is to make money at any cost to the customer. I bought a truck from them that has metal in the fuel system. The truck is a 2015 Silverado 2500 diesel, vin#1GC1KWE82FF117925. They took the truck back 7 days after purchase when I found metal in the fuel system due to a failing fuel pump, a $10,000 repair on this diesel truck. They would not fix the truck or give me my money back, instead they forced me to buy my trade in back from them and charged fees on top of it. The truck with the bad fuel system is currently for sale on their lot after they learned it has a mechanical issue. Jeff the general manger is unprofessional, disrespectful, amoral, vile, crude and a prime example of the worst in the car sales industry. Stay away from this dealer at all costs.

I was extremely frustrated. I made an appointment for 11:00 a.m. I dropped my car off and came back at 2:30. My car had not even been brought in yet. I had to wait even though I had made an appointment. I was extremely dissatisfied by this. I do not understand what the point of making an appointment is if the car is not going to be serviced at the appointment time. This is completely unacceptable.

I brought my car in for service and they had everything done in under 2 hours. Fast and good.

I had woke up on my wedding day w a dead battery ! I called and spoke with Chris in service he first told me he was booked and couldnt fit me in then ended up making time to fit me in ! It took them 15 minutes to replace my battery and get me on my way thanks again to Chris and team for the great customer experience!

We purchased a vehicle from them today and were pleased with the experience. This was definitely our best experience with a car dealership. Everything was done with ease and I felt no pressure from our sales associate. Our sales associates name is Ivan. Ask for him if you happen to shop there.

The service department completed my truck in record time and was extremely friendly throughout the transaction. Unfortunately I did not purchase my truck through Colonial, but their service may be the reason I purchase my wifes new vehicle and my next truck here.

The salesman didn’t do anything I had to keep calling checking in see what I had to do next and when it would be ready. Then they said vehicle is ready. So I drove up there to pick it up waited for little more then two hours then get in the truck their”detailing” crew scuffed up the trim on the inside of the truck. There was scratches on the exterior of the truck that where not there before. Pay 50,000$ for a vehicle and it is already scratched up

Felt uncomfortable in the waiting area. there were employees walking thru the area with no face coverings on (MASK) one in particular that went thru or in and out of the cashiers office at least a half dozen times. Even thou there is a notice that mask must be worn while in side the building.

This was the 1st time I ever purchased a car from a dealership and it was about a year and a half, almost 2 years ago. The entire process with finding and purchasing a car went so smooth, and they worked with me to ensure my car was within budget and I was on the road in a day and a half after my old car died on the road. Since then, I have been coming exclusively back to the dealership for service and maintenance, and they have been incredibly helpful and up front about everything. Ive had so many people warned me about getting maintenance and service is done at a dealership, that they always tried to charge you more than they should or whatnot. This dealership has always been our go to since we moved in Fitchburg. Unfortunately we’ve lost all confidence and no longer trust the service department. We purchased both our vehicles in cash (brand new) at a different t dealership. We’ve actually been shopping for a new vehicle but it’s obvious this dealership isn’t a company we can trust. We handed the keys to the dealership with working rear view camera but after they work on our vehicle it’s no longer working. This was the second time that this happened and makes us question their business practice. We’ve never questioned any of their work. Majority of the work done to our vehicle we paid out of pocket. We’ve never questioned any except now because it’s definitely a very big coincidence the exact same thing happened. I will certainly be going to another dealership moving forward because we no longer trust this dealership. They’ve definitely lost a customer for life.UPDATE: I contacted Jeff at the phone number provided below. I left a voicemail but never received a call back.

I think the service department is very thorough and clear in what I should expect with each visit and always check with me before doing something that would increase my cost. They are willing to take the time to answer all of my questions and walk me through what was good. They work hard to make sure I am getting my moneys worth. I have dealt with three other dealerships and Colonial West Service department does not rake you over the coals. I had a turbo that was going, a trashed water pump, and a blown fan motor. Even though my turbo wasnt ready to be repaired they replaced it before my warranty was void. And I was charged no labor for the warranty repairs! Which has not been the case when I went to dealers in the past. Service is great. Sales was also very flexible with me picking out my new car. I walked in and test drove and bought my car. The whole process maybe took a little over an hour and half.

He lets me go into the bay to go over any problems that we have and explains the necessary details to make things right.As for the sales team, Colonial West has a well rounded sales department. Terry is the sales person I deal with. He is very knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to get me the vehicles I need. He is very thorough as we go through each step.Carlos the Business Manager not only got me one of the best interests rates for our purchase but covered all bases on the purchase and best price.Ivy made sure all three new vans was an enjoyable part of another purchase. Terrible experience. The were very pushy, the when we finally decide what we where going for we applied, we had to called them all the time if not they would not call us. And we had to give up. I would not recomend it to no one. Is a waste of time.

Everytime my mom brings her chevy there something else breaks, and the light is going off in the car and when u turn the ac on and it howls and they are trying to tell my mom that there is nothing wrong. Idk if its because shes a woman or they are lazy but clearly they are bad mechanics

Everyone at Colonial West is so nice. We love Jose, Edison, Ivy and John. John was very helpful getting the financing squared away. Jose sold us our Traverse and it was great to see him when we were in for service over the weekend. Ivy saw I had my hands full with my little ones and rushed over to open the door for me. When it comes to service we are always well taken care of. Edison and crew are great. Its easy to get an appointment that is convenient and we are in and out. They always make sure my whole family is comfortable while we wait. We appreciate all of this!!

No sale today, but I was very happy with the treatment I received, and found Terry very accommodating and pleasant. They will absolutely be shopped if I finally decide on a Chevy.I tried a diesel powered Equinox, and thought it was a very nicely done small SUV overall, and definitely something I would encourage you to try prior to purchasing anything.

Finding a new car is not what it used to be. After a year of confusion and less than stellar tactics from various local dealers, I went to Colonial-West Chevrolet to look at a used car. PAINLESS....kind folks, not pushy, of course they want you to drive away in a new car...and I did! Kudos to John Lane on treating me like a friend. I am in a new vehicle, not too flashy but safe, comfy and within my budget. Thrilled!

I usually dont go out of my way to write reviews but after this amazing and quick experience I have too, my sales representative was a gentleman named walter, amazing guy who is understanding and easy going, most dealers try to push push and push to get that sale and this was the first time (in a long time) where I did not feel pressured and pushed. Walter explained all my options, all my vehicle features and had my best interest in his mind to give me what I want. I definitely will be doing business with this company again and I will definitely come back and have him help me out again. He is a real good worker and I would recommend him to anyone!

Terry was great! He was very attentive and help full and continues to follow up even after the sale to make sure I am satisfied with my purchase. My husband and I recently got into two vehicles from Colonial West! Steven made our experience pretty painless. He was open, honest, not too pushy (which I like!) He was a great salesman! He was very accommodating to our needs and in getting us into what would work for us! Along with Steven, the rest of the staff was very friendly, honest and helpful! From the manager Gino, to the finance manager Carlos, and the other salesman George who got our vehicles ready to go for us, they were great! I would recommend going to Colonial West! :)

Went in on 1/29/18 to purchase a new car after I had totaled my vehicle a few days prior. I had gone in to see Tommie Fountain and thank god I had previously purchased GAP insurance with my 2016 Chevy Cruze from Tommie as it allowed me to purchase a new Chevy Sonic 2018! Not only did he help me start the GAP process but did an amazing job guiding me through all the steps. Definitely above and beyond and will be recommending to everyone. A few weeks back I had to have a pretty major car repair. Tania Audet went out of her way to help. My warranty was just 2 days expired and she worked with the colonial team to get my warranty to cover most of the cost of the repairs needed. She was super helpful when I called multiple times and she kept me up-to-date through the whole process via text message and email. I felt comfortable and at ease through the whole process knowing that Tanya was going above and beyond to make sure I got the very best service possible!
