I have had a great experience with Madison Top Soil for the last two springs. The delivery of soil last year and soil + mulch this year was smooth and easy. My raised garden beds did nicely with the garden mix last year, so when I wanted to expand with more beds this year, I went back for the same soil. I have recommended this soil blend to some other friends who are starting their own gardens as well. The prices are fair, I love not having a ton of plastic bags to haul around, and the delivery drivers do a great job of showing up on time and placing the soil as nicely as possible in the spot I asked them to place it. Madison Top Soil is a great business to help with your soil and mulching needs!

My flowers went crazy this year since I switched to Madison Top Soils Garden Mix. All these flowers were grown from seed and never had to add any fertilizer to get these flowers to take off like they did. Great Products and great service. 20/10 recommend!

I needed a large amount of top soil to fill in a depression that had formed in our front yard over time, as well as be the base for reseeding parts of our lawn. The depression in the yard wasnt too far off our driveway, and the team at Madison Top Soil honored my request to place our delivery in that very spot to save lots of manual labor on our part. The top soil was really great to work with on this project; well shredded and easy to move as needed, plus easy to work in grass seed after preparation. We would call Madison Top Soil again!

Living in Spring Green, there are not a lot of options for good garden soil with added compost, so when I was told about Madison Top Soil, I jumped on the website and ordered what I needed for our new raised beds. As soon as the product was available, I was able to easily order what I needed, complete with delivery. Excellent communication with confirmation of the order, anticipated delivery time, and updated delivery time by text. Perfect and the soil is so lovely! I cant wait to plant and enjoy the harvest. Madison Top Soil provided on time delivery of our mulch, and they went out of their way to make sure the delivery occurred due to a scheduling mistake on my part. I’m not sure if this was the same company I used last year for garden dirt (because last year whatever we bought had very few), but we bought 5 cubic yards and it was full of weeds immediately Hundreds in each bed. I have to spend hours preparing these beds now after recently receiving the soil. I would not recommend this location.

The driver that dropped off the soil was very nice, thats about all that was good. I ordered 2 yards of the garden mix to add to both my raised beds and my landscape beds. It was very pricey compared to other companies, I thought I was getting a quality mix. Very disappointed. The soil looked like it was good quality, but about 2 weeks after adding to my beds, little weeds started growing EVERYWHERE! Im sure this is going to cause me nightmares in the coming months. My raised beds are 3 feet tall, I have never had weeds in them, now I have so many I am going to have to constantly weed. I would NOT order again.**Update: Updating from 1 to 3 stars. Ian, the owner, came out to my garden personally to see the issue with the Garden mix and the weeds growing from the mix. He was very willing to work with me on a solution and made this right by me as a customer. While I wont order the Garden mix again, I would order mulch and greatly appreciate the owner being so attentive to his customer needs.

I bought three yards of Purple Cow Classic Compost from Madison Topsoil in April 2021. Purple Cow Compost is new to me, but it looks good. Madison Topsoil delivered within a week of ordering, came when they said they would, dumped onto a tarp in my driveway. Friendly to work with.

Ordered a few yards of the premium top soil to fill out some new raised beds. Delivery was quick and the soil was amazing. It was surprisingly easy to tell it was premium. The plants did great and there were absolutely no dormant weeds. These beds were an anomaly in the yard until the local weeds made their way over. Ill absolutely buy soil, compost, or mulch from them again.
