Its Market Basket. Ive never had any bad experiences shopping at any of them. They staff is friendly and helpful if you are looking for something. Market Basket is one of our go to store for grocery shopping.

Baggers need to be better trained. Supply reusable bags, cooler bags each visit and have to rebar every week. Frozen food mixed with canned goods, etc.

Absolutely the best store ever! Im from Minnesota and was told to go there and try their subs. BEST EVER!!!!! All their deli food is just phenomenal! The employees are so kind and helpful! Wish they had locations in Minnesota 🤩

90 Water St location is the best MB location for my needs. Super helpful pleasant staff. Many dairy, soy, egg and certified gluten free items that are yummy and healthy. Organic produce, fruit and black angus, chicken and Leids pork selections are still expanding. Keep it up MB!

I shop here for the fruit and vegetables. Spanish food so I can make.

I have no complaints, employees are very courteous,the shelves are well stocked,prices are very reasonable and affordable, I know prices are going to increase in the coming weeks and months.

Went to the Fitchburg store tonight. 7:30...store closes at 8. 3 people in the deli only one working. The other two are busy talking about what they wont do. Not once attempting to help some if the customers who were waiting to get their meats before closing. Now its my turn and its 7:55. No time to grab the few other items l needed. Whats wrong there? Is it poor training? Poor management? Employees with just no desire to do a good job? Now because of this, they lost valuable dollars in sales that another business will get.

Great prices. Most of the workers are really helpful. Some... not so much. But hey, for a grocery store all the managers got above and beyond.

Only if I can give this place no stars. Management is terrible, nobody follows one way signs, place is disgusting. Once you’ve made it pass the bums at the liquor store and the stench of cigarettes, you make it into a place where you don’t feel safe or welcome. Hardly nobody wears masks. The store manager and and the customer service manager are the rudest of all. I would feel bad for whoever works here…

Not my favorite Market Basket, but its the closest. They have pretty much everything I need. I wish they had more Asian foods, like baby Bok Choy. The staff have always been great. Its a bit small. My biggest issue is that the store has a sign asking customers not to give money to, panhandlers. It says it would be better giving money to charity and has the audacity to claim that giving money to individuals only contributes to the problem. I feel like they feel homeless people are as valueless as pigeons.

Great place to shop, no need for coupons, no maximum to buy for specials. What prevents me from giving 5 stars? After the strike I noticed prices on various items increased. The .30 to $1.00 lower price across the board I s what took me out of the way to get to MB. Now. If I am going past Hannaford or Price Chopper the extra travel has not been worth it. The weekly circular hasnt really had many WOW items as in the past. Not sure if store expansion throughout NE has taken up resources, however over all you can save money..

Quality food for a good price, and its also a good place to cash checks without breaking the bank. 👍

I have shopped at the Fitchburg Market Basket for years. I stuck by them during the Covid, I supported them through their problems during their ownership issues, etc. and as far as the store itself I do enjoy shopping there. The store is clean and I feel it is safe for me to shop there. I have to shop on Saturdays due to my work schedule and I must say I have had the worst problems at checkout over the last six months to a year. The young kids that work on Saturdays just don’t seem to want to be there. Many times I come home with cans in top of my bread etc etc. Today I bought four green peppers and one of them was literally cut in two by something heavy. I work hard and pay a lot of money to buy my food and just really do not like to come home to find these issues. I don’t know if it is lack of training or simply just not caring but I am ready to shop at Hannaford instead!

Worst experience ever...30 minutes in line..cashiers facial expressions BLANK..took her 10 minutes to ring order..when I asked the manager to check on her my response from him was believe it or not shes always like that! WOW! How many kids in Fitchburg want a job! So sad!

Stop in there today for a couple of items. My main reason was for some Turkey legs. I ask the guy in the meat department to cut the legs into 3 pieces. He told me no that the pieces would be too small. Well duh thats what I wanted and he refused to cut the legs. Got home and thought about it and called the store manager but hes on vacation. I will be calling next week

Too many places to walk around to find simple things like a wrap to make sandwiches not enough registers open when youre busy three people on each line that was open with full carriages I would imagine thats a pretty peak time for 4:30 in the afternoon on a Sunday would justify more cashiers on a good note a couple managers in the store help me find products that I needed and were willing to walk me to the area but I declined that look fine with myself after a Little Help from them in the cashier that I had was polite

Well stocked store with sub shop style kitchen for subs, chicken fingers, onion rings, salads, and more! Good bakery for cakes, and desserts! Ive found that the alot but not all deli workers dont like slicing items thin. Even after they show you the size you want, then ten to thicken up after they show you. As for butcher meats, buy in small portions as you will get fresher meats that last longer.

This location always seems to be stocked very well with items unlike competitors like Walmart and Stop & Shop. I enjoy that they limited essential supplies like toilet paper and cleaners to avoid the panic shoppers.The one way isles are a little confusing but, understandable.
